“President Trump is trying to hijack this election. We cannot let him get away with it.”

Tweets Joe Biden, rather enigmatically.

I don’t know what he means. Do you?

I checked and rechecked to make sure this really was Joe Biden’s Twitter account. In fact, I’m going to go check again. Yes, it is.

How is Trump trying to hijack this election? If anything is threatening to hijack the election, it’s the Democrats veering suddenly into a high-speed impeachment maneuver, overshadowing the long, drawn-out primary process that is pretty boring but had nevertheless occupied the front pages of the news. Is it that Trump isn’t sitting still for getting impeached but insists on fighting?

Who writes Joe’s tweets? Is this actually him babbling and making no sense? That would be comprehensible (at least).

Maybe he means that the Ukraine phone call was an underhanded effort to get an advantage in the election and Biden wants us to imagine that Trump is doing other things as well, inviting foreign interference with our election. I’ll go with this theory, but come on, Joe, write tweets we can understand.

July 2019: Ukraine launched probe of military sale by fundraiser for Adam Schiff, written by J.E. Dyer and published yesterday by Liberty Unyielding.

The article includes these passages:

[quote]

... a Ukrainian-American arms merchant, Igor Pasternak, has held fundraising events for Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA). ... Pasternak’s company headquarters is in Montebello, California, on the east side of Los Angeles. It’s near Schiff’s CA-28 congressional district, which lies to the north of it and encompasses major suburbs like Burbank and a chunk of Glendale. Pasternak started the company in Ukraine in 1992, but immigrated to the U.S. in 1994 and established his California-based company, Aeros/Worldwide Aeros Corporation, shortly thereafter.

Aeros makes lighter-than-air (LTA) airships via its Aeroscraft arm. That is its ... its entrée to defense contracting. Aeros has had contracts with the U.S. Defense Department to develop surveillance airships and cargo-delivery airships. ...

When the Maidan Revolution erupted in Ukraine in late 2013 and early 2014, he went back to Ukraine and started cultivating ties with the defense industry there. At that point, as is obvious from the document announcing the 2013 fundraiser, Pasternak was already giving aid and comfort to Adam Schiff.

On 2 July 2019, the Kyiv Post reported that in spite of the change of government with the 2019 elections (which brought Volodymyr Zelensky in to replace Poroshenko), and many months of preparatory work, both before and after the presidential election, the long-sought independent audit [of the Ukrainian defense industry] had not yet even started. ...

Then, on 22 July 2019, Ukrainian media reported that the procurator for military investigations in the Ukrainian prosecutor-general’s office was probing the purchase by Ukraine of the Aeros border surveillance system. Adam Schiff’s sometime fundraiser found one of his two big projects in Ukraine under investigation for corruption: specifically, it appears, for an allegation that the system itself was not necessary for the procurement purpose; for an allegation that it had functionality problems; and for an allegation that the transaction involved embezzlement ...

We can suppose that this is a sensitive matter for Americans heavily invested in links with Ukraine. It would color how such persons saw any push from the president, especially a president from the opposing political party, for more robust investigations by Ukraine. It would be a reason to dislike or even fear such investigations. ...

It would have been on the minds of at least some Democrats when the “whistleblower” complaint was forwarded to Adam Schiff in the 12 August 2019 letter. And, of course, if some of them already knew the complaint was coming before that date, they had that information and the knowledge of the Aeros transaction probe in Ukraine. ...

The time-stamps on those developments – early July – certainly suggest an explanation for why the Trump administration put a hold on the military aid in early July ...

Here's the strategy the Clintons pioneered and then Biden adopted in part.

The book deals and speeches - paid for by Corporate America, foreign interests and colleges - are the easy money. Joe Biden spoke at the University of Nebraska at Omaha after he left office.

In foreign countries (other than in Europe) the politicians are known to be corrupt or are not elected. If the Chinese government gives Hunter Biden $1.5b in a corrupt deal they are not going to be voted out of office.

