Trump responds to Joe Biden's threatening to beat him up.

Biden started this fracas with his ill-tempered comments. Does he not realize that YouTube has dozens of videos, and a few compilations, of him aggressively touching and groping women, often in very public places in a very obvious way? These women look uncomfortable, shocked, and sometimes downright fearful. Does he not realize that there are stories in the public press about his tendency to swim nude in the forced presence of female secret service agents? Is he really that dense?

As juvenile as this is, Trump got the better of him. Trump ought to follow up by tweeting a link to those Biden videos I mentioned. That would be the stake thru the heart. Even hardcore Biden fellaters would recoil in disgust.

Kyzer SoSay said...

OH, Biden gropes little girls in these videos as well. Forgot to mention that. A hero of the left. "Everyman" Joe.

Now I see why liberals like Inga and ARM are so dim and yet so nasty. They take after Slow Joe. It's low-IQ hypocrisy all the way down.

tim in vermont said...

It’s hilarious, but I don’t think either side won. He should have mentioned that Bankwalker Joe likes to parade around naked in front of his Secret Service protection, and the lady agents don’t all like it. You’re not 25 anymore Joe.

Plus this all goes to show the old saying about people who have survived a brain aneurism. “Once air touches your brain, you are never the same.”

Big Mike said...

I was torn between the first option (“Hilarious ...”) and the next to last (“Striking proof ...”). Both are good. A former member of Biden’s Secret Service detail called him “Washington’s Weinstein.” Biden is a piece of shit so foul that even flies won’t come near him.

This is actually pretty nuanced of Trump. He always fights back but, unlike Obama, his pushback is proportional to the nature of his antagonist. Trash like Biden can be seen off with trash talk. Corrupt clowns like Hillary can be clowned on about their blatant greed. The Statist assassins of the FBI and the DOJ can be hoisted with the same bureaucratic petard they abused. What looks to the critical like indiscipline is actually a refusal to dignify his enemies. That’s what drives the Left and the LLRs crazy.

Something else: one striking characteristic of our Information Age is the tendency to blur the distinction between reality and fantasy/imagination. By imagining a youthful Biden beating up a youthful Trump, he and his supporters are building a path to use force to overcome their political opponents.
1) Start in fantasy.
2) Blur the distinction.
3) The path to dreams coming true.

MaxPrep Sports ranked Trump the number 5 most athletic president. He played high school baseball and football. Several Major League Baseball teams showed interest in him. Golf Digest rated him our best president golfer.

Joe Biden, on the other hand, pretends he played football at the University of Delaware. No less a source than Huffington Post looked into his claim that he was on the team that beat Ohio University in 1963 and found ... “ I just want you to know, I came here in October 1963, and we beat you Bobcats 29-12 ... In the CBS snippet above, Biden seems to swallow the word “player” as he says it. The school’s sports information department told HuffPost that he played briefly on the freshman team in 1961. However, he never played varsity football at Delaware and did not play in the 1963 game at Ohio University.”

Sounds like Crazy Joe is another Richard Blumenthal, or Brian Williams, or Hillary “I came under a hail of gunfire” Clinton, a fabulist. This is what living in Narrativeville gets you.

In many ways I'm eager to embrace Trump's unusual, direct speech. I can even see some merit in his chaotic management style and utter lack of principles. The political establishment in both parties has to be shaken up a bit, and Trump is making it happen.

But when he stoops like this, and there are many similar examples, it makes me feel ashamed as an American. Biden is a shameful loser, but he's out of office and in any event he was never POTUS so his quirkiness could mostly be brushed off. Trump is POTUS so he needs to be better than Biden.

Social media is ruining so much about life and I really hate the damage Trump has done to the dignity of the office with his tweets. So many unforced errors by Trump. His tweets are delicious candy for his rabid fans, for sure, but he's also hardening the sizable opposition and energizing Democrats to vote in 2018.

If you're a squishy independent/moderate, and you dislike Trump's bluster and so on, wouldn't you like to bring Trump down a notch?

Kyzer SoSay said...

Or Obama's composite girlfriends. Liberals always imagine themselves to be something they are manifestly not. In the case of Blumenthal, heroic. In the case of Clinton, tested under intense conditions. In the case of Williams, cool under fire.

In the case of Obama, straight.

No, never President - just spent 8 years only a heartbeat away. But yeah, other than that, we certainly can't hold him to any standard of dignity anymore. But that rascal Trump!!!

C'mon. Biden is a child, mentally and physically and emotionally. You already forget about his remarks on health care ("This is a big fuckin' deal!") or his remarks on what would happen to blacks if the GOP won in 2012 or 2014 ("They're gonna put y'all back in chains!"). You're just upset that Trump bested Biden and did it while keeping a knockout blow in his back pocket.

