"On Saturday, police fired teargas at thousands of Iranians who had taken to the streets in the capital and other cities, many chanting "Death to the dictator", directing their anger at Iran's top authority, Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei."
It does look as though the ordinary Iranians — not members of the theocracy, but the folks who work for a living — feel ready to leave the twelfth century and join the twenty-first.
We got up to 73 F yesterday, but big thunderstorms last night broke that- still warm, today, though- around 60 F. Broke the record for January 11th by one degree. Will run close to record highs again starting again on Tuesday.
Weather like this isn't unusual for east TN, though- we get these periods in January just about every year.

Rejoin. They were there before once. Iran is not a bunch of goat fucking arabs.
If the US government placed a giant Iranian flag in a public square so people would be required to step on it as they went around their business, what would we call it? Barbaric. Uncivilized.
Reminds me of when Peter David somehow convinced King Features to let him write a "The Marriage of Popeye" one-shot comic book. As you would expect from a David project it was well-written & funny and showed a deep knowledge of Popeye's history, even bringing back Ham Gravy as the wedding-day villian.
..And he got to sneak in the "Popeye: Well, blow me down!" "Olive: Later, Popeye!" joke. (Hey, they would be married by then!)
Big Mike said... It does look as though the ordinary Iranians — not members of the theocracy, but the folks who work for a living — feel ready to leave the twelfth century and join the twenty-first.
There are people everywhere that want freedom.
There are people everywhere that don't care.
There are people that just want to tell other people what to do.
The struggle of history is the first against the second and third.

Have read that the rather modern cosmopolitan cities are controlled by the army and the secret police, the rural areas by the medievalist mullahs. Both authoritarian, but fundamentally incompatible.
Bold prediction: current Iranian demonstrations will not lead to significant political changes within Iran. The demonstrations that started in Mashhad in late 2017 received praise from numerous US officials, including President Trump, and by the end of January they had largely petered out or been quelled.
There has been a persistent myth since 2009 that Obama somehow missed an opportunity by not inserting himself into the Green Movement protest. The Green Movement was never about overthrowing the regime. They were backers of Mir-Hossein Mousavi in the Iranian presidential election over Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who they believe had illegally stolen the election. It was labeled "green" in the first place because that was the color associated with Mousavi's campaign.

Seems familiar except for the color of demonstrators apparel.

Inga: "Despite being Muslims!"
Uh, those aren't the muslims you your dem pals have been supporting since 2009.
Obama and his team of idiots went all in on the islamic supremacist buddies from the beginning culminating in the complete and total democrat support given to the mad mullahs in the last week.
Who can forget how obambi abandoned the Green Revolution protestors in Iran in 2009?
as pointed out in the other thread, miss firestarters posts seem to be ghosted by her father and one other activists, I would say Time fell for another fraud, but that's just a day ending in y,
Meanwhile, after getting smacked around by President Trump via very targeted strikes in multiple nations against the dems beloved islamic terrorist leaders AND heavy new primary and secondary sanctions, the Iranians signal their very very new found willingness to de-escalate and resume talks.
This is something that just 48 hours ago the moron democratics "brain trust" said was impossible.
Trump must have found a foreign policy "Magic Wand" to go along with his "Economy" and "Trade Deals" "Magic Wands".
Amazing. So many Magic Wands just lying around DC and it took Trump to find them.
take Lebanon, policy there, as Carolyn glick, point was largely shaped by tom friedman and robin wright's narrative, that Hezbollah was an organic movement, instead of an artificial Iranian proxy, and so policy considered them a legitimate body,
so for 36 years, abu muhandis was allowed to sow terror not only in Beirut, but Baghdad and other places, it took 25 years before they got to mugniyeh, suleimani was only 16 years,
Saw the sunrise today at The Cloisters on the Platte near Gretna, Nebraska. Due east it was quite purple and orange and the actual sunrise was quite a bit to the south towards Nebraska City. Full moon and saw it set on Saturday morning. Some snow. Very cold.

