Louis Farrakahn extols Donald Trump.
"Mr. Trump is destroying every enemy that was an enemy of our rise. Who is the enemy of our rise? Is it the Department of Justice where we get none? Is it Congress where you make a law that favors us and then you turn around and destroy it?" — quoted at American Thinker.

So. The question is does Trump support Farrakhan and is it a bad thing.
Obama supported Farrakhan and not a peep from the libs or Jews.
If Farrakahn is disparaging the stupidy and violence as the black posture, that's good. Otherwise he's just misunderstang Trump.
Nothing in the American Thinker article suggests that Farrakhan "extols Trump," unless I'm misunderstanding the meaning of the word "extols." Read it again.
You just be doing something right if Farrakhan is on your side.
“Our rise?” “Favors us?”
Who is this nut talking about?
Another small hole in the dike.
Farrakahn preaches black independence won by the strength and pride from keeping laws. His only crime has been his using the Musim Jew hate issue. But he now mildly tempers that with Righteous Jews being a great blessing. Only the out of control Jews are to be hated, and that is standard political compromise.
Trump has always offered to make a deal with strong inner city black men and like Kim, they trust him. Farrakhan knows Trump is to be trusted. His only criticism is apocalypse of Middle East conflict.. But that is mild tea. He knows Trump is totally in with MBS's Saudi/Israel/jJordan/Egypt Gulf Cooperation Council.
This will get the Democrats to denounce Farrakahn, at last.
Farrakhan and Kanye - all the way!
Louis Farrakhan is a horrible human being. Everybody who is endorsed by Farrakhan should be forced to denounce him, a la David Duke.
That said, it would be a great thing for this country if the votes of blacks were open for competition. The identity politics garbage could be disposed if blacks were less disinclined to Republicans.
I used to be a fan of black Muslims as they seemed to be doing something that others have failed to do.
Farrakhan has made a mess of what seemed to be a pretty decent self help movement.
In Oakland airport, for example, there was, and may still be, a black Muslim bakery.
Why are not black neighborhoods filled with black owned small business ?
My hopes for the black Muslims have not been improved by the recent politics.
I think I understand the mutual admiration between, say, Trump and a Farrakhan. Or Trump and a Kanye West. Or Trump and a Sean Hannity. Or a Newt Gingrich or a Mike Huckabee
These are all people whose personal brand is more important to them than anything. Celebrity/personalities. People in the daily, professional business of personal promotion. Like Trump.
Mutual means both sides have done a thing. Not that I don't believe you, Chuck, fopdoodle extraordinaire, but do you have evidence Trump has admired Farrakhan?
Or are you lying again?
I think, rather, that Chuck, fopdoodle extraordinaire, understands that if Trump can earn 15% of the votes of black Americans that his preferred party will lose in 2018 and 2020.
Chuck must attack Republicans or Democrats will lose.
Chuck must attack Republicans.
The Farrakhan tweet surprised me.
From a Democratic Party prospective it’s an electoral nightmare.
And showcases how Trump is fighting the establishment. Is the David vs a huge Goliath, and he winning!
"These are all people whose personal brand is more important to them than anything. Celebrity/personalities. People in the daily, professional business of personal promotion. Like Trump."
... and like our resident LLR who may be obsessing about Trump because he feels jealous of his branding.
Read that ambiguous statement nay way you want.
Birkel; NAME A REPUBLICAN, OTHER THAN THE PURPORTED REPUBLICAN TRUMP, WHOM I HAVE ATTACKED.
Don't suggest Sean Hannity; he's not a Republican. By his own account, he is not a Republican.
Don't suggest Rush Limbaugh; if he is a Republican, he is a Republican who has made a career out of attacking Republicans in a way that I never have, and never will.
And of course Ann Althouse and Scott Adams are not Republicans. By their own accounts, they are not Republicans.
Not once have I promoted the election of any Democrat on these pages. I admired one interview by MSNBC's Rachel Maddow, in which she cross-examined the shit out of Kellyanne Conway. I congratulated both Maddow and Conway on that interview. I said that they both handled themselves well, and the only butt of the interview was Trump insofar as Kellyanne couldn't defend Trump despite a solid effort.
