5:22 a.m.

That's today, the 9th of the 10 days with the earliest sunrise time, 5:17.

I was there at 5:17, but the sun had not yet broken over the shoreline.

I don't have a view of the horizon. The first direct bit of sun became visible at 5:20:

You see why I picked 5:22 as the best. It wasn't because I was 5 minutes "late." I wasn't late! Were you?

You are being richly rewarded by nature for your early rising with spectacular sunrises this week! The pictures from the last few days have been stunning.

You cant imagine my surprise that The Bulwark was on this list of “conservative influencers” in the pay of Google to cover for their extreme bias with consevative sounding twaddle.

So the sun kept you waiting? Sads. Better talk to the manager.

National Review is a liberal magazine, with at least 1/2 of its staff supporting Joe Biden. There are no longer a Center-right magazine, and haven't been for about 10 years. Of course, they're on the Google payroll. The Bulwark and Dispatch are not only financed by a Left-wing Billionaire, they too are on Google's Payroll.

It explains a lot. But don't get the wrong idea. Kristol, Goldberg, French and Williamson aren't "Conservatives on the take" - they were never conservative.

Good thing Solicitor General got his resignation in day before handed one of his biggest defeats at hands of predecessor Olson.

How long before we are told that the lack of Black faces on supermarket shelves is evidence of systematic racism?

Yes, lovely sunrise image this morning, Ann. And those little clouds, strung out like that, I think they're one of the unusual cloud types, of which there are many. Por ejemplo 'lenticular,' 'mammatus,' 'asperatus,' and others. Maybe somebody with a faster connection than mine (i.e., everybody) would like to google ( cloud type unusual ) and see if there's one that matches your photo...

The bird at 5:17 was a nice addition.