anything that tries to put a varnish on the philosophy that leads to ration cards, bloc committees and firing squads, I'm not keen on, and no I don't think it turns out another way this time around, many of these institutions, that have sworn to protect our rights like say the fisa courts, have been the capricious instruments of partisans, and I'm fairly certain this isn't the first time,

And he supported the extremist Muslim m brotherhood in Egypt and N Africa. From Honduras, Poland/Russia to ISIS, I can't think of a foreign policy he supported that was not a disaster.
High of 64 today, northeastern MA, supposed to hit a low of 28 this evening. Felt like summer out there today. I prefer cold this time of year.
Trump seems to be sticking his nose into the politics of a foreign nation, meddling if you will, through social media which I'm told is really, really bad when it's done to us by bad guys like Putin. Horrible. Should the articles of impeachment be amended?
Robert Cook said... "Between Farmer and Inga, I think I had better go to another blog lest I lose more brain cells."
I've never seen you make a substantive refutation of Farmer.
Did you miss his idiotic take on whether the U.S. Military does or should ever intervene when it's "just" American contractors being killed? Consider him refuted.
One cannot refute an incredulous stare. Smug doesn't comment to genuinely consider other opinions. Some of us realized that earlier than others. And acted accordingly.
Kinda like not trying to convince you that your murderous ideology is a murderous ideology.
Was Houston hot-dogging it when they were up 21 nothing?
If you count a dumb punt trick play that ended shy of the 1st down, then yes. Otherwise, they got lucky with some special teams mistakes by KC plus lots of dropped balls. And then KC calmed down and Houston got tired.

