A classic Trump tweet.

Some people — including me — find this hilarious, especially the "While not at all presidential," but some — I'm sure — are flummoxed. If it's not at all presidential, why the hell are you saying it?! That's so wrong.

But there's value in "a little bit of wrongness," as we discussed here.

Once people type you as a "character", you have considerably more latitude to say inflammatory things. It does require a certain degree of both finesse and indifference to start creating that space.

I write a someone who often does a face-palm over his tweets and statements-- not b/c they aren't "presidential," but b/c I think they are tactical mistakes.
