"Just fired Agent Strzok, formerly of the FBI, was in charge of the Crooked Hillary Clinton sham investigation. It was a total fraud on the American public and should be properly redone!"

Yeah, Jeff Sessions will get right on it.

Anyway, good to see another swamp creature leave.

It is remarkable to consider how much we would not know about the machinations of the Deep State if Hill had won. Put differently, if anyone had predicted in 2015 or so that Brennan and Strzok and McCabe and Ohr and Comey and Simpson and Steele would do what they did, she would have been declared an insane right-wing conspiracy theorist. Yet here we are.

Really? That can't be true. Can a person really be that deluded?

paminwi said...

Finally someone with guts had the balls to fire him even though some idiot in the chain of command said he should only get a 60 day suspension. And of course the media story is "he was fired because of anti-Trump texts". If anyone could believe the guy could still command respect from any underling in the future. Or any superior wouldn't be concerned about the work he would do for them in the future.

Sorry this is so long, but you have to take the crazy train to the end.

https://www.gofundme.com/peterstrzok

Peter Strzok, a man who has spent his entire life working to help keep us and our nation safe, has been fired. He needs your help.

For the last year, Pete, his work, and his character have been the target of highly politicized attacks, including frequent slanderous statements from President Trump, who actively—and apparently successfully—pressured FBI officials to fire Pete.

All funds raised on this GoFundMe will be put into a trust dedicated to covering Pete’s hefty – and growing – legal costs and his lost income. The trust is being created and details about its management will be shared here as things progress. We also appreciate your help spreading the word about this GoFundMe by sharing this link: www.gofundme.com/peterstrzok

Peter Strzok is a proud husband and father, a veteran of the U.S. Army and counterintelligence Special Agent who spent more than two decades in a job he loved at the FBI.

Pete handled some of the agency’s most important cases, thwarting numerous attacks by foreign and domestic adversaries while being consistently promoted and frequently recognized for his skillful and independent work. In describing his 21 years at the FBI, The New York Times said, “He rose quickly through its ranks, earning a reputation within the bureau as one of its most savvy and reliable counterintelligence agents.”

But last week, in a decision apparently driven by political pressure, a senior FBI official chose to fire Pete — overruling the agency’s normal and independent process by rejecting the decision of the career professionals in the FBI’s disciplinary division. This has left him without income and facing considerable legal bills.

The nation saw Pete’s true character when he voluntarily testified before Congress on July 12th, 2018. Facing an inquisition that even a Fox News anchor said “felt like a public lynching,” he expressed regret for the pain he caused his family and for the harm caused by the weaponization of his words and, as reported by The Daily Beast, “issued a ringing defense of himself and his agency.”

Following his repeated Congressional testimony and a lengthy investigation, one thing is clear: Pete’s personal views never once influenced his professional actions. As The Washington Post reported, “Republicans have not been able to produce any evidence that Strzok or anyone else took any official action that was biased, unfair or inappropriate…” The Weekly Standard, a leading conservative magazine, declared that the “overwrought tale of bias” surrounding Pete is “just sound and fury.”

The real story behind this episode was made clear in an analysis by Slate, which said that “Peter Strzok is the hero we need.” The author wrote that Pete is an “honest law enforcement officer standing up to a corrupt president. And that’s why Trump attacked him. Trump doesn’t want Americans to...see what backbone looks like. I’ll tell you what it looks like: Republicans tried to put Strzok on trial, and Strzok put Trump on trial instead.”

Unlike those who typically become the focus of partisan investigations in Washington, Pete is not politically connected, he’s not a wealthy lobbyist and he’s not interested in using his notoriety for personal gain. Because of this, he doesn’t have deep pockets that allow him to pay for the significant legal bills he has incurred to defend himself and the FBI against these political attacks, or to easily cover the expenses incurred by his lost income.

We are asking you to support a man who has dedicated his life to defending America; to stand up for the freedoms on which this country was built and a government that truly serves the people by protecting all Americans, including dedicated government employees, from constantly being subjected to the whims and influence of politicians.

@ Edie Willers The new FBI show stars Strzok and Page e-mailing for an hour in the first episode. The second episode has our hero sneering and smirking in a Congressional hearing. The third episode features the review of his performance by DD Bowdich and climaxes with hero Pete being escorted from out of the building by a SWAT team. I have heard that once Pete is off the scene Andy McCabe takes over the lead role. Apparently the producers felt Comey came off just a little too self-righteous to appeal to viewers and did not offer him a part - he's going to write a piece for the New Yorker about his trauma. Ann will feature it.

Practically, there is no statute of limitations for mishandling classified information. Hillary was not exonerated, the prosecutor simply decided not to prosecute based on questionable recommendation from the FBI. I think it should be reviewed by an agent that doesn't write the reasons for dismissal prior to even interviewing the subject.

That said, I'd feel otherwise if it was standard FBI procedure to draft a reason for dismissal prior to all interviews with suspects just to remind the agents of presumption of innocence. That didn't seem to be the process when investigating Trump.

