There was recent interest in Kyrsten Sinema's senatorial actions, so is pertinent to point out that she is currently co-sponsoring a bill with Senator Martha McSally along with GOP Congressman Paul Gosar to curb waste, fraud and abuse in the Western Area Power Administration. I'm happy to see Arizonans of both parties working together for common sense legislation and, though I voted against her, am so far very happy with Ms. Sinema as my senator.

I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore

I assume the global climate strike is high school students withholding sex.

That first pic looks like a good fishing spot.

The song I was hearing on my AirPods at the moment I was taking the photographs was "Moonshadow."

And if I ever lose my eyes
If my colors all run dry
Yes if I ever lose my eyes
Oh if.... I won’t have to cry no more

The first picture includes the Wisconsin capitol building.

You tell me, is it satire?

Yeah, I'm wondering... should I go downtown and get a look at what the student strike is like here in Madison?

I don't like taking pictures of kids... I don't like talking about them.

Sinema is positioning herself as the goto Democrat after the party self destructs next year.

A sort of Tony Blair type. It will be interesting to watch.

Especially if Trump takes the popular vote and the NPV states go berserk.

Especially those over 40 years old.

Michael K: Especially if Trump takes the popular vote and the NPV states go berserk.

They won't go berserk unless he wins the NPV and also loses the EC, because that's what they're trying to avoid.

They support the NPV over the EC because they believe it's numerical implausible for a Republican to win the NPV while losing the EC, but not so much for a Democrat to do so. And they're probably right, given that Democratic voters tend to aggregate themselves in large-population states.

Lots of color in those photos. Dark colors. Fall colors. The colors of foreboding.

What are those kids striking about and why should anyone care what kids think or say?

You might have missed my point. The NPV states did that so that Trump could NOT get their EC votes. Now, even if he does not get the majority of CA votes, he still gets their EC votes.

Another torpedo circling.

I think it is ok for people who need to defend themselves to do so with the same tools the Department of Defense uses to protect our country. Our professional defenders spend lots of time and money researching how to defend.

Let's use that government-funded research for the good of every citizen. Funding research through government is something we do together.

I think from now on when the US Army chooses a rifle or sidearm for defensive purposes I will buy one, too.

The afternoon has turned distressingly humid. "I want a 70 dewpoint in September" said no one ever.
