I wonder if she regrets lecturing us about not judging her by her looks, because sometimes a gal needs all the help she can get. Especially if your mind has gone soft from spooning safe spaces.
In terms of election results, there really has never been any doubt that Gianforte would win, both historically speaking and analytically speaking, not to mention in terms of basic realism.
You don't seem to understand the narrative. They need Republicans to help them impeach Trump. So the Dem win in the Republican district is further proof the Trump supporters are sick of him and ready to impeach.
They want that majority Republican district to flip. They need that majority Republican district to flip. It's the sign from God they've been waiting for that order will soon be restored.
Crooked Hillary lost big here for one big reason - she is, well, crooked. Quist was hit pretty hard for what most consider minor honesty issues. Clinton was far, far worse, and everyone knew it. No one really cared that Trump was a braggart, but her actions were deeply offensive to a large number of Montanans.
I wonder then the left will say 'hmmm - perhaps we should tell the corrupt Clintons, corrupt Podesta, and evil Soros and his evil money - 'No thank you/go pound sand.' ?
Not seeing any signs of that.
Perhaps the GOP should continue to run against Hillary. I say YES.
"So the Dem win in the Republican district is further proof the Trump supporters are sick of him and ready to impeach.
That was yesterday's narrative before the GOP victory. Today the GA special election is the bellwether."
Just a reminder to anyone tempted by that narrative - Democrat Steve Bullock was reelected governor in the same election where Trump did so well in MT. I think that this election could have gone either way, with the right candidate. The Republican had good name recognition from just running against (and losing to) Bullock, plus a lot of his own money. The Democrat wasn't seen by many as a serious person, while being seen as having integrity issues. He did have the advantage of being a native, while painting his competitor as a newcomer, plus that big hat, which is why, I think it was as close as it was.

Thanks for the analysis, Bruce Hayden.
