I'm almost convinced the long-term fallout from impeachment dog and pony show gets Trump re-elected and possibly will make Kevin McCarthy the House Speaker in 2020.
I'm not sure that articles of impeachment pass the House now.
The only meaningful poll will be taken on November 3rd of next year. But keep in mind that Trump's campaign has not even begun to take on Joe Biden's history of gaffes, of corruption, and of inappropriately touching little girls, so the notion that he only beats Biden by 3 is ridiculous.
While Democrats spend their time and money embarrassing themselves in DC, the Trump campaign has spent a lot of money expanding on its very successful 2016 'ground game' and local advertising. Read an article last month quoting multiple Democratic strategists bemoaning the advantage the Trump campaign has built in controlling the "2020 information battlespace" (yes, that is an actual quote) in critical states like Wisconsin, Florida, Pennsylvania etc.
I agree with Rick T. Down in Virginia's 7th Congressional District a moderate Democrat named Abigail Spanberger upset incumbent David Brat to flip the seat. The district runs from Culpeper (yes, that's the correct spelling) down through the western suburbs of Richmond to Nottoway on the southern tip. It is not a blue, nor even a purple, district, and Trump carried it in 2016 by 6 percentage points. If Spanberger votes for impeachment she might as well not bother to campaign next fall. And I am sure that there are many other Blue Dog Democrats in exactly the same boat.
It is worth noting that while Booker has yet to drop out of the 2020 race, RealClearPolitics has the New Jersey senator ranked in eighth place in the polls with an average of 1.8% support, meaning it is rather unlikely that he will secure the nomination anyhow.
It's true, Booker is the only one who can beat Trump in the most important swing state. It's not too late for Dems to realize he is their best candidate.
I'm of the opinion polls are not meant to reflect what we think. They are meant to influence what we think.
Pollsters are mostly left leaning. They are there to help create a narrative.
If the polls are saying Trump will win now, the point of the poll isn't to show Trump will win now.
The point of the poll is the subsequent polls. When they can show "momentum" for the Democrat as Trump loses ground.
Either that, or it's just a blow out. If the Republican really is leading this early on, it's game over.
But I don't think Trump really is. Not in Wisconsin. Instead I think it's a lead poll that will eventually show the Dem candidate getting momentum and Trump losing ground.
The more people see of any real Democrats, the more they hate them. Dems are attractive like Tide pods but really hard to swallow. And the more people see of Trump, the more they like him. They're surprised by him like little kids in their first snowfall.
This poll demonstrates the weakness of polls rather than the strength of Booker. Maybe they had him confused with some other guy. There's so many that it's easy to get confused.
Impeachment? Whatever the party wants, the party gets. And the party wants this the way Epstein wanted young girls - reality just isn't there any more. And they'll say in the history books talking of this era: Epstein didn't commit suicide but the Dems did.
If ever you needed proof as to the worthlessness of polls. Is Corey Booker still in this thing? Huh! Who knew? Has Corey Booker ever been to Wisconsin? Ever? Hmm. Who knew?
Anyway- it's a worthless bit of polling. But I repeat myself.
Quite an interesting poll. Biden was up 9 points in August. In fact, every Democrat beat Trump back then. Impeachment theatre support has also fallen 5%. Looks like any hopes the Dems had for Wisconsin are fading fast.
Expect to see the same results coming soon to a state near you.

Well, that's today's meaningless poll.
Should be another meaningless poll by tomorrow saying something else.
Trump can be beat by any generic Democrat. None of them are generic.

I am confused! How can a FASCIST "person of color" score to high?
The fiercely heterosexual Corey Booker.
Spartacus! You can do it! See the poll numbers?
Go, Booker, Go!

I AM SPARTACUS!
Meaningless, indeed. Booker couldn't beat Trump anywhere. So I discount the rest of the poll given that ridiculous data point.

...and Booger would have had Smollett problems anyway
I did not read the article, but I can clearly state that the article is absolutely bull fucking shit.
Wait... I thought All The Experts™ said Orange Man Was Bad and that he would easily go down to defeat next year...

What, you think he isn't?

It's probably because they haven't seen or heard much about Booker. Or they misheard it as "Hooker."

I had doubts early and nothing has changed my mind. How does Nancy get out of this ?
Fucking hell. Please!

and the Please! is pronounced Puh-leeese
i don't see Why they didn't ask about Trump vs the 2020 Nominee... you know, Hillary?
At this point, last time she was what? 50 points ahead?
And that was BEFORE all these Bombshells!
The Walls are starting to close in! This might be, the beginning of the End
—Or they misheard it as "Hooker."—
I was thinking maybe they thought it was Booker T Washington. Though he’s been dead 100 years.
How do these numbers compare to Trump's numbers before the impeachment charade started?
I think that would be the important take away.
I figure Booker is still in it because he keeps his mouth shut and all the other candidates say foolish things. He looks good in comparison.
But Adam Schitt and his hacks in the corrupt press keep saying stuff to hurt Trump.
It's not working on people who a normal sense of fairness?
The media is reaching for anything they can to get someone to beat Trump.
Booker might be the only one to come out clean?
We are about to find out just how much money the democrats have been grifting out of the "foreign aid" pool at least in the Ukraine.
Cory Booker?
Too hetero!
Booker can barely beat his own meat and that is if he is looking at a picture of ButtiBoy.
This is becuase Cheeseheads are suckers for men in shorts and gladiator movies.
I think people thought it was Fightin' Joe Hooker.

Thanks Schiff!
Didn't the Marquette poll show Hillary winning?
They forgot to ask the all-important "Are you by any chance related to Cory Booker?" question.
Why did you publish a square of used toilet paper?
