Because the point was made so carefully, it is all but certain that the Russian Bots were actually the creation of the project- for example, the article's writer could have asked Morgan this specific question, and I have to assume the question was asked and Morgan refused to answer it. He admits to lying to his boss, who received demands from both political parties to fire Comey.