So, the way to play it is that it is known that the American pol will never be prosecuted in the foreign country because everyone is corrupt and the prosecutor is in on it. If the corruption comes to light in the USA, then scream that the other party is out to get you and stop you from winning an election.

The Clintons were much smarter about it with the Clinton Foundation set up by Bruce Lindsey. The deleted emails from Hillary's account show all the deals she struck with foreign governments. She was just stupid and cheap with how she had her insecure private server setup. She should have had Google or Facebook do it for her.

Finally, can anyone imagine Biden as Leader of the Free World? He's too damn dumb!

Impeachemnt Coup Analytics

"Aside from the emotional issue that Democrats, NeverTrumpers, and celebrities loathe Donald Trump, recently Representative Al Green (D-Texas) reminded us why the Democrats are trying to impeach the president rather than just defeat him in the 2020 general election.

“To defeat him at the polls would do history a disservice, would do our nation a disservice,” Green said. “I’m concerned that if we don’t impeach the president, he will get re-elected.”

Translated, that means Green accepts either that Trump’s record is too formidable or that the agendas of his own party’s presidential candidates are too frightening for the American people to elect one of them. And that possibility is simply not permissible. Thus, impeachment is the only mechanism left to abort an eight-year Trump presidency—on a purely partisan vote to preclude an election, and thus contrary to the outlines of impeachment as set out by the Constitution.

Consider it another way: Why is it that the House is controlled by Democrats, yet its leadership is not pushing through any of the policy proposals voiced so openly on the Democratic primary stage?

Why aren’t progressive representatives introducing bills to pay reparations to African Americans, to legalize infanticide in some cases of late-term abortion, to offer free medical care to illegal aliens, to confiscate AR-15s, to extend Medicare for all, to impose a wealth tax and raise top rates to between 70 and 90 percent, to abolish student debt and ensure free college for all, or to grant blanket amnesty to those currently living in the country illegally?"

The Federalist, Margot Cleveland. September 30, 2019

Did The Inspector General’s Office Help The ‘Whistleblower’ Try To Frame Trump?

[Answer -- from the timeline below, almost certainly yes.]

'...This Is Probably Why the Complaint Form Was Changed

'This backdrop also explodes the significance of the recent change in the ICIG “Urgent Concern Disclosure Form” that The Federalist’s Sean Davis exposed on Friday:

Intel Community Secretly Gutted Requirement Of First-Hand Whistleblower Knowledge

"...Reached by phone on Friday afternoon, a Director of National Intelligence official refused to comment on any questions about the secret revision to the whistleblower form, including when it was revised to eliminate the requirement of first-hand knowledge and for what reason."

https://thefederalist.com/2019/09/27/intel-community-secretly-gutted-requirement-of-first-hand-whistleblower-knowledge/

The prior form stated that “in order to find an urgent concern ‘credible,’ the IC IG must be in possession of reliable, first-hand information. The IC IG cannot transmit information via the ICWPA based on an employee’s second-hand knowledge of wrongdoing.” Then, significantly, the form noted: “If you think that wrongdoing took place, but can provide nothing more than second-hand or unsubstantiated assertions, IC IG will not be able to process the complaint or information for submission as an ICWPA.”'

"...the whistleblower’s complaint was dated August 12, 2019.

"...The markings on the [new form] state that it was revised in August 2019, but no specific date of revision is disclosed,”

The Disclosure of Urgent Concern [whistle blower] Form was changed to:

3. I know about the information I am disclosing here, and:

[Check box] I have direct and personal knowledge
[Check box] I have heard about it from others

[Dan Coats resigned as DNI JUly 28 and Dan Maguire, became Acting DNI August 19.]

'...the revised form was uploaded [to the Inspector General of the DNI's website] on September 24, 2019, at 4:25 p.m., just days before the anti-Trump complaint was declassified and released to the public.'

