Excellent! You've found a spot that centers the capitol dome and masks the MG&E smoke stacks. That the lake is so smooth suggests that it is now iced over.

It's just a matter of aiming the camera to put one thing or another in the middle and to get other things behind trees. I put the Capitol in the middle here because it was the most interesting thing, kind of taking the place of the sun.

Oh, no, not at all. Not even some ice near the shore. Completely open and the paths are a bit muddy. Not much snow left. It will be high 30s or higher for the next 10 days.

This outrage over what the Chinese government is doing in their "Wild West."
Anyone consider the similarity to the U.S. government using its military to gather the "Wild Indians" on reservations and forcing their young to cut their hair, wear "civilized" clothing, and attend "white men's" reservation schools?

Not that I approve of either, but people who live in rock houses should not throw glass!

We did that then when we were presumably less enlightened. Now presumably we would consider that objectionable, as we now consider the Chinese action objectionable. The flip side is that, if the Chinese can do this to their Muslims, can we do this to our Muslims? Or other dissident groups? Cuz plenty of people would make that deal.