And I took the side of Dick Durbin, once; when he made it known that Trump had used the term "shithole countries" in an immigration meeting with senior senators. I still think that Durbin -- whom I have never otherwise defended -- was right, and that Trump is lying if he says he didn't say it.
The perfectly consistent thread in all of this is that I deplore Trump and Trumpism. I like all other non-Trumpist Republicans. I held my nose and voted for Trump. That is what a loyal Republican I am, and how much I oppose Democrats.
I have more or less actively defended fellow Republicans Mitt Romney, John McCain, Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, Antonin Scalia, Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Jeff Sessions, Betsy DeVos, Scott Walker and Rick Snyder on these pages.
I do not need to attack Republicans, and you can't find a good example of me attacking any Republicans.
Huh? He did not say Trump is intentionally helping. He said that Trump is attacking the evil white man, represented by the Govt agencies responsible for making and carrying out laws.
By defending himself against the witch hunt,Trump is incidentally helping. Farrakan not gonna donate to Trumps re-election campaign.
chuck is just misunderstood. All of his Trump hate is Republican love.
Now, if Mitch McConnell would only do some Senatorial stuff, Trump would not have to be so obnoxious to guys like chuck.
The thing is, this guy doesn't support Trump. Neither does Kanye West.
But here's the good news about these two guys that some are missing.
Even though they don't support Trump, the words they speak give permission to others to like and enjoy Trump. It creates a feeling in their respective communities of acceptance for those who want to like trump to speak more openly about it.
Dinesh D'Souza once wrote in his book "The end of racism" that black people celebrate the bad guy. Disobeying on the plantation was a form of protest and while your certainly find yourself in a lot of trouble, your also gain respect from your peers for being bad. This attitude, he says, carried over into the civil Rights era where being bad is actually good.
In black communities across America, being Republican is bad. Supporting Trump is bad.
I think these guys are capitalizing on that.
Farrakhan gets quoted but not Althouse.
Is there no justice?
Farrakhan only states that Trump is the enemy of his enemy. Liberals like to think that the enemy of their enemy is their friend, which is not what Farrakhan is saying.
Chuck, fopdoodle extraordinaire, gets riled up when anybody suggests he is doing what he is doing. How dare anybody notice!?!
The suggestion of mutuality was a lie. I noticed.
Chuck, fopdoodle extraordinaire, is a liar.
Jesus. Do these people just lay in wait to see if Chuck turns up and comments?
Get a life and stop using the stupid pretentious archaic fopdoodle insult which seems to describe yourself Birkel, more than it does anyone else.
Royal ass Inga used a dictionary. Then she used the estimable "I know you are but what am I?" retort.
Does 'lying in wait' bring the charges up to Blog Commenting in the First Degree?
Finally, I have taken your recommendation under consideration and decline your invitation. I have agency and refuse to answer to the likes of you.
Then Sunday supposedly said:
Why should there be an end to him (White man)? Because his nature is not in harmony with the nature of God.
Do these people just lay in wait to see if Chuck turns up and comments?
My dog sits in our window each morning, wagging her tail in anticipation at each schoolchild walking up the sidewalk hoping it's the one small girl who invariably stops to make the gestures that invariably make my dog bark. They're frenemies, just like Chuck and Birkel.
Earnest Prole,
I enjoy your condescension. It's got an air of sophistication and self-loathing that everybody enjoys. Even your dog.
Is it possible that Farrakhan understands irony?
Trump is chipping away at the crooked FBI and Justice Depts. Do you expect Farrakhan to praise what he sees as the bludgeon of a corrupt government. Then again he had nothing to be concerned about for 8 years starting 10 years ago.
So maybe he's simply currying favor.
Racists of a feather think alike together.
PPPT/Ritmo/TTR thinks the Klan and the Nation of Islam work together.
Since both are Democrat organizations so I will buy the theory.
You're pretty gullible.
Gullible. Well-informed. Potato. Spud.
The KKK was and is a Democrat operation.
Westboro Baptist Church is a Democrat operation.
The Nation of Islam is a Democrat operataion.
BLM is a Democrat operation.
Power corrupts.
The goal or acquiring absolute power corrupts absolutely.
The entire Democrat Party platform is of a piece with gathering political power.
