Man that is one ugly room. How can we trust the EU when they can't even make a simple room work?

The question before them is whether to go more halal or to stick with the old cruciferous ones.

That carpet is what happens when too many people get a say. Either that or it’s nap time in kindergarten.

Call any vegetable
Call it by name
Call any vegetable when you step off the train
Call any vegetable and the chances are good
That the vegetable will respond to you. . .

The sandwich that has been prepared for Boris Johnson is not depicted.

What a dysfunctional workspace. There is no advantage to having all those people in that room as opposed to videoconferencing. You can't see somebody's face across that size circle. Can't even hear each other without amplification. Passing something? Sharing? That's what white boards are for. What a lot of jerks.

This year's EU harvest looking kinda meager.

It’s the carpet! It looks like something from the kindergarten for deaf kids!

Get out Boris! Get out any way you can! Run away.

Oh, that crap in the middle of the room is some kind of seasonal centerpiece. I don't think they thought that through. It looks like litter or the residue from some green protest earlier..... The room manages neither intimacy nor formality. You can't be dignified on a rug such as that, nor can you be spontaneous and confiding when you have to address someone at a distance and over two railings and a bunch of pumpkins.....I hope everyone took their shoes off. That rug looks like a dirt magnet. It's not a metaphor for diversity but rather a metaphor for how soon our bright dreams become tarnished and heavy with the smell of industrial strength cleansers.

My working hypothesis is that Europe was so traumatized by World Wars 1 & 2 that they became atheist, socialist, bisexual pussies.

Saw Dylan tonight in Lincoln, NE. His set list was the same as previous shows on this tour.

Beyond Here Lies Nothin'
It Ain't Me, Babe
Highway 61 Revisited
When I Paint My Masterpiece
Can't Wait
Simple Twist of Fate
Honest With Me
Tryin' to Get to Heaven
Make You Feel My Love
Pay in Blood
Lenny Bruce
Early Roman Kings
Girl From the North Country
Not Dark Yet
Thunder on the Mountain
Soon After Midnight
Gotta Serve Somebody
ENCORE
Long and Wasted Years
It Takes a Lot to Laugh, It Takes a Train to Cry

Never seen him before. I read a lot of glowing reviews of his band but they sounded like a Vegas band to me. Good but not great. His harmonica was really good as well as his piano. Venue was about half full which surprised me. About half and half between young and geezers. I couldn’t figure out why he had 3 mannequins on stage. His band was dressed in gray suits, drummer in black and Dylan in a white sequin coat and black pants with white shoes. Not a Dylan fan but this was the first time he toured close to me. So I went.

I congratulate myself for me(y) Lovie congrats. Maybe I can not wrap my arms around to tackle and just front like I will tackle, just because #1111 so so good.

Oops, Ohio State nor The Pennsylvania State University agree with that undisciplined spelling ... and stinky stink.

Now, repeatedly, we walk these repeat threats, as warriors. History never had 70 year old cancer survivor's but history stopped (not started Rush: They stopped history) and won't awake again save home's sanctity.

They're going to hold Boris Johnson down in the middle and make him eat veggies till he agrees to stay in the EU - and like it. Think of all the starving Balkan people who want in. they'll say.

Like Lady Thatcher, I can’t tell the difference between the vegetables on the inside from the outside.

Fernandinande said...

The display of vegetables might be propaganda in service of the EU's "School fruit, vegetables and milk scheme", itself a repackaging of National Socialist vegetarian occultism, "Leave our food as natural as possible!"

When my British relatives harp on about how nasty Trump is and out totalitarian regime, I just ask ‘how’s that Brexit thing is working out for ya?’

stlcdr said...

Brexit is a lose-lose for the EU politicians (ugh). If* Britain leaves, it demonstrates that any EU nation - particularly the ones which are burdened by them (France, Germany) can just up and leave also.

If they overturn the referendum, it demonstrates these people - in the loosest sense of the word - are rulers. See the picture above; welcome to how European rulers rule over you.

Brian Wilson and Van Dyke Parks liked vegetables. My favorite thing about this song, besides the goofy sound, is the "Cart off and..." line, which is a pun on the German word for potato (Kartoffeln).