‘Whistleblower’ calls out John Kerry, says he ‘knows for fact’ Obama admin sent multiple letters directly to Soleimani Middle East expert Michael Doran slammed former Secretary of State John Kerry in a series of tweets exposing the Obama administration’s dealings with Iran.
Bannon wants the trial with all the witnesses. The world will watch this. Hong Kong, Taiwan, Iran. Bannon is not concerned about Bolton and Mulvaney and anyone else. I think Bolton is a bomb that the Democrats think will help them but will blow them up.
“And he supported the extremist Muslim brotherhood in Egypt and N Africa.”
To be fair, it never has been clear whether that was President Obama, or Crooked Hillary’s confidante and chief aid, Huma Abedelin (Werner) whose family has had close ties to the MB for decades. Her mother and brothers still run a newspaper that her father founded with close MB ties, and that has long been considered a MB mouthpiece.
“‘Whistleblower’ calls out John Kerry, says he ‘knows for fact’ Obama admin sent multiple letters directly to Soleimani”
I have long wondered about the swing in foreign policy from the Sunni Muslim Brotherhood to Shi’a Iran during Obama’s term of office. These two have often (literally) been mortal enemies. The answer may simply have been the switch between Crooked Hillary to Lurch Kerry as Secretary of State.
I think Nancy Pelosi's delayed the Senate's impeachment trial to screw over Bernie. Although Iowa state law requires the parties give two weeks notice before the caucuses take place, the Democrats' rules demand 90 days notice. So postponing the caucuses now means that the caucuses wouldn't occur until May. There's no way the caucuses are going to be delayed for the impeachment trial. And Bernie gets screwed again...
“delaying sending impeachment articles to screw Bernie?”
No. I expect that the House Democratic leadership wanted to get their impeachment investigation done before the end of the year, but then realized that they had given up power to the Senate to torpedo their hard work. Also, they desperately want to get the information and evidence currently being litigated that is being protected by grand jury secrecy, Executive Privilege, and Attorney/Client privilege. Esp important to them is probably the Mueller grand jury information that his rabidly partisan and highly unethical prosecutors ran through their multiple grand juries just to get it to the Dem controlled House. This apparently includes much of the information collected through the Carter Page Title I FISA warrants, and very possibly the fruits of possibly four years of FISA 702(16)(17) searches of NSA databases by FBI contractors. And, indeed, the Carter Page FISAs may have primarily utilized just for that - bootstrapping the 702(16)(17) political research and tracking that got shut down by NSA Director Rogers in late spring of 2016. In any case, if the Senate dismisses the impeachment, or completes its trial too quickly, those three lawsuits by the House Dems would be arguably moot, and, thus, should be dismissed.
What I can’t decide is whether the House Democrats really are incapable of planning that far ahead. Its almost like the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing until too late. Again and again. My guess is that they rushed the impeachment vote so that they wouldn’t be seen as impeaching Trump right before the election. And that would have likely been used against them in the run up to the election in November. And, there may have been a number of Trump district Dem House members who made it clear that they wouldn’t vote to impeach in an election year. But that potentially leaves the Senate Dems running for President on the hook for the impeachment trial. Thus the bright idea to delay the Senate trial until the Dems had selected their Presidential candidate. Except that the Senate Republicans killed that idea by threatening to vote to dismiss if they didn’t get the House’s articles of impeachment forthwith. And now the Republicans are threatening to follow the Clinton impeachment procedure precedent, which would allow dismissal after initial statements, bypassing the possibility of calling witnesses.
@Nichevo - I think many on their side recognize Bernie would be an electoral disaster. And not just for the presidency, but for both houses of Congress. Sidelining the guy during the critical early primaries - even for a few weeks - would help detail his campaign.
So I'll go look at the other thread but I'll just say that this would appear to affect all Senators equally. But let me go to the 527 thread as advised, TYVM.
And let me just say in closing:
Jeffrey Epstein didn't kill himself. And PS 752 wasn't killed by accident.
“ And now the Republicans are threatening to follow the Clinton impeachment procedure precedent, which would allow dismissal after initial statements, bypassing the possibility of calling witnesses.”
Keep this in mind. There are several ways to get lawsuits dismissed before the case can go to the jury.
One is “ failure to state a claim upon which relief can be granted” (FRCP 12(b)(6)). And arguably, the House Democrats did just that. Article I claims Abuse of Power, where Trump was exercising his plenary Article II power and authority to conduct foreign policy. And impeachment Article II is for Obstruction of Congress, for refusing to honor House subpoenas. Except that they weren’t legally subpoenas, because they never threatened judicial enforcement, since the House didn’t want the courts ruling on their legitimacy. Instead of threatening to get the courts involved to settle these Separation of Powers issues, the fake “subpoenas” merely threatened to consider President Trump to be Obstructing Congress (after citing their inapplicable A1S1 Oversight and not yet applicable A1S2 impeachment powers). Because neither of these is anywhere close to being High Crimes or Misdemeanors, and, indeed, are almost assuredly fully Constitutional uses of Article II Executive Power, there is a serious possibility that they are both dismissed under essentially FRCP 12(b)(6) (while the FRCP is probably not actually applicable in a Senate impeachment trial, the Senate has control over its procedures, and I expect the Republicans will argue its applicability by analogy).
The Senate, under the Clinton rules, would also apparently have a second chance to dismiss, after both sides have rested their cases, and that is through essentially a Motion for a Directed Verdict (other names for this also are used), which essentially requests dismissal because there was no credible evidence presented for one or more required element of a charge. Did the Democrats actually introduce hard evidence that there was anything wrong with Trump’s phone conversation with the Ukrainian President? During the impeachment “hearings”, all we heard were surmises. Those aren’t hard evidence, and would likely be excluded anyway as hearsay and wishful thinking.
The thing is, strategically, that the Republicans are probably in better shape by dismissing the case before they have to vote for guilt or innocence. First, dismissal can probably get the votes of all of the Republican Senators (the wabblers able to argue that they might have voted to remove, if the House Dems had done their job, instead of voting out their slap dash articles of impeachment). And they might even pick up some swing state Democrats.
Well, I got a case of the sneezes. Haven't had a cold in a few years, but looks like I'll need to pull out the pre-emptive remedies to knock it out beforehand.
@Bruce Hayden, your thoughts on this: the Democrats want a dismissal in the Senate so that they can campaign on the "cover up" of impeachment perpetrated by the Republicans? Nancy called dismissal that, exactly, on one of the Sunday shows.
OK, I'll pull a Crack and engage in shameless self-promotion (although I'm not looking to hit you up for $$$).
I've decided to post a hymn to YouTube every Sunday from now until the day I can't do it anymore, for the purposes of my own edification and because I like hymns.
The UK threatens to tear up its defence alliance with the US after Trump's Iran crisis triggers a rupture between the two countries."
LOLOLOLOLOL
Shorter Britain: We are very angry that Trump is making us pay our fair share for defense of British interests (including protecting British Middle East interests) and at the same time it is true that British intelligence agencies colluded with democrats to spy on and frame candidate Trump.
This is a sham partisan impeachment, and evidence this thin has NEVER been used to impeach a President in the last 150 years. The R's are making a big mistake in treating this as a solemn trial about Guilt and innocence. Of course, they're a bunch of boring, pompous twits who love the limelight. But this thing needs to be treated like the joke it is, or we'll have an "Impeachment" every year a Republican in President.
BTW if you want to know how dishonest CNN is, look at their current headline "13 former Press Secretaries" call for trump to hold WH Press briefing. Then you look at the details and it includes State and Defense Department Press Secretaries. Only 7 of the 13 are WHITE HOUSE press secretaries. And then you notice that 11 of the 13 worked for Obama and/or Clinton. Of the remaining two, one Scott McClellan voted for Obama in 2008, Hillary in 2016, and did NOT publicly support Romney. The other, hasn't been active in politics for 14 years.
Honest Title: Obama and Clinton supporters call for WH Press Briefing.

