From WSJ: Tax reform arrived in 2018, removing the roadblock of the highest corporate tax rate in the world and inviting companies to repatriate profits held abroad. Investment picked up almost exactly as chief White House economist Kevin Hassett predicted it would. He predicted growth for the year would rise by 3.1% in 2018 on a fourth-quarter to fourth-quarter basis, and growth came in exactly at 3.1%.

Mr. Hassett made these predictions in the heat of the 2017 tax reform debate and was ridiculed by progressive economists. One quote that doesn’t age well came from Larry Summers, the former Barack Obama adviser, who wrote in the Washington Post that tax reform would make no difference unless “you believe in tooth fairies and ludicrous supply-side economics.”

When Mr. Hassett pushed back to defend the tax proposal, Mr. Summers said, “I am proudly guilty of asserting that it is some combination of dishonest, incompetent and absurd.”

Looks like Inga's beautiful beautiful Boy Prince Justin Trudeau, as of this afternoon, is history.

"Why?" you might find yourself asking.

Well, Inga's Next Real Leader Of The Free World has been exposed by his very own former Attorney General!

Justin personally intervened with the AG to stop a criminal investigation into the actions of a crony corporation. Not only that, Li'l Justin got other members of his administration to pressure the AG to stop the criminal investigation as well!

We are talking 20+ attempts by Trudeau and 11 members of his staff to stop a criminal investigation by pressuring the AG!

And just today, Trudeau's right hand man resigned.

The former AG gave 4 hours of open testimony where she laid out who contacted her when, how and for what purpose.

She named names and times and places in a way that is irrefutable.

Tsk tsk

The Curse Of The Inga Designation As Real Leader Of The Free World continues....and there appears to be no cure.......

Growing up in the bottoms along the Rock River in southern Wisconsin, rats were an everyday part of life. They were abundant in the roots and snags along the banks of the river. They were also common in the barns of the farms near us.

I hated them. They were dirty, disease ridden and ugly along with being dangerous in close quarters. Our dogs hated them and when the opportunity presented itself they made short order of them. The barn rats were susceptible to .22 short rounds fired by 10 year old boys.

Growing up in the 1920's my father shot barn rats for a nickel bounty for each rat. The rats were considered a public health problem. The bounty was paid for the tails. A local Judge paid out the bounty and buried the tails in his garden. Dad would sneak out at night and dig up the buried tails and "cover his tracks". After rinsing the tails with water Dad would collect a second bounty the next day.

I don't find rats trendy.

Inga: "Benjamin Netanyahu indicted on corruption charges."

And what precisely are those charges Inga?

3 BS "charges" 6 weeks out from the election after sitting on this nonsense for months.

Charges could have been brought months ago...but the Israeli lefties have learned quite a bit from their American lefty pals, as Ted Stevens and Tom Delay could tell you.

None of these charges will survive even the first court challenge. But that's the point isn't it? The Court won't hear the cases until after the election....

think of this as a Dan Rather National Guard hoax hit job just weeks before the election.

On top of the lefties in the EU/Britain overturning movements in Denmark, Belgium and now the UK, along with the deep EU staters trying to pull shenanigans to keep the duly elected conservative Prime Minister of Italy out of office (until the public rose up in outrage), we see a pattern across the entirety of the western world where the lefties are flexing their muscles and establishing the conditions for permanent far left/deep state control and woe to any politician who opposes them.

For sweet relief watch the testimony of the former Attorney-General of Canada, who was shuffled out of her position because she would not interfere in a prosecution of some huge corporation up there, a prosecution which Justin Trudeau wanted revoked or, as they put it, postponed. She documents the pressure coming from Trudeau leading up to her being shuffled out her position and then gives a beautiful short explanation of why she feels an obligation to maintain the rule of law. It was so great watching a woman who was not disgracing herself, a lawyer who wanted the rule of law and an Attorney General who would not bend to political pressure. There were hours of questions but her statement was only about twenty-nine minutes long. It was like hearing spring rain.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fC4v2OLgYQo. She begins about ten minutes in.

If you actually look into it the charges are complete garbage.

Just like the bullshit they are pushing against Trump. But yeah Trump paying hookers to pee on a bed Obama slept in is totally plausible to Inga so she will buy any bullshit on Netanyahu.

Because she is a stupid tool.

What do Trump and Netanyahu have in common? They are fighting the douchebag globalists and serving their people.

Inga and her friends want to destroy Israel, because people have freedom there unlike her favored Iran, so naturally they are going after the leaders that defend it.

It goes along with wishing the economy was worse so democrats could do better. Or republicans who get shot now have a chance to reconsider their stance on the 2nd amendment.

Just simply terrible people.

A coworker friend that is quite liberal brought up the recent political news, in particular the Cohen testimony from the other day. He is disgusted by that show and the antics of the Democrats. His biggest complaint is that it is such a waste of time and not at all focused on addressing the real issues facing our nation. "Trump supporters suspect this flood is happening because by becoming a campaigner, the corrupt politicians think they will be protected from future prosecution"

I suggest an alternative explanation. Given the flood of announced candidates, the chance of winning the nomination is slim. However, if one can raise a couple of million dollars, spend only 50% of the money raised on the campaign to show good faith, then have to drop out, there is really no reason to suspect fraud. However, one has just made a couple of million dollars since leftover campaign funds are available to the candidate! Such a deal!

Reminds me of the movie "The Producers", where failure makes them lots of money.

Here's another alternative explanation: they saw how the great number of candidates helped Trump win the nomination and are attempting to replicate his winning approach.
