From Snopes:

Fonda also proposed harassing and intimidating families and children of federal agents involved in immigration law enforcement in two tweets which have also since been deleted, but the authenticity of which have also been corroborated. Fonda has not acknowledged or apologized for those.

I read the leaked transcript of the meeting at the NYT in which the editor explained that Russia collusion was out and racism by Trump supporters was in. Trump supporters are no longer commie tools, they are racists - that he said will be the news from now on till the election. I wonder if that will work or if there will be a Weinstein Twist. I mean that Trump was accused and accused of sexism and then suddenly one day it twisted around and it was shown that Weinstein was guilty of massive abuses against women which were covered up those busy accusing Trump of anything they happened to think while they were having their hair done. Similarly, the Dems and the NYT are going to start talking about racism by Trump and his supporters. In the context of blaming Trump (who just got into politics) and all his (rural) supporters, the Dem/NYT complex plans to talk and talk about the difficult conditions under which African-Americans live. But millions upon millions of African-Americans live in Democrat-controlled rat-infested areas of big cities. Schools terrible. Jobs sent to China. Business unwelcome. Death tolls like the Iraq war from shooting and drugs. Who is to say that the African-Americans won't quite suddenly notice that it is Democrats who have created the difficult conditions which the Dems keep talking about? and - key point - what if the African-Americans themselves who keep voting for the Do-Nothing-Democrats like Elijah Cummings. just. stop. doing. it. ?

While Trump had almost 12,000 attendees in the arena in New Hampshire with an additional estimated crowd of 8k to 9k who couldnt get in, Biden, already on a very short botoxed-leash, drew about 30 down the street on the same night.

The "good" news for Biden? That 30 is still 10x more than LLR Chuck's hero Justin Amash can draw in his own district!!

And lets face it: Amash's 3 attendees are his parents and his wife only. The kids didnt feel like going and besides Amash ChiCom handlers didnt pay for any kid friendly food at the small card table sized reception "buffet".

I think that the verdict there was preordained. There are essentially two alternative explanations here, either bureaucratic incompetence or a criminal conspiracy. A bureaucracy will pick the bureaucratic incompetence alternative every day, if given half a choice. The possibility of a criminal conspiracy will have the FBI (ha) nosing around everyone’s financials, interrogating everyone, checking phone calls, etc. No one on the inside wants that. With bureaucratic incompetence, they can put a lot of the blame on insufficient funding. If Congress had sufficiently funded the agency, then everyone wouldn’t be working double shifts, while others just don’t show up. And more money is supposed to solve any bureaucratic problem. Never let a good crisis go to waste, and that means that we can pretty well guarantee that the BoP’s incompetence (or criminality) will be leveraged into a request for more money. A lot more money.

And with 35k employees, and well over a century of existence, the BoP is a big, old, bureaucracy.

“Fonda had daddy issues”

His sister, Hanoi Jane, has made that claim for years. She blames her father’s coldness to her for her multiple marriages, doing nude scenes in movies, etc. and it makes sense to me. Their father was a great actor, better than either of them. Part of his strength as an actor was in playing emotionally rigid parts. There may be some emotion to his characters, but for the most part, it is rigidly controlled. And that rigid control over his emotions makes him emotionally vulnerable. Very similar, it seems to reality.

Of all of the Fonda actors, my favorites, by far, are the father, Henry, and his grandaughter, Peter’s daughter, Bridget.

True. He's come a long, long way on the Russia Hoax issue. On the other hand, he had to be dragged to the truth kicking and screaming. It makes you wonder about his judgment. You do have to admire his integrity in, in effect, admitting he was wrong.

"I read the leaked transcript of the meeting at the NYT in which the editor explained that Russia collusion was out and racism by Trump supporters was in."

Steve Sailer has a nice discussion of that.

In addition, Sailer has some more details on what the NYT is apparently calling "Project 1619", wherein they will remind you, every single day, in every single story, that America is a racist country born in racist sin, and that you are a racist, racist.

Especially about the corrupt & lawless DoJ people he once worked with and then excused.

Fernandinande said...

that America is a racist country

"America" is two continents, not a country. The NYT is trying to blame the US for the actions of Europeans before the US existed.

Luckily the NYT's "big lie" about their pet project is obvious to the non-stupid, e.g. not their readers:

The 1619 Project is a major initiative from The New York Times observing the 400th anniversary of the beginning of American slavery."

American slavery had been going on for thousands of years before Europeans got to "the Americas". Kinda like the rest of the world.