From 2005 to 2010 Wallace was a member of the Scottish Affairs Select Committee.[14] From 2006 to 2010 Wallace was the Shadow Minister of State for Scotland. He was Chairman of the British–Iran Parliamentary Group from 2006 to 2014.
How big would be require the defense budget to be:
Wallace faced criticism locally after it was revealed he had the fourth highest expenses claim of any MP in the UK in 2008, claiming £175,523 on top of his £63,000 salary. However, he defended the costs by arguing that the constituency has an electorate that is nearly 20% larger than the average one in England.[17]

Seems like only yesterday Inga was doing her mindreading thing and telling us how Trump was so very afraid of Warren!
I think that was before Inga told us Trump was afraid of Avenatti and after Inga told us Trump was afraid of Beto and quite some time after Inga told us Trump was afraid of Biden but still long before Inga told us Trump was afraid of Buttittgrriigreegg.
I would argue that the brightest political mind of the modern era is Steve Bannon. He understands Brexit, he understands the latent economic "Cold War" with China (which I didn't) and he understands the Dems' "nullification project" against the President. If you are a political junkie, I'd suggest you listen to his take on thinks.
Why would Twitter remove a video of Harry Markle selling Meghan's voice-overs to Disney CEO? And what's up with hanging out with Uranium 1/clintonista Frank Giustra? With the Clinton Foundation drying up, is the DukenDuchess Foundation going to take its place for money laundering?
Where's Humper, that sexy scion of the House of Biden been hidin'?
Where's Joe Pientka and who /why is he scrubbed out of sight?
Since the UK spy agencies were trying to defeat Trump and get Hillary elected, it would be no big loss. And all of these years after we told the UK and France to go pound salt in the Suez Crisis, maybe it’s time we stopped carrying their water in the Middle East.
If Iraq wants us out because we object to our soldiers being killed there by Iranian backed forces, well, I suggest we leave sooner than quicker.

