Collins is too stupid to be in congress. The chance of him getting caught was pretty close to 100%.

The Trump presidency is slightly more important than the McKinley presidency and slightly less important than the Eisenhower presidency, in the grand scheme of things. Don't let this gee-gaw we call the internet convince you otherwise!

Millions of people post on twitter and there are a few people, half a century younger than me and perhaps a decade or two younger than you, who will write poetry that Shakespeare and Dante would have loved to have written,

and finally

God loves us the way we are

but

loves us too much

(that is, God loves us too much)

to let us stay that way.

I wanted to talk to you heart to heart but

Impeach Now! Is the bill board on I-75 north of Tampa. I suspect Inga rented it.

I am now watching The Real Housewives of New York at my daughter’s house. Amazing stuff. I can’t wait to see what we do tomorrow.

Funny how “Name that party!” works as a game. If the perp is a Republican, it’s in the first couple of lines, if it is a Dem it’s waay down the story, or possibly not even mentioned at all.

But there is no bias, the press reports just the straight facts.

Is Collins worse than Dem Senator Bob Menendez who was, according to the FBI, accused by trafficked underage girls of using them for sex? Yes! Because of the R.

The McKinley presidency, like the Polk presidency was hugely important. Had Thomas B. Reed secured the presidential nomination in 1996 we may not have had the Spanish-American war; this was a fork of history.

Blue for blue state. Red Sox win.

i was going to say (before Henry beat me to it; that the McKinley Presidency gave us the Philippine Territories. Where would we had been without them?

Of course, on the other hand; the Eisenhower Presidency gave us a World where we were neither enslaved as an SSR by the commies, NOR burnt to an Atomic cinder by TOTAL NUCLEAR WAR.

So, I guess what Stephan is saying is that the Trump Presidency is one of THE MOST IMPORTANT Presidencies in the history of our beloved country. Can't argue with that!!!

I also found out this morning that the Wisconsin DNR feels that Wildcat Mountain State park (100 miles Northwest of Madison) is in SOUTHWEST Wisconsin*. Wisconsin is a strange state

southwest Wisconsin* And not Just IN Southwest Wisconsin, it's noted (by them) how unusual it is that Hemlock and White Pine forests grow, That FAR into southwest Wisconsin!!!

Another day, another Muslim outrage:

"The son of a prominent Brooklyn-based imam was training children at a New Mexico compound to commit schools shootings, prosecutors said in court documents released Wednesday.

Siraj Ibn Wahhaj, 39, was training 11 children at a compound north of Taos, New Mexico, according to The Associated Press. Authorities raided the compound Friday and arrested Wahhaj, two of his siblings and two other men during a search for Wahhaj’s son, who had been abducted from Georgia late in 2017."

I'm watching Rosemarie on TCM. Jeanette McDonald and Nelson Eddy haven't aged as well as Fred and Ginger. Operetta has gone the way of washboards and yodels......The plot is nearly credible and the romantic banter between the leads is witty enough, but not much smoldering. I guess passion is more for opera than operetta.

I just discovered that there has been a third Homonid discovered who lived during Neanderthals and Homo Erecutus: Denisovian Woman.

They could interbreed with both, but they had 385 mtDNA base pairs different from humans, compared to a 202 base pair difference with Neanderthals. A chimp is 1462 different.

They also seemed robust far outside the normal range for modern human, almost matching the sizes of some of the midrange Feminists.

I apologize. Denisovian Woman probably was just big boned, not fat. She doesn't deserve that kind of comparison.

Then there were the 'hobbit' sized humans on that one island. Man is an extraordinary creature.

People's feelings are sensitive. And small things can causes people to feel hurt or angry. You should always treat everyone with love and kindness. It's sad that their are so many people among the leftist that believe that us on the right are uncaring, when in fact they are the ones that have no moral compass.

I know a lot of competitive runners who stop training when they have to take antibiotics. They say that it makes them prone to serious muscle pulls and tears.

A few years ago, I hiked Sabino Canyon (Tucson) while on antibiotics. My calves were incredibly sore for over two weeks. I have done a lot of physical activities and had various injuries over the years. This was completely different. I believe the runners. The brand of antibiotic doesn't matter.

I want to talk about having a loved one in a dangerous cult and no one - not friends, not the cops, no one - will help you. And how can they, when they've bought into so many cult ideas themselves (detoxing, chiropractic, acupuncture, yoga especially) that you sound crazy questioning any of it? Because they wrap it in the language of "female empowerment" and shit.

I'm slowly watching this phenomena be exposed, but it's so agonizingly slow. I've been following NXIVM since 2007, and it's just now being exposed, for example. At this pace, and with so much more going on, it's spooky to contemplate what can still happen - and what's happening, somewhere, now.

It's been 40 years since Jim Jones and The Peoples Temple, and we still haven't learned a God damned thing - and woe be to those who know - because you're condemned, to being alone with that knowledge, forever.

Maybe the problem is they don't agree with you, Crack. What's wrong with chiropractic?

I have back pain, I go to a guy, he puts me on a table and manipulates me this way or that, I often feel much better. I've heard there are chiropractors who do some crazy stuff but I've never seen it or experienced it. If a chiropractor offered me a high colonic, say, I would run the other way. (I think a chiro in Queens told me that before I went to school in the South.)

But other than that, I really don't know what you're talking about and you seem crazy when you say that. Some of the manipulations I can even perform on myself and occasionally have done so for others ie cracking backs, necks. If I'm a cult, where are my groupies?

Ruptured Achilles?"

I've been on Ciprofloxacin for over a year fighting two infections from hip replacement. My left Achilles is sore and swollen. The right, nothing. Two more months and I'm off it, and another eight on Keflex.

As with any drug, YMMV. Fluoroquinolones are bad news for some people. (I had a scary-bad reaction to Cipro, e.g.)

You're not the cult leader - Daniel David Palmer is/was. You're following him, clearly without knowing it.

Look at him. Then tell me he's your savior and the whole thing's legit. He first claimed to heal a slave's hearing. My people say the slave told him it worked just so he'd leave him alone.

Wow, really?! Who would go to a cracker for anything but musculoskeletal pain! Maybe I've just been lucky. Amazing. That's obviously nonsense. Of course, I have no allergies...

Crack, from the Wiki on chiro controversy:

"Collectively, systematic reviews have not demonstrated that spinal manipulation, the main treatment method employed by chiropractors, was effective for any medical condition, with the possible exception of treatment for back pain.[3] Although rare,[8] spinal manipulation, particularly of the upper spine, can also result in complications that can lead to permanent disability or death; these can occur in adults[9] and children.[10]"

Sure, I'm down with all that. I wouldn't look at them for anything but musculoskeletal pain, as I said. And a reputable cracker will evaluate your suitability - for instance, since my dad's various operations, they won't touch him anymore. My guy regularly backs off from what I'm prepared to tolerate.

All that about the deafness, smallpox, whatevs, is loony, sure. But what you may not know, is that lots of what we call "medicine" is learned fortuitously, even accidentally.

Penicillin was an accident. Lithium was an accident, I believe. Lots of neuroscience was learned due to a man named Gage having an iron bar driven through his head by a gunpowder explosion. (He lived, but had personality changes which were studied.) Another man had an abdominal wound which, not closing, allowed direct study of the stomach's workings in digestion.

So if it took some geezer with a beard, to originate knowledge, let's say that only a fraction of which is valid , so that a hundred years later, when I've strained myself so that I literally can't get up but have to crawl, and I get to a chiropractor and he manipulates me and I feel better and can walk and lift stuff - well, thanks, geezer! It's not like I'm going to blow the guy or do assassinations for him.
