Ann: you appear to visit reddit from time to time. Have you ever wandered into r/TwoXChromosomes? A "female" subreddit. Its an interesting window into the minds of pre-teen/teenage/twenty-something modern females. Simply reviewing post titles is intriguing although I can't decide if I should laugh cry in despair at some of them. If you are casting about for a post subject, check it out.
Here is my slightly-off topic Harry Potter theory, for those of you who are familiar with the story. Harry Potter at the beginning of the tale, starts out living under the stairs at his abusive aunt and uncle's house. He is starving, unkempt, and wearing rags. My theory is that he never really does get out from beneath the stairs. The whole series of books and films are really just his ever-increasingly delusional mind building a mental escape hatch for him. He's suddenly rich, has loving parents, the greatest of friends, gets to eat as much as he likes, is a hero, a star athlete, and famous. As he gets closer to actually starving to death his fantasies become ever more fanciful and outlandish. He saves his fantasy world as he dies. Uplifting.
You probably need the "the" in there, and - to kill the joke through analysis - something abstract to make concrete or something mundane to make magical.
I haven't and don't intend to read the books so I don't know whether or not your premise is accurate, but if so that's a damn fine theory. OTOH, it's fairly obvious. Who else has suggested same, or do you believe your theory is original?
CWJ my theory is just an intentional misunderstanding, to troll my excessively fannish Harry Potter friends. It fits the observations well but is clearly incorrect. Not wholly original, either.

John Rawls' book cannot be made good.
Possible his writing could be made not dreadful.
That's amusing. I guess I'm going to have to get on Reddit so I can keep up.

It doesn't work so well with politicians' books:
Harry Potter and Dreams From My Father
Harry Potter and the Audacity of Hope
Harry Potter and a Charge to Keep
Harry Potter and Profiles in Courage
Harry Potter and Hard Choices
Harry Potter and Madam Secretary
Harry Potter and My Beloved World

Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings and the Return of the King - now that's something I would read!
"You can also combine Harry Potter with PornHub descriptions for merriment."
Harry Potter and the Humiliatrix of Ghent?
Harry Potter and the Girls of Kent State?
I understand Laslo’s reticence though. The really funny ones you can’t write out of respect for the blog.
