"... real deep color. And I kinda go in here at the bottom..."

Didn't see that one coming... from r/youseeingthisshit

ADDED: The debunking.

AND: What gives it away as fake is how badly she strokes the lipstick on the lower lip before the shaking begins. You put lipstick on more carefully than that. But she knows the shaking is about to occur and she's already putting the lipstick on badly when the shaking begins. This may be in part because she can't act normal knowing the abnormality is about to hit, but I think it's more because she knows she needs to be pressing the lipstick hard against her mouth so she'll produce the comical smear across the cheek (and not have her hand shake loose and not leave a mark).

Good thing that it wasn't a man shaving with a straight razor.

A bunch of gas stations in town have been converted to "Speedway" brand, and I'm too stupid to figure out how to buy gas because the pumps are too fancy ("Oh, we just have to re-set it. A few more times!" I eventually leave. 2 of 2 times so far).

While looking up the experience of others (for personal validation!), I found this amusing fake news from NBC:

"Watered Down Gas Is Way More Common Than You May Think"

Besides not knowing how common you may think watered down gas is, authorette Nicole Spector provides funny statistics about gas but never gets around to saying how common watered down gas is. "Way more common"!

"Water leaking into gas accounted for the most violations in Georgia, at 20.7 percent, while more than 1 in 10 violations involved faulty discharge, and nearly one-third of all pump leaks occurred with regular-grade gasoline."

20.7% of how many violations? Etc.

And! "Nearly one-third of all" gas pumps are "regular-grade". Snarf.

Click bait for Gen Z's climactic climate change begins with bad acting. But a little bit of lipstick makes the medicine go down . . .

That's life in Cali. And parts of Nevada.

A lot of airplanes going down in the 20s were from "watered gas." They'd find water in the carburetor. They added carburetor heat settings and the problem went away. Ice from humidity would form in the reduced pressure and stop the fuel flow. Unfortunately heating the intake air also reduced performance, so it's only used at times it's likely to be needed, like at low power settings.

I live in Southern California and that looked fake. I've been in at least 4 major quakes, starting with the Sylmar quake in 1971. Fake fake fake

Why is she videotaping herself putting on makeup? And isn't that a vanity mirror behind her where she would normally apply makeup?

There’s a scene in “Airplane” much like that.

Watered down gas? water is a polar molecule, immiscible in a hydrocarbon. By the density difference alone the water would settle to the bottom of the tank. Condensation is another problem made worse by the high freezing point (relatively) of water. If I remember, the freezing point of octane is less that -50 degF.

Carburetor icing is caused by humidity condensing, then freezing. AOPA - Carburetor Icing.

Basically true until they started adding ethanol to gas, although a minuscule amount of water will dissolve in pure gas. Ethanol allows a small amount of water to dissolve into the gasohol. Add more water, and an ethanol/water phase separates out in much larger volume.

I once had to drain a 60 gallon boat tank to get rid of the resulting mess. I'm not a fan of gasohol.

My thoughts exactly.

First problem was, the earthquake didn't last long enough.

My second problem with it was the lipstick smear across her cheek. Way too fake.

Though I've never been through a real earthquake (just minor tremors at worst), I immediately smelled a rat watching that video due to the lamp on the right. With that much motion, the only way that lamp wouldn't have hit the floor is if it was actually bolted down to the table it was on. Keep your eye on that lamp as you watch the video - totally fake. Other than in an actual mobile home, I've never heard of anyone actually bolting down a lamp.