Because it's all about power, and lies are effective when the left uses them to keep their stoked hatred alive. That's really the only motive the left has until they regain power - use anything to stop, disarm, discredit, disable, and defeat The Trump. He is their Moby Dick. That's why CNN interviews jailed Russian hookers in Thailand. That's why they don't bother issuing corrections half the time. That's why WaPo changed their masthead slogan, why Facebook is the Emmanuel Goldstien this week, why they ignore the "good guy with the gun" story in Maryland, why, why, why . . .

It's why ARM gets out of bed in the morning. He certainly has nothing else going for him, and also nothing left to lose.

Regarding Iran, Biden assured us that it didn't matter if Iran got the fissile material they were after, because "they don't have a bomb to put it in."

I don't expect an incumbent VP or a candidate VP to be a nuclear subject matter expert, but I'd like them to be literate enough in nuclear history to realize that this is fatuous. Getting enough fissile material, of high enough quality, is the key hurdle. No nation that has cleared it, failed to become a nuclear power because they couldn't design and produce a bomb to use it in.

Several here and elsewhere have commented about why didn't President Trump call Biden "Creepy Joe" instead of "Crazy Joe"

I think crazy works better at the moment because:

Everybody else is talking about Creepy Joe as in "Why didn't he call him creepy instead of crazy?". Not only that but they are posting pictures showing just how creepy he is around women and young girls. Also mention of swimming naked in front of SS women, various other nicknames "Bad touch Biden" "Handsy Biden" and such.

So it is sort of a linguistic twofer. Call him crazy and the creepy just comes out naturally.

And you know what Binging Crazy Joe turns up?

First 3-4 hits are for Crazy Joe Gallo (A Mafia don) wiki page and movie, some pics of Gallo, then a couple of hits for an indonesian band and finally some Donald Trump calls Biden Crazy Joe.

Crazy Joe Gallo and Crazy Joe. What else do they have in common? Oh, yeah, both were corrupt pieces of shit.

Whenever I hear "Crazy Joe" I immediately think of Gallo. Then I get the image of the non-compos old man wondering around Brooklyn in his bathrobe pretending to be senile. Yes, I know that was Vinnie the Chin Gigante but every time I think about it I first think "Crazy Joe Gallo" before realizing that it was not him.

So Crazy Joe Biden works for me!

No recent president would’ve publicly degraded himself in this manner. Neither would a teenager of slightly above-average maturity. Yet Trump is unembarrassed, and unapologetic, for the damage he does to America’s reputation."

Revealingly everything he says applies to Biden's comment yet Friedersdorf can't bring himself to criticize a recent VP and possible Presidential candidate who initiated the bluster. He never even mentions Biden.

This is how you know Friedersdorf's criticism of the left is brand management hoping to make his criticisms of the right more effective.

This a Hall of Fame tweet.

Trump’s having fun. It’s playful. We’re getting used to it and laughing more. And he’s making Biden’s remarks bigger news by addressing them.

He’s created two options for people to choose from: First is that Trump’s loud mouth approach is no big deal, just fun against the stuffy bullshit we usually get from politicians, just like Joe Biden was as Vice President (and before).

Two: The hypocrisy angle. Biden has always been a loud mouth boor and the Dems and media didn’t care and just made excuses for him. Including Obama. Biden was the fucking Vice President, not the mayor of Philly. Trump’s loud mouth approach is “intolerable” but because he is President but Biden’s was no big fmdeal because he was “only” Vice President. This is a completely bullshit argument. Obama had no problem tolerating Biden. He hung a fucking medal around his throat.

The best part, the part that shows us that Trump is a smart sonofabotch light years ahead of his detractors, is the “he doesn’t even know me line.” It personalizes things. Suggests if Biden knew me as a person he would like me and wouldn’t say stuff like this. That Biden is being personal and a jerk because, unlike Rubio or Cruz or some others who have Trump back some of his bullshit, he doesn’t know Trump well enough to have fun with him. Bust his balls in public.

And it is also a dagger. Biden doesn’t know Trump because Biden is a nobody in DC. He’s a moron with no juice. Unlike the Clintons, Harry Reid, Schumer, Pelosi, McConnel and others Trump had to woo to get his business done, Biden wasn’t important. He sat at the kids table in DC.

He just cut Biden off at the knees. We won’t be hearing from Biden again. He’s a nobody.

Oh, God, I could only laugh. An outrage a day keeps the media at bay.

I'm sorry Trump bothered to take poor old Yosemite Joe seriously. He should have tweeted something much more condescending.
