Oh yeah, the string implants are scary. I can't imagine that anyone is still using them. Some of the alliteratively named actresses that got them in the 90s are still around.
(I went to lookup youtube videos of 'girls rubbing balloons together' and fell down a rabbit hole.)
Way back, I saw some girls that had had silicone injections. Some were Japanese girls that had it done in the 50s during the Occupation,
Bad results and these will be , too.
I have never heard of this either and now having visited the link and read a little bit about it will say, once again, that some people a friggin' nuts.
Honestly, those implants are just gross. They look more like a couple of out of control tumors or cysts rather than breasts. While I'm generally opposed to most cosmetic surgery, outside of reconstructive surgery for injuries, I don't mind if people want to touch themselves up a little. But there has to be point where the plastic surgeon isn't just helping someone touch up a little and is feeding into a person's body dysmorphia.

No, that isn't 100% true. Nearly all women's breasts do, but again, only natural. There's nothing sexy about those with implants, IMHO.

Did anyone ever read Fanny Burney's detailed description of her double mastectomy back in the early 19th century. Women were a lot tougher back then. Just when she thought it was over, they scraped her bones to make sure they got it all. She was awake and screaming for the entire procedure. She lived for many years after. Maybe they got it all. Maybe it was a procedure she didn't need......People have suffered for dumber causes than vanity. I went to dentists sixty years ago. It was pretty hideous on occasion, and we're talking about saving a bicuspid, not enhancing my sex appeal.