If we got out of the middle east and let Europe look out for their own oil, maybe we wouldn’t need so much spying to prevent terrorism. If the EU wasn’t looking to gobble up the old Soviet Empire at the expense of the Russians, maybe we could live in peace with Putin.
We are energy independent and will be for decades, when hopefully new energy techs come along, we should retreat back to “little America” pre-WWI America, before we got sucked into Europe’s wars.
“Speaking with CNN’s Jake Tapper, Esper insisted Trump “never said there was specific intelligence to four different embassies.”
“What the president said was he believed it probably could have been,” Espert told Tapper. “He didn’t cite intelligence.”
In fact, in an interview with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham on Friday, Trump purported to be divulging intelligence to the contrary.
“I can reveal that I believe it probably would’ve been four embassies,” the president told Ingraham.
Asked about the president’s claim in a separate interview with CBS’ Margaret Brennan on Sunday, Esper admitted he “didn’t see” evidence showing a plan to attack 4 U.S. embassies.”
Yes, but what does Rachael Maddow say? Nobody knows what Mueller knows! Why isn’t she in jail, BTW, for taking millions of dollars impersonating a journalist? Oh that’s right, anybody can pretend to be a journalist no matter how crazy.
Apparently Inga believes that, while Soleimani had been running operations and killing Americans for many years, he had just decided to stand down. What a travesty that we killed him just as he was turning over a new leaf.

The poll showed a majority of Independents, 57%, and all U.S. adults, 56%, disapproving of Trump's handling of the situation with Iran, with 43% of both Independents and U.S. adults approving.”
UK Defence Secretary Ben Wallace said on Sunday that Trump's isolationist foreign policy stance meant the UK was now looking for alternative allies around the world. "I worry if the United States withdraws from its leadership around the world," he told the Sunday Times.
Good! Send your own boys to die in these shitholes. Your empire is your problem.
I am very pleased from a political point of view that the dems, represented so well by Admiral Inga, intend to keep fighting their pro-American-murdering-terrorist battle against Trump while simultaneously arguing the US should continue to pick up the vast vast majority of all global security costs for European nations that wont pay their share of the costs.
Along with the dems support for open borders, pro-MS13 policies, free everything for illegals, shutting down energy production and infanticide, how can they lose?

The Democrats know there’s a problem with the ICIG. His testimony is the only one they haven’t released.
The best way for the US to effect change within Iran is to normalize relations between the two countries. Diplomatic and economic isolation has a shitty track record in changing regime behavior (e.g. Cuba). The "Death to America"/"Great Satan" bullshit is not a reflection of some ideological commitment. It is a PR slogan. A propaganda campaign. Internally, the US is depicted as an intrusive, imperialist power intent on subjugating the people of Iran for its own ends. Defense against this threat is thus used to justify numerous oppressive practices. While the regime promulgates an extremely over-the-top version of this, it is nonetheless grounded in some basic truth. Iran under the Shah was essentially a US puppet state. The best way to undermine the regime's propaganda is to deny them the enemy they rely on.