This investigation, has been illegal from the start, as well as corrupt, conflicted and political all the way through. It's such a disappointment to see the open lawlessness and complete disregard for the rules on display day after day. Everyone sees it. All the powerful people know it's wrong, and yet we sit here day after day asking "how can they get away with that, and why doesn't someone stop it?

I hear that politically nobody can stop it, but there is no political price for doing it in the first place? WTF? I just hope that the voters do what nobody else seems willing to do: drain the fucking swamp.

Beyond what we already have, what kind of evidence would be likely to exist? He could be committing that kind of corruption every day, and it's unlikely he's going to document it any more than he what he did, which is pretty damning. He wrote what he wanted to do wrong, described plenty of motivation, and promised Page that he would do it. He had opportunity, motivation and means, and then it happened under his control. What more do you need? People have been sentenced to life in prison with less.

Why did the FBI go so easy on Crooked Hillary? First and foremost, they essentially had non-order orders from their ultimate boss, Obama. He knew, or damn well should have known, that she was using an illegal private email server to conduct official business when she was Sec of State - because he emailed her there on multiple occasions. Second, the State Dept was her fiefdom. He very likely promised it to her in order to get their support in 2008. Obama may have lied through his teeth about Obamacare, his Porkulous spending bill, etc, but when he was bought, he stayed bought.

Next, the FBI apparently couldn't find a DoJ prosecutor, a USA, AUSA, etc who would take the case. Most likely via orders from AG Lynch. This meant no search warrants, and if the FBI actually was able to build a case otherwise, no prosecutor to take the case to trial. And, finally, the FBI agents, and esp the unlamented Strzok, were scared of crossing Clinton. She was expected to win, easily, and no one wanted her, with her infamous vendictiveness, remembering that they were the ones making her sweat.

We know with certainty the entire Russia investigation is fraudulent. The FISA application was based entirely on Hillary Clinton's oppo research which is enough disqualify it for this purpose without corroboration. The FBI has admitted they were unable to corroborate anything beyond that Page took a trip to Russia. Since he was there to give a public speech at a business school this was hardly news. But on top of this failure the rumors were second-hand while the FBI treated the intermediary as the source to conceal this fact just as they concealed that the entire project was a political smear campaign.

Yet here is the Democrat's house organ repeating whatever Dems want her to say. It's sad what people will pretend to believe when reality threatens their political outlook.

The documents have been released. Everything I asserted is a public record, either part of the documents or admitted by the FBI. That's why you don't dare dispute any of the presented facts but similar to Sergeant Shultz insist nothing could ever be enough to reach a conclusion.

In the past left wing control of the media (and the history books) would suffice to keep these facts generally unkown, thus the long and largely successful history of "deny, deny, deny". But now these denials simply serve to erode your and the left's credibility.

12 times Christopher Steele fed Trump-Russia allegations to FBI after the election
by Byron York August 03, 2018

"...In a larger sense, the Ohr-Steele 302s could shed some light on how an effort — it certainly included Steele, but also others — to keep Trump from being elected morphed into an effort to keep Trump from being inaugurated and then morphed into an effort to remove Trump from office. A version of that effort is still going on, of course, even as some in Congress try to find out how it started.

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/12-times-christopher-steele-fed-trump-russia-allegations-to-fbi-after-the-election

Seems more likely than not that the FBI agent scribbling down the breathtaking information in those still-secret Ohr / Christopher Steele 302s was the guy heading the FBI's Cross-Fire Hurricane Russia investigation. His name is Peter Strock.

Can't wait for Grassley to release Steele's recent UK videotaped deposition after he gets it from Gubarev’s lawyers.

RICHARD ENGEL: So, yes, earlier today, I was at a funeral for an eight-month-old little girl who died in this area. According to medical officials, she suffocated from tear gas.

On CNN Tuesday, correspondent Ian Lee appeared on several shows and repeated the claims of a baby who "was killed by gas asphyxiation." He also noted that nine children had supposedly been killed.

Sort of Peter Arnett of Vietnam fame.

Who was exposed by David Hackworth.

ARNETT: Tell me. What was the call sign for the sleeping gas used on Tailwind?

GRAVES: GB. We started calling it knockout gas, then it was GB, then they changed it to something else, which I can understand why they was doing it now.

ARNETT: Why were they doing it?

GRAVES: 'Cause they was using nerve gas in that shit and not telling anybody about it. (The word "shit" was omitted from the transcript posted on your web page.)

That sounds like confirmation, but Graves claims he was talking about a period long after Tailwind. I believe that in replying, he focused on the question about the call sign for "sleeping gas," not on the words "used on Tailwind." I am sure it never occurred to him that CNN would treat his answer as confirmation of something about which he had denied any knowledge.

The transcript shows that this same tactic was used to get Adm. Moorer's "confirmation" of the use of nerve gas.

Corbyn, and all his lefty buddies of course, no different than Alger Hiss, denied this.