FOIA requests will probably be submitted to the DNI to get the so-far stonewalled answers to the simple questions: "Exactly who either made or approved the material changes to the whistle blower form, and WHEN did they do it?"

So continued lying on the part of the president is the only way Trump fights? Neither Trump nor his supporters have addressed the election law violations and blatant bribery of the Ukrainian comedian addressed in the whistleblower complaint and surprisingly confirmed by the summary information provided by Trump's people. Lots of innuendo and personal threats, but nothing that holds any water.

Declare the Intelligence IG to be part of the "deep state" plot against Trump for changing the whistleblower form to permit second hand sources. Wrong - since last years form did so also. But read the fake news in The Federalist.

Arrest Adam Schiff for treason says Trump because what the Congressman said in the House hearing wasn't even close to what the president said on the telephone - but no one knows for sure what was said because Trump did not release the word-for-word transcript which is remarkably hidden away in a super-secret server.

And Trump continues to attempt to attack the Bidens when there simply are no facts which to link Joe Biden to an illegal act. As for Biden's son, his job in the Ukrainian gas company likely come because of his famous last name. This is far less suspicious than Ivanka's sudden Chinese patents and Jared's windfall investments from foreigners in his 666 Fifth Avenue over-mortgaged property.

That’s a very straightforward tweet. Trump is trying to make the election about Biden (and Obama) record of dealings with Ukraine, Russia, etc. This is the context in which we are to understand anything emanating from Burr too—politicized indictments meant to hijack the election by focusing attention away from where Dems want it.

Anyone who still believes that the NYT is a real newspaper, and that means they are helpful to you understanding of things, needs to read this. They described in 2016 what the Democrats are doing today perfectly and had great disdain for it when they expected the GOP to do the same to Hillary. Now they think that strategy is awesome. They are complete hacks. You might as well subscribe to Adam Shifty's newsletter for "information".

"Most Americans will not read beyond the headlines. What they have learned, courtesy of the newest attacks on President Trump, is that good old Joe Biden, the likeable and loyal Obama sidekick who somehow has not secured the former president’s endorsement, cannot be trusted.

Voters will experience a whiff of déjà vu, remembering that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s clan also profited mightily from her position in the Obama administration. They may recall that, according to The New York Times, "While the State Department was involved in securing a uranium mining deal with Russia, investors in the company involved in the deal, Uranium One, gave millions to the Clinton Foundation."

The NYT report added, "Shortly after the Russians announced their intention to acquire a majority stake in Uranium One, Mr. Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock."

Voters rejected Clinton for many reasons in 2016, but one of the most enduring throughout her run was that people didn’t trust her. On the cusp of the Democratic nomination, a CNN poll found that 68 percent of the country didn’t think she was "honest and trustworthy." Despite being awarded innumerable "Pinocchios" on the campaign trail, Trump’s score on that front was much better than Hillary's."

Because in a guided democracy, The People rule! Unless We Who Know Better determine they might make a mistake, and Something Must Be Done.

Trump is hijacking the election by doing his job.

The Ukraine and the United States have a diplomatic relationship. It was signed in the 1990s under President Bill Clinton. Trump knew of the Biden’s wrongdoings. He had an obligation to bring it to Zelensky’s attention. If he didn’t, he’d be in violation of the bilateral agreement.

And Trump, having sworn to uphold the Constitution and it's laws, is quite within his authority to tell other countries of possible wrongdoing so the other counties can undertake investigations and if wrong doing is found, arrest the violators and try them in their courts.

It does not matter if the ones under suspicion are running for president. To allow those running for office to have a free pass to wrong doing would just open the doors to more corruption. Thus Biden and Son are under suspicion.

And that, to Biden (the untouchable), is hijacking the election!

The significance of the boasting is reason enough to investigate the veracity of Biden's comments, no?

Biden stands exposed as a crook or a foolish braggart, or both, by his own words and his campaign ought to be toast either way.

I puts the Ukrainians in an awkward position though. It is not diplomatic to speak in public about such matters regarding the vice=president of the United States, especially when you are a client nation.