How? They were calling us the Great Satan and chanting for our destruction even as we rolled over, showed our belly and shipped them billions of dollars.
Rich Lowry brought up a good point: Is the standard now that we can't take out a terrorist responsible for many attacks on our country because two days later and hundreds of miles away the terrorist's country might accidentally take out an airliner departing their own airport?
Will that insane standard also be applied to Democrats? To ask is to answer.
Interesting comment Mr. Farmer. I think PJ O'Rourke said something about the Soviet Union being brought down by the Beatles and Bulgarian blue jeans. I've often thought the same thing about Cuba. I was there with the Venceremos Brigade for 8 weeks in 1972. I can imagine a full-scale cultural assault on Cuba.
Being the child of Cuban exiles myself. I can say confidently that had we traded with Cuba all these years, none of it would have made it's way to the people. It would all have been confiscated by Castro and his thugs. Hell, he even takes the vast bulk of money that Cubans in the US try to send to their families on the island. If you think US trade with Castro would've helped anyone other than Castro, you're horribly naive. Cuba could trade with every other country in the world, after all. Did anyone outside of the Party benefit? Not a whit. He still spent every penny raising armies in Africa and spurring revolutions in South America rather than feed his people. Incrwasing trade will just get you more exporting of Communism. Ditto Iran and terrorism.
"...Although the Sussexes will be settling in Canada, their ultimate goal is to have a home and business in LA – but only after Donald Trump is no longer President, sources have said."
Potentially either extended, repeating on this scale for months, which will have a terrible effect on everything for a hundred miles around, through repeated dustings of ash - knocking out Manila's airport for the duration is just one likely possibility - or an final explosive eruption possibly on the Pinatubo scale.
Unlike Pinatubo though the possible pyroclastic flows from Taal could easily reach densely populated areas. And Taal is much closer to the massive Manila conurbation than Pinatubo. Several feet of ash on Manila, with its 25 million people, would paralyze everything.
The Sussexes will cut themselves off from the Sovereign Grant, their portion of the income from the Crown Estate. The £14.3 billion ($18.7 billion) estate, which was cobbled together over centuries of savvy acquisition and brute force, is neither quite the property of the government nor the monarch.
Most of the couple’s money comes from the more modest Duchy of Cornwall, an entirely different £931 million estate cobbled together over centuries of savvy acquisition and brute force. It is a private estate, and the Sussexes intend to hang on to their chunk—which makes up 95% of their income.
Just a note to say "Everything I Dislike" is now on iTunes, Spotify, and all the other major streaming services, so - if you want to hear more conservative content out there - I'd greatly appreciate you considering either requesting it somewhere, following me on one of them, or even - stop my heart - buying the damn thing over on CDBaby for a mere .99 cents.
As the NewAgers say, it's all connected - now: do your part or I'll call you all racists - again - and mean it this time.
J. @ 11:11 Sure. I almost believe that. It's always a good policy, when someone threatens you with death, repeatedly, is to assume they're not serious. Don't bother to arm yourself, JIC. You might not be pro Iranian regime, but they couldn't have a better cheerleader.
After all is said and done. President Trumps handling of Iran is already paying big dividends.
Repeatedly, diplomatic experts are wrong on foreign policy. President Trump is consuming massive amounts of intelligence, distilling out all the crap that is group think, and all the interests that support a global outlook that always puts the United States at a disadvantage.
President Trump is clear in his reasoning. World foreign policy that we have been operating under since WW II is no longer a consideration. President Trump is loud and clear. WW II is long over, nations have been rebuilt and that cost has been born by America's working class.
It is now time for the US to be on equal footing with all Nations, not subordinate to interests of other nations.
This is the cause of the consternation of nations concerning dealing with President Trump. Since WW II, working class Americans funded the economies of the world. President Trump has said "no more". The taxpayers of America are not going to be the piggy bank for the world.

It's not about our being "energy independent;" it's about our maintaining ownership of and/or control over access to as much of the oil available in the world as we can. It's about the money, and our global political and economic dominance.

There are people everywhere that don't care.
There are people that just want to tell other people what to do.

I'll let Steve Bannon answer Cook;s question.
Bannon wants the trial with all the witnesses. The world will watch this. Hong Kong, Taiwan, Iran. Bannon is not concerned about Bolton and Mulvaney and anyone else. I think Bolton is a bomb that the Democrats think will help them but will blow them up.
Interesting times.
FoundChuck's Twitter account. As vile and disgusting as expected
Would someone pushing this notion of the impeachment timing being designed to impede Bernie Sanders please explain in short words?
Robert Cook said...

