It’s interesting how the news cycle has dropped all mention of the SOTU. I expected to see dozens of breathless speculations. About the content, the reactions, reactions to reactions, ad nauseum. But nothing. This is the first SOTU I can remember that I’m actually looking forward to.

I liked how LLR Chuck poked his little Brian Stelter-like nose out of his little Soros-hovel on the Northam thread in a half-hearted attempt to change the subject away from the lunacy of his democrat allies.

Too too funny.

"With those violet eyes, Elizarat Taylor."

Fun fact: Liz Taylor's Continental Mark II was allegedly painted a custom color to match her eyes.

Elizabeth Taylor's 1956 Continental Mark II.

Word on the street is that there is a video of Gov Northam (Recently Identified as a republican from Virginia by LLR Chuck's beloved CNN) performing a skit that is quite derogatory towards the French.

The lefties won't like that, believing as they do that the French are Gaia's Chosen People.

Apparently, the video shows Northam dancing in a raspberry beret. You know, like the kind you find at a second hand store. Further, it's apparently quite warm in the video and other than that beret, Northam isn't wearing much more.

Rockville Maryland. February 1, 2019

Phoenix Pick recently announced that, working with the Heinlein Prize Trust, they have been able to reconstruct the complete text of an unpublished novel written by Robert A. Heinlein in the early eighties.

Heinlein wrote this as an alternate text for “The Number of the Beast.” This text of approximately 185,000 words largely mirrors the first one-third of the published version, but then deviates completely with an entirely different story-line and ending.

This newly reconstructed text also pays extensive homage to two authors Heinlein himself admired: Edgar Rice Burroughs and E. E. “Doc” Smith, who became a good friend. Heinlein dedicated his book “Methuselah’s Children” to Smith, and partially dedicated “Friday” to Smith’s daughter, Verna.

The alternate text, especially the ending, is much more in line with more traditional Heinlein books, and moves away from many of the controversial aspects of the published version.

There has been speculation over the years about a possible alternate text, and the reason it was written, particularly since one version is not just a redo of the other ─ these are two completely different books.

It is possible that Heinlein was having fun with the text as “The Number of the Beast” and the new book both deal with parallel universes. Given his sense of humor, it would not be surprising for Heinlein to have written two parallel texts for a book about parallel universes.

I still think a "Fried Chicken Summit" at Popeyes would be a good way to hash out some of these awkward disputes. Who doesn't like fried chicken? All races, creeds and colors like fried chicken. And Popeye's is pretty cheap - a cost effective way to bridge the racial divide.

I see that an outfit named "Big League Politics" is the one that found and released the yearbook photo of Northam. Here is how they describe themselves:

"Big League Politics is a fast-paced news site led by a team of top-level investigative reporters, filmmakers, and citizen journalists all over the country. We challenge powerful politicians in both the Republican and Democratic Parties. We are not conservative. We are not liberal."

The timing of this photo find and release is quite curious to me. He was elected late in 2017, why release this now? Who benefits from the release of the photo?

There is no way - no way - Trump wins in 2020.

The media is fully backing Warren, Harris, Klobuchar, etc.

See no one is asking Warren to resign for using Native American ties for getting to Harvard. Just like they are asking Northam to resign.
Harris cannot be asked to resign for using Willie Brown for career start in CA.

Media will come for Trump with loaded barrels. It will be like Christmas.

Cheers

Whether the Democrats succeed in going to "single payer," i.e, the Gov't takes over the business itself and shuts out the private insurance companies, or the insurance companies remain in business, but are all made to dance to the Gov't music, i.e., they become "tax farmers for the Gov't, seems to be a distinction without much of a difference.

Either way, the medical industries will all be paid as directed by the Gov't, and Murphy's Golden Rule - he who controls the gold rules - applies.

I would like to see more discussion about what effect this will have on medical services.

I think any kind of a personal relationship between doctor and patient will be gone. It won't be just "VA for all," but probably more like "you're in the Army now" for doctors and patients alike.

just do the math!
a demo governor doesn't just come out in favor of post birth abortions; he casually States that He has signed off on quite a few. Outroar and Outrage result

Next: the post birth abortion bill has to be tabled to the Outroar and Outrage
Next:
A) Someone MUST BE PUNISHED for the failure of this bill
B) Attention MUST BE DIVERTED from the fact of post birth abortions being REGULARLY Performed

So,
C) "facts" and "photos" are produced that DESTROY the governor; having Nothing to do with post birth abortions

And yet how many people fell for the “Northam is toast” line?

No, Lucy is always going to pull that football away. The football being one standard of behaviors for everyone. Keep pasting Alinsky’s rules. The left has no intention of following them.

Yes there will be strategic cries for accountability. Harris and others must keep up appearances so the con can continue. But other than people who aren’t truly in on it, and mistakenly try to follow the “rules” (Franken), it’s all name calling and escalating mob violence that needs to be called out for what it is: a naked power grab that will no longer be accommodated.

It’s only when people stop playing a rigged game they can stop losing.

Hasn’t the national discourse shifted from legalizing infanticide to whether the Governor of Virginia can moonwalk?

Hagar said...

For the State of the Union response, I think Nancy "I'll give him a dollar for his fence" Pelosi should be required to give the response herself.

If she and Trump are equals, that would be more fitting than hiding behind a woman almost anyone outside Georgia has never heard of.

Exactly, Kevin. The Left would rather join the outrage about racism than debate the abortion issue, even at the expense of their own candidate. To the left, perceived racism is more immoral and less defensible than infanticide.

Furthermore, Edward E Smith rewrote many of his earlier Works, to adjust the chronology and backsplain stuff . Like the prehistoric machinations of Arisia and Eddore. In the serial it was not revealed that Gray Roger was not human.

In my opinion if he had instantly swiveled away from the platform and perform the dance adequately, the story would have died. They would have made him a laughingstock for the video of the moonwalk or the one still where he looks the worst, but it would have been a harmless sort of fun.

In some sense it would have been cool. But perhaps his wife feared that it would be used to make him look bad. Or of course that he can do no such thing. Or that he fails by even considering the question.

I had wondered which one in the photo he was. I found the KKK costume extremely convincing as if they had access to the real thing at least for a model, or someone could tell them or get for them exactly what they needed. Those costumes are both perfect.

I wonder whether any photo analysis science can identify them. Some 4chan type is hopefully banging away at this one handed on his keyboard. They could do a deepfake pr0n of it, with known actors (a prime role or too political?). or amateurs and keep everybody more or less masked, although new bodies would always improve the chance of ID with a birthmark or tattoo.

Just imagine this being satirized with a skin dyed actor and a little Southern belle type a head shorter just waiting to be ravaged Mandingo style. They have gone out to a costume minstrel ball, have had adventures, and noe have arrives home. With an older trim looking guy looking not unlike the governor or maybe a cross between him and Mitt Romney, some here might like that better. Or a random young studly guy made up or naturally resembling him. Or perhaps Northam has characteristic mannerisms which would put the performance across . Even on a deepfake, I bet a wacko like Northam has made enough public weird facial expressions to be convincing as the throes of ecstasy, well spliced in.

Rules? Alinsky number 4, meet 4chan number 34: all events in life, all stories can be satirized or recast as pr0n.
