Some of Vlad's stash falls to the ground.

And to put this in perspective, $120 million is way less than the cash Barack gave to Iran.

We had a good counterclaim and Barack settled for a high number and got zero in return.

I'm sure all of the lawyers here would love to have been on the other side of Obama. A guy who never tried a case and was playing with other people's money.

Finders Keepers. Except it's Russian Govt, so the prudent thing is to give it back.

Gold / silver has never fallen from the sky into my yard. (pout)

In US, you have helicopter money, in Russia, we have airplane gold.

How does several tons of weight shift in an aircraft, and not cause a wreck??

Was it bound for Syria?

"..unsecured cargo". Yikes! Were they really so stupid? Something that heavy not secured in an aircraft? Somebody screwed up.

You simply made an ignorant and unjustified assumption. That's on you.

That's why Russia doesn't run Amazon Prime shipping.

Nine tons of gold and silver were on the flight.
How often do the mines around Yakutsk produce this much gold and silver?
Is this a weekly or monthly flight or quarterly?
Where was the gold and silver going?
The reporting of this even is so uninformative as to be a joke, were it not so ridiculously bad.

Looks like MI-6 is finally learning how to play the game.

But they still need a little more practice. ;-)

If there's one thing I know, it's that 6,000 pounds of silver and gold won't buy back the beat of a heart grown cold.

Russia builds airplanes like Harley Davidson builds motorcycles. Except that Harleys are already on the ground, so the impact isn't so bad.

Is this one of those ‘golden showers’ we’ve been hearing about?