Nope. Key point is that whistle blower claims first hand knowledge not related to Ukraine phone call. Things not yet divulged

The Complainant on the form he or she submitted on August 12, 2019 in fact checked two relevant boxes: The first box stated that, “I have personal and/or direct knowledge of events or records involved”; and the second box stated that, “Other employees have told me about events or records involved.”

In short, the ICIG did not find that the Complainant could “provide nothing more than second-hand or unsubstantiated assertions,” which would have made it much harder, and significantly less likely, for the Inspector General to determine in a 14-calendar day review period that the complaint “appeared credible,” as required by statute. Therefore, although the Complainant’s Letter acknowledged that the Complainant was not a direct witness to the President’s July 25, 2019, telephone call with the Ukrainian President, the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community determined that other information obtained during the ICIG’s preliminary review supported the Complainant’s allegations.

Reports are that Mifsud's lawyer has already provided confirmation Mifsud was a western asset (which is basically a "duh" item but was meant to remain hidden in the Weissman/Mueller frame up) not a Russian asset.

That fact alone demolishes the entirety of the Papadopolous setup story of the lefties.

Speaking of intricate schemes, Look at this one.

If Chris Steele suddenly walked away from the dossier, and/or admitted publicly the dossier was political opposition research primarily from Glenn Simpson and Nellie Ohr, the FBI would have a shit-storm on it’s hands…. and they needed to evaluate the position of Steele. Steele could be a risk if he was not supporting the team playbook. That’s the driving purpose behind all of this “re-engagement” with Steele through Bruce Ohr.

The small group in the DOJ and FBI planned to continue, pass-off and modify the Trump investigation by shifting it to a special counsel. The centerpiece of that investigation would be using the dossier as justification for a need to investigate Trump as a Russian risk. The DOJ/FBI small group needed Glenn Simpson and Chris Steele to stand by the false narrative all of the players had assembled over the prior year.

The wildcard to retain the false story was Chris Steele… Steele was an outside participant, albeit aligned with the ideology and the purpose. Evaluating Steele’s willful participation in keeping the narrative as assembled was the reason for their urgent talks; however, the “small group” couldn’t run the risk of direct talks in the same way that Mark Warner couldn’t risk of a paper trail.

Adam Waldman and Dan Jones were facilitating a plausibly deniable information pipeline from Chris Steele to Senator Mark Warner. Bruce Ohr was facilitating a plausibly deniable information pipeline from Chris Steele to the FBI/DOJ small group. The purposes were the same, everyone needed assurances Steele wasn’t going to back-out.

Lots of new stuff coming with the usual extensive redactions that might not stand up.

This may be a do or die thing for Democrats the next 6 months.

The media has constructed a narrative that any investigation that does not center on removing Trump from office or helps Trump is de facto illegal and impeachable.

Scary.

Such a dishonest parsing of debate.

The Statute does not go into detail. The agencies involved write the protocols to achieve the goal of the statute. (the whole Chevron, thing ring any bells?)
In this case, the requirment for "credible and urgent" was first hand knowledge. As established by the IC, not statute language.
The credible and urgent, classification is important because that classification by congressional statute, requires the notification to congress. Lesser WB complaints may not rise to the level of required congressional notification.
In this particular hoax, those persons with first hand knowledge (no one is asking why those that know, refused to file their own WB complaint. Odd? No?) would have filed a WB complaint with the FBI or DoJ. Not tripping the wire for congressional notification. It had to get to the ICIG, and the threshold had to be lowered to achieve "credible and urgent classification, triggering congressional notification.

A lot of dominoes had to get lined up for this hoax to create the appearance of impropriety, that the dems and media could blow up to a faux impeachment investigation.

That depends. If you're a Democrat president you can use any resources you and your team can dream up, from foreign spooks to domestic flying monkeys.

If you're a Republican President you are de facto illegitimate, and you can't do anything but lose gracefully.
