First off, LaBlaq is not MY favorite ComicBookBabe. But I agree the Onion is not Fake News!!, in fact it's not news at all. As for the humor of it, that's subjective. This particular one is amusing to me.
Clicked through to that tweet and see that Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton both replied to it, with thinly veiled Trump criticism. LOL. Those two old fools are the ones without a sense of humor.
That is funny, but the wow factor is undermined by the fact that disinfectant-gate is just another media hoax, and media hoaxes are pretty predictable.

Seems mild as anti-Trump humor goes. It almost could even have been posted on the Babylon Bee and read with the understanding that it was as much about the media (or the gullibility of some people - maybe of all people, only about different things) as about Trump.
Ditto on the NPR comment. Everybody knows NPR has a bias. Apparently, it's something that people have been able to live with (and joke about) for years. Like the president - whoever is president - the media are legitimate objects for satire and ribbing. As with all politicians, so with all the media: there's usually something true and something untrue in the jokes.
We ought to be able to condemn the really unfunny and untrue and cruel stuff and tolerate the rest. I don't want to get the BJP after me, but people really do have to lighten up about their sacred cows.

Trump let his enthusiasm for UV light get the better of him and used an inaccurate term for speculating on how to apply the findings. He further complicated the situation by saying that his enthusiasm was sarcasm directed at the media. Then he didn't take questions at yesterday's presser. The entire incident makes him look clumsy and defensive....I'm still voting for Trump. I just hope he doesn't drive off a bridge and leave some girl to drown. That would probably change my mind about voting for him.
Next, the Onion will report that a political family that is investment partners with a Chinese bank accuses Trump of not being tough enough on China.
I look upon Trump as, for the time being, a useful ally, in the sense of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend"--the enemy in this case being the Worst and Stupidest People on Earth: i.e, the "liberal" Hive. But even if Trump were John Galt, I wouldn't ingest something because the president--any president, even Galt (whose background was in engineering and not chemistry or biomedical science--suggested I do.
