These would be high value targets. As in VERY high value targets for espionage, and to this day I cannot comprehend how stupid the Democrats in general and Clintons in particular had to be not realize that. Maybe if someone hinted that the RNC was trying to hack their servers they'd have emphasized security more?

BTW, I understand that RNC was also a target, but the RNC has grownups in charge so -- to our knowledge! -- none of the attacks were successful.

As regards the DNC and Clinton servers, some hackers may have been less capable of covering their tracks than others, or perhaps they didn't bother covering their tracks as a big FU to the US government. Who knows? But it couldn't possibly have been Russia OR China. The Trump rally crowd was mostly white, which is a minority where I live. The venue had us walk through a mob of jeering and cursing protesters to get into the arena. I thought I would give a listen.

Trump's speech was rambling, funny, unedited and sometimes BS. He addressed topics of interest to me and I thought his instincts were right about American citizens. My wife and close friends have good instincts, so I gave him the some of the benefits of thought.

The people there loved it, laughing, joking, having a regular good time. I thought the whole thing bazaar, but I loved the people and enjoyed by first political speech.; 6/18/19, 10:31 PM

I am not "obsessed on race." I just don't want to see my country transformed into Latin America.

As for Iran, they are not a revolutionary power. They are a status quo power primarily concerned with self-preservation. The comparisons to 19th century France or 20th century Russia are ridiculous. Both were major powers. Iran is a weak and impoverished country that can barely project military force outside of its borders. Compare the behavior of Iran to that of our good buddies the Saudis. The KSA has waged a cruel and brutal war against Yemen for the last four years in which it has given US-provided weapons to Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, has attempted to diplomatically isolate Qatar to force it to submit, and waged war against Assad by funding and supporting radical Salafi groups, which helped give rise to ISIS.; 6/19/19, 8:53 AM
