This John Kelly replacement candidate, Nick Ayers, looks so much like a young Donald Trump.

I'm looking at "Top Pence aide resurfaces as leading candidate to replace John Kelly/Nick Ayers, Pence’s chief of staff, was initially seen as a potential Kelly successor this summer" (Politico). I can see what Trump sees in him:

If you haven’t already, dial up some youtube vids of self-deprecating young Trump with David Letterman in the mid-eighties. It’s like a different person.

Half-Windsor v. Full Windsor. A significant difference. I can't believe you missed it!!

Hey girl!

Ayers's shirt collar is too big. That really looks sloppy.

And if you see the bigger picture at the Politico link, you'll see his suit jacket isn't properly sized.

Both white?

Wait!?! Did I say significant? I meant YUGE!

Another Althouse joke falls flat in the age of That’s Not Funny.....

Hardly know how to say this, but -- young Trump's hair is better.

His shirt offends you, as does his suit jacket. You’re not normallly this superficial, Althouse. Myself, I wish he had more experience because it’s a tough job and I don’t imagine Trump’s personality makes it any easier.

And can someone please confirm that he’s no relation to William Ayers, of Chicago.

Both look like douche-knozzles, but Ayer's looks to be completely devoid of mirth. Maybe he is Hillary-Trump love child.

I hope Kelly stays.

Looks like someone put 40-year-old Trump through the Audrey Hepburn perfection software.

No he doesn't, but don't let me get in the way of whatever wets your vibrator.

Doesn't look anything close. Must have been a person of color who wrote that.

MSM is recycling the rumor that Kelly is leaving again. That is about the 5th time now. Maybe they will right this time.

Oh yea, the blonde, evil, selfish ivy league frat-rapist Reagan Republican stereotype out of 1980s Hollywood central casting.

The "big bang" theory of social progress: Diversity is whitish. However, upon closer inspection, it's colorful... judgments.

What's with all the collars I'm seeing on TV that lay out with the front edges in a horizontal line across, not peaked over the knot. Is it a new style?

No he looks like Alan tudyk wash from firefly.

He's got a dimpled chin. That drives women crazy. After leaving the White House, he can move to Texas and run for Cruz's seat.

I hope Kelly doesn't leave. The White House seemed a lot more chaotic before he showed up. He really smoother operations there. But if he leaves is it because he wants to go, or because Trump wants him to go?

Althouse, we have seen that PDJT's people tend to "look the part." As someone who has benefited from if not relied on her attractiveness, even though you don't like to admit it, you may see the flaws in that approach (as well as being aware that you can be pretty and also competent, I trust?).

Obama, and perhaps Clinton though I don't recall as clearly, went the other way, tending to choose the most unattractive, visually misfit people for positions of trust/loyalty. President Trump may have been imperfect in selecting people for competent/good, but boy howdy, the aforementioned Ds appear to have been spot-on in selecting for bad/evil!

He looks hand-picked by Hitler for his Aryan Nation IMO.
