I'm from Boston and so have no business doing any rubbing in this context.

Hack goalposts and trees, not people. Sadly you have to add that nowadays so nobody feel threatened by words alone...

Me too, but John Phillip Souza's opinion on this is worth far more than mine

Granddaughter, a freshman at U of Minn. is torn between being a Gopher and having Badger roots.

She is supporting her freshmen teammates inga. Should be a fun ride. Likely she just does not want to tell you how easy it is to cut old alliances... Let her live her own life not shackled to the past. My 2 c Ed mts

PSU thumped the Maryland Terps, but still a disappointing season. Franklin (still) can't win the big ones. I suspect he's heading to USC.

@ surprises today

I was at UW 1960-62 and those were fun years. - too bad about the Axe

I've lived in Cleveland for 50 years now, so OSU is kind of a favorite too.

Both games were big surprises.

Arizona had a 19 point lead in the 4th quarter and still lost.

On the bright side, there's no danger of a disappointing bowl game loss this year, so we've got that going for us.

Just picked up western Australia, 10076 miles, which is a record for me by 76 miles, beating Rodrigues Island in the Indian Ocean two years ago when the band was better.

He seems to be in eastern Western Australia so there's still hope for a further improvement in some future year. Perth or something.

The thing about contests is that foreign hams are out of bed and operating when the band conditions are good for reaching them, so you can pick them up instead of never hearing them.

You should have seen the finish of the Texas A&M / LSU game...and the finish...and the finish...and the finish...and the finish...and the finish...and the finish, and the final finish.

UGA is doing well enough. But now the Dogs are going have to beat Bama twice to be the Champion. Somebody better make up some trick plays.

That BYU loss was harbinger of things to come, wasn't it?
