The coldness.

Blizzard games and mud games are the only games worth watching.

Congrats to the Packers. My Patriots are apparently going nowhere in this year's playoffs. Maybe I'll adopt the Packers. Love watching those games at Lambeau in the extreme cold, ice, and snow. Very old time football-ish.

If the Packers win the Super Bowl should we impeach the coach?

I don't see the Packers as a 12-3 team. Not sure how they did that. Certainly playing the Lions twice helps. That's 2 wins. Aside from that....magic. And two Aarons.

Should have been #1 seed, but the Seahawks forgot to snap the football.

Fake News. If they are the number 2 seed, then it starts somewhere else.

You look at yesterday and think "Holy Shit they barely won against the damn Lions!"

I look at yesterday and know: good teams win ugly.

They look like crap. Out of it. Stoned. Thinking of vag. Wanting some booze on a beach. They got enough money already, screw this game. Sick of getting battered and bruised.

But they still hang in there.

And then, with few minutes left, they wake up and play championship football.

Green Bay beats KC 31-17. It's Titletown time gentleman.

it was so bad I almost turned the game off twice. They ultimately won in spite of themselves.

Doesn’t the Frozen Tundra now have a heated field?

The process for determining what teams makes the playoff isn't fair. They should look at the composition of the teams racial components, the race of the owner and the racial diversity of the place the team claims to represent. Then DIVERSITY can make a real difference in the game. Or maybe we can just have a select group of people determine who will play. Make sure we have a mix of small market teams and maybe even a representative from fly-over country. Ha, what am I saying? No fly-over and no whites should be included.

The Viqueens and DuhBears add four more.

The field does have underground heating, which looks nice when they pull the tarp off but quickly freezes into a concrete like hardness. The real killer is the metal bench seating, to the unprepared it will quickly turn your nards into a freeze dried sack of powder.

The world is a better place when the Packers do well.

Fun fact. Every team with a winning record, both conferences, made the playoffs. No one should feel they were cheated out of a spot, OTOH, that means 20 of the 32 teams were 8 and 8 or worse.

The Lions realized that if they won (or tied), they'd slip down in Draft Position.

CWJ said...

Danno, playing in the AFC East has been a significant part of the Patriots formula for many years. Unlike past years, playing in the AFC West this year surely helped the Chiefs.

Danno said...

CWJ, my favorite team is now the KC Chiefs, as Patrick Mahomes is the most exciting newer player in football.

I only watched the last 13 minutes of yesterday’s game, and I watched it twice. Very entertaining!

There is little parity between divisions in either the AFC or the NFC and even teams with great season records may have had easy schedules. But the playoffs will sort it out and may the best teams make the SB. My picks: Baltimore vs. New Orleans.

Is that why that one guy pushed that guy?

CWJ said...

Danno, He's a great guy as well. So glad he's here in KC.

December 31, 1967, a great day in NFL history.

One and done. Embarrassing blowout loss at home.

Count on it.

Aaron Rodgers, 2nd greatest qb of all-time, ends career with 1 SB because GB brass refused to surround him with weapons.

GB gets 30 years of back-to-back HOF-quarterback play and only 2 SBs to show for it.

And yet no one in management goes to jail. For shame.

Yup. Then there's New England. Brady's been playing for 30 years and he has, what, 15 Super Bowls? Geez.

My Homie is a joy to watch. The league has never been better. I'm glad the kneeling healing is past. You people don't need extra anxiety

Brady and Belichick are the ultimate symbiosis.

rehajm said...

God luck to Green Bay, thouigh I suspect they will do what they do best in big games- suck at clock management. Whoever survives the SF Seattle rematch will get the Ravens unless Belichick knows to win with the team he assembled from the spare parts he got outside uncle Owen's moisture farm.

I was born in Wisconsin but grew up on Chicago. Most of my relatives were as devout Packer fans as I was a devout Bears fan. The best games were when the Bears won. The second best were when the Packers lost. The same went for my relatives.

Over time, I came to admire the Packers organization as much as I despise the McCaskey family.

I don't think they will make it to the SB, but I wish them the best of luck.

I will be rooting for the New Orleans Saints. Maybe the refs won't screw them this time.

It will be plenty warm for the NFC Championship Game in Santa Clara.

It's always entertaining when your team wins in the end.

Still dazed from that beating by the Niners in Week 11.

Took my son to his first Eagles game, v. Lions. My dad was there too. They lost. Lions didn't win another game after that.

I don't think the Packers' home playoff record is that special. I can't find said record in a 3-second search, of course. But I might have an interesting point.

The road to the Super Bowl for the NFC should always include a stretch of frozen tundra.

Titletown? LOL