This is a sham partisan impeachment, and evidence this thin has NEVER been used to impeach a President in the last 150 years. The R's are making a big mistake in treating this as a solemn trial about Guilt and innocence. Of course, they're a bunch of boring, pompous twits who love the limelight. And then you notice that 11 of the 13 worked for Obama and/or Clinton. Of the remaining two, one Scott McClellan voted for Obama in 2008, Hillary in 2016, and did NOT publicly support Romney. The other, hasn't been active in politics for 14 years.

My son and his girlfriend just got back from a Japan vacay with a ring on her finger. Had some good tears today.
I think about half the time I waste on the internet is here on Althouse, reading the mostly smart comments and excellent snark. Literally. More than Instapundit, Ace, Powerline and all the interesting links.

“UPDATE: The Bloomberg campaign reached out to the Washington Examiner to dispute the number of attendees reported at events in Texas on Saturday. A campaign adviser said 130 people attended the restaurant gathering while more than 700 people attended Bloomberg events throughout the day.”
Congrats i try to make it oast the chaff
Past, yes opec had gotten its act by the 60s, however the reaction to the esso spill, told them this was their opportunity after 1969
Whoopsie daisy.

“Overall attitudes about Trump and the consequences of his actions against Iran largely were driven by Independents, a critical target for both parties in electoral politics. The poll showed a majority of Independents, 57%, and all U.S. adults, 56%, disapproving of Trump's handling of the situation with Iran, with 43% of both Independents and U.S. adults approving.”

"he had just decided to stand down. “
Yes, he was on his way to a poetry slam when the message came from above that he was wanted in Hell.
So why did the raiders have 'we are sileimanis people' on their placards
I am very pleased from a political point of view that the dems, represented so well by Admiral Inga, intend to keep fighting their pro-American-murdering-terrorist battle against Trump while simultaneously arguing the US should continue to pick up the vast vast majority of all global security costs for European nations that wont pay their share of the costs.
Along with the dems support for open borders, pro-MS13 policies, free everything for illegals, shutting down energy production and infanticide, how can they lose?
Next up for Admiral Inga: Soleimani jyst wanted to start an organic vegan farm and commune with nature while raising sheep and composing folk music!
“UK Defence Secretary Ben Wallace said on Sunday that Trump's isolationist foreign policy stance meant the UK was now looking for alternative allies around the world. "I worry if the United States withdraws from its leadership around the world," he told the Sunday Times.”
Oh, spare me! Like “Oh no! There’s going to be a draft!”, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve heard this bit of pearl-clutching in my life.
@Inky the Stinky, take your phony baloney polls and stick ‘em where the sun don’t shine. ABC might fool you, but won’t fool anyone with three digits in their IQ.
I wonder when we will be receiving updates on this latest world war Trump has started (according to Inga)?
This is what? The 3rd or 4th world war Trump has started, right?
The casualties must be in the hundreds of millions by now...
Hey, remember way back when Net Neutrality was going to literally kill millions!!
Good times...
And if Ben Wallace and the UK want the US to be a leader then they can damned well salute and get in line behind us.
Assuming the poll of 525 are roughly propertion it would 175 x57- 100.
Great minds:

per @DevinNunes, the ICIG wants to claim his office is incompetent and didn’t know any better. That’s fine but he’s going to have to prove that’s the case.

Good grief someone contact the board of directors.
Of course since none of the board are engineers its kind of beside the point.
A silence of the lambs series after all this time, who asked for this?
What a travesty that we killed him just as he was turning over a new leaf.

Are they patient enough to wait five years before that happens?
Taal volcano eruption is looking very worrisome.
Oh what a beautiful day!!

Sure. I almost believe that. It's always a good policy, when someone threatens you with death, repeatedly, is to assume they're not serious. Don't bother to arm yourself, JIC.
You might not be pro Iranian regime, but they couldn't have a better cheerleader.

I can certainly see why Cook is so enthusiastic about Farmer's foreign policy ideas.
