If Bernie Sanders wanted it enough he could use a nick name like Robert Francis O'Rourke did. Bernie could go for the black vote by using Sambo Sanders. There's a fried chicken angle in there some place.

I suspect the real notion of a Beto campaign isn't for him to be the top of the ticket, but to put on a showing to get a VP gig and, in the eyes of Democrat donors, win Texas for them.
And such an impressive resume, too.
Don't know about anybody else, but I'm going to try to scrub that nickname from my vocabulary. If Bobby was good enough for his college days, it's good enough for me. And it's "Kennedy-esque," isn't it?
