Nutritional Value
Wild carrot seeds are a diuretic and a stimulant, and the roots are used as a treatment for jaundice and threadworms. The tap root lacks any orange pigmentation and therefor is void of beta-carotene.

Applications
The roots of Wild carrot are edible and best when cooked, as they are thin and stringy when raw. The roots may even be dried, roasted and ground into a powder for a coffee substitute. The flowers are also a culinary treat. They may be fried as a whole cluster, steeped for an herbal tea or used to aromatize simple syrups and vinegars. The leaves are also edible and offer a delicious herbal carrot flavor to stocks and soups. Wild carrot seeds are very aromatic and may be dried and used as a spice.

I can't vouch for the above personally, except that the main root smells like a carrot, and while not particularly good to eat, will not kill you in small quantities. Never heard of the seeds being a stimulant before though. Since the web site goes on to say that the Mohegan Indians used the seeds to treat diabetes, I have to wonder, since I doubt that on a pure aboriginal diet in North America, diabetes was a big problem.; 9/2/17, 6:31 AM

That's true. I think that Die Hard is a great comedy, but instead they put an action hero on the Inspector Clouseau role. Rickman is great, and the terrorists do everything right, and the police and FBI do everything wrong, and still the terrorists plans are foiled. I just watched "It Started in Naples" with my daughter, we enjoyed that a lot. I liked the performance of "You wanna be Americano" (which incidentally, the browser suggested correctly the last word of that title after only typing a few letters) "Houseboat" was another good one.

Well here's a story about what happens when you try to depend on the Coast Guard to rescue you and your parents. A young man in Port Arthur had his home flooded and he helped his parents climb onto their roof with him. A Coast Guard helicopter came by, but refused to pick them up saying that they needed to pick up a neighbor with a brain aneurysm first, but promised that they'd be back. The young man's uncle came by with a boat, and he joined his uncle in rescuing 50 people including, eventually, his own parents. The Coast Guard chopper never did come back.
