I thought for sure that the leprechauns had hidden their pot of gold in DC.

I found the article, at The Lily, and found it quite vacuous.
Suburban white women fretting over who is less electable: Biden or Warren.
There is a pot of gold at the end of every rainbow!

Warren is Hillary v2.0. They can't let this go. She's unelectable for the same reason Hillary was.
The Democrat party is the party of women, men who think they're women, doddering old letches, and women who are friends with Democrat women who attend the same book club, love Oprah, but in the end will realize that their marriages and relationships with husbands so completely turned off by Hillary and now Hillary v2.0 are better worth preserving.
Watch. The Dems will put up another shrieking harpy v3.0 in 2024. And again in 2028. Any white swinging dick that actually likes their dick and doesn't act like a complete creep is no longer viable for the ticket.

Warren is just too dumb to win the election. I may wake up next November and eat these words but I doubt it. I mean, how can someone be dumb enough to publish a DNA test that proves she was 1,1024th of something after pretending she was 100% of?. Does she not understand math or percentages? That she doesn't have anyone in her entourage who can tell her when she's being dumb is another red flag.

What a ridiculous comment. Hillary came within a couple hundred thousand votes of winning. In fact, she would've beaten anyone but Trump. You're completely underestimating the Dead-head, stupid Democrat vote. About 45% of the country will vote for ANYBODY with a D after their names.

Yes, the actual article is vacuous in and of itself. However, it does indicate to me that some on the left really do recognize the problems Warren will have in the general election. This gives hope to Biden, and I suspect it why WaPo wanted you to read it.
It is going to be interesting to see what Warren does over the next few months as Iowa approaches. So far her campaign has been the most professional of the Democrats in the race, but she has held her fire on Biden to date. If he stays in and stays close in the polls, she may start targeting him directly (there is a lot of good ammo to use against him, too). Her big advantage right now is that all the other female candidates are gaining zero traction, so she will hold that ace card over Biden, Sanders, and the Seven Dwarfs.

Their last Presidential candidate had maybe 65,000 Paperwork Ac violationst, probably thousands of Espionage Act violations, was guilty of numerous instances for trading official favors for wads of cash, Obstruction of Justice for ordering the destruction of emails under Congressional subpoena, and no doubt, the Logan Act. And, after three years of trying, what they may have found for Trump was a Logan Act violation. The real question is whether she was the most corrupt major party Presidential nominee, or just over the last century. Thus, the almost desperate psychological projection.

Sunsong definitely is not Inga- a rare commenter these days, but definitely been here years by my memory. Smithee is closer in tone, and could be Inga. Need a larger sample size to be sure.
Thanks to the pointer provided by Wince at 8:38 I found the article. A group of five women, four Democrats and one self-described independent, got together to watch the Democrat debate. Some of them think that Warren’s too socialist to win. But the discussion basically is about how do they get a female president. My take is that they don’t give a damn about the policies pushed by the candidates, or whether they’d be a good President of the United States. A woman. Gotta have a woman. Well maybe Joe Biden for “electability.” (A guy who gets touchy-feely with underage girls is electable? Who knew?). But if not Sleepy Joe, then some woman, any woman, apparently. Well, any Democrat woman. Those dumb Republican women, who can understand any woman who’d go to a Trump rally, for gosh sakes.
But a point of information. The Virginia 7th Congressional District is not “purple.” In 2016 it went for Trump by a substantial margin. In 2017 it was not carried by any of the Democrat candidates for governor, lieutenant governor, or attorney general. In 2018 the a conservative Democrat (member of the Blue Dog Caucus) narrowly beat the incumbent Republican. If Abigail Spanberger votes for impeachment, I predict that she will be toast in November 2018.
If these five women would bother to understand why their neighbors vote the way they do, they might have a different take on the electability issue. But right now I’d have to say that they don’t get it. They won’t vote for conservative women (“not our kind, dear”) but expect conservative women to vote for liberal extremists due to female solidarity. Riiiiiiiight!
