You don't have to click on any of this:
1. The Daily Caller: "It’s High Time Barron Trump Starts Dressing Like He’s In the White House." (The occasion: Barron Trump, wearing a T-shirt and shorts, was photographed walking with his parents from Air Force One after some trip from New Jersey back to Washington. Barron's mother is wearing a sun dress (with the usual high heels) and his father is wearing the same thing he always wears. The Daily Caller refers to Melania and Donald's clothes as "their Sunday best" — an old-fashioned expression that isn't even accurate, since bare shoulders are a traditional no-no for church.)
2. Chelsea Clinton tweeted (linking to The Daily Caller): "It's high time the media & everyone leave Barron Trump alone & let him have the private childhood he deserves."
3. The Washington Post followed on with: "Chelsea Clinton defends Barron Trump after conservative website bashes his clothes."

Leave Barron alone...There are statues that must come down...How are we going to go on as a nation when we have these killer statues that are oppressing so many people???
It's high time everyone leave Chelsea Clinton alone & let her have the private adulthood we all deserve.
If only the Washington Post could see themselves.
Cut the WAPO writers, some slack. It is depressing and exhausting to be negative all of the time. How would you like to have to call good evil and evil good to survive one more day in the Media Gulag.
As a moderate, it is always good to hear a reasoned defense of moderation. David Brooks is kind of a dick but this column covers the bases adequately.
He *does* dress up for public events -- like the inauguration or the Easter egg roll.
Getting off a plane on the way home from a random trip is not a public event. Technically, he's in public. But seriously.
Pretty sure this qualifies Chelsea to be President, or something.
You do have to appreciate the teamwork and coordination.
That is business attire for every eleven year old in Summertime.
Please, God, Stop Chelsea Clinton from Whatever She Is Doing. The last thing the left needs is the third iteration of a failed political dynasty.
Baron's height works against him. He looks older than his age. Eleven year olds should not be judged by they fashion choices. Thank God for Chelsea and her bold courage in taking this brave stand.
What!., no comments about the shorts?

"As a moderate..."
You keep on using that word. I do not think you know what it means.
You know, if they got him dressed up to walk in front of the cameras, the Trumps would be accused of acting like royals.
Ah, clickbait. Nice word there.
"As a moderate..."
As someone else pointed out here recently: you don't get to pick your own nickname.
In answering the follow up pollster, I informed them that "bare shouldered sun dress" got me to click through more than:
(A) "dont click through"
(B) reports of Barron acting casual
(C) hoping there were more Chelsea quotes
(D) here's 11 things I need to know right now about ------, or what X just said to Y that will rip my mind asunder.
Did the media plan it that way? Give Barron some shit and let Chelsea look like the hero?
I wouldn't put it past them.
The word moderate is a qualifier. Moderately what?
Is David Brooks a moderate?
At least Barron's T-shirt isn't hanging lower than the base of his member.
Is David Brooks a moderate?
David Brooks is a horse's ass. Come to think of it, so are you.
Okay, fair's fair. David Brooks is an extreme leftist's caricature of what a thoughtful conservative should look like and act like and think like and write like. No conservative or even a centrist regards him as anything close to the center. Most reasonable people wouldn't even put him center-left. He's conservative by the standards of the newsroom at the Times.
And Barron could dress a little bit better when he'll be in public. He should wear a polo shirt, in any color but white.
Finally, Chelsea is correct. He looks like a kid. He doesn't look messy, I am sure life is tough enough as it is, and he has nicer shoes and shorts than most boys that age care to wear.
We CAN make fun of Chelsea because she forces her hideous mug into the public eye, and she is an adult.
Worrying about celebrity children is emotionally self-indulgent, so women like it.
The media left Chelsea alone and look how she turned out.
Liberals love to assail the conservative monolith. Ford Springer, "contributor" to the Daily Caller, therefore represents all "conservatives" with a snarky fashion piece.
Kurt Eichenwald ✔ @kurteichenwald
Jesus, they're even inhuman 2 their own. @Ford_Springer of conserv @dailycaller slams Barron Trump 4 his clothes. FORD! Kids are OFF LIMITS!
"At least Barron's T-shirt isn't hanging lower than the base of his member."
lol
Stop pandering to soap opera women might be a translation of Chelsea's plea, which would be good, but I don't think she means it that way. She wants to add to the soap opera women material.
I remember the episode of Seinfeld where George wanted the nickname "T-bone" but got the nickname "Koko".
Hmm I remember when Michelle Obama stepped off Air Force One wearing shorts and a t shirt--have to bleach my eyeballs every time I think about it. And if Queen Moochie can wear shorts and a t shirt, it's okay for Barron Trump (who is not an adult) to do the same.
If a journalist suggested Chelsea Clinton should have "dressed up' during her time in the White House, he would have been declared sexist.
John Constantius,
Or the Big Bang episode where Wolowitz wanted the nickname "Rocket Man" and ended up with "Fruit Loops." "Koko" "Fruit Loops" - either seems to work in the context of this thread. Perhaps there should be a poll.
The media is trying to make Chelsea "happen""--give her a leg up on a political career. Chelsea Clinton ain't gonna happen.
A fifth-grader should not be wearing a suit when coming back from a trip to Florida.
It is poor form to criticize the minor children of a politician unless it is something very important. Summer clothes are not important. For that matter, it is poor form to criticize the adult children of a politician unless said adults have injected themselves into the discussion. If Chelsea Clinton had gone about her own way without involving herself in politics, I would consider her off limits. Of course, she has done nothing of the sort and appears to be as corrupt as her parents, so whatever.
The boy is 11 years old.
Eleven.
What the fuck is wrong with some people?
He. Is. Eleven.
Am I the only one here who thinks the Daily Caller was joking? Good lord, they don't care what a kid wears any more than you do. But they do like to stir the pot.
Clearly the Daily Caller should have stuck with implying Bannon is autistic, as some find it fashionable to imply rather than his clothing. Did we ever get coordinated media outrage about that?
I suspect the Daily Caller of playing some 4D chess here.
They knew that, if they said something mean about Barron Trump, liberals would start shrieking, just because, hey, it's the Daily Caller. But now, the next time a liberal panjandrum (lets hope Chelsea Clinton) says something mean about Barron (or the child of another conservative), they can pull out the screencaps and go, "Hypocrite!"
