Homosexuality is a sub-optimal lifestyle. It has been a sub-optimal lifestyle for all of human history and through all time. I don't know for what reason, but it seems this sub-optimal lifestyle does affect the black community quite strongly for various socioeconomic reasons, so I understand that black people would have stronger views on the issue, especially if your candidate would have a 'First Husband'.
