"They overlooked so many very basic things. And baby, they forgot to make me sign an NDA."

Great closing line to an article in New York Magazine titled "I Worked at Fyre Festival. It Was Always Going to Be a Disaster."

Those disaster post-mortems are a fun read. Thanks for linking to it.

But for this blog, I never would have heard of fyre festival.

After reading that account of the meeting with the guy who said they would just pull it off and "be legends," I realized this whole thing was eerily similar to this scene from The Simpsons. Must have been a bunch of millennials.

When I first saw this, I thought it was a festival for people who like to wear boots of a certain 70's vintage...then I noticed the spelling was wrong...then I was totally confused.

The Wiki page for the Fyre Festival included, under "See also", "Altamont free Concert" and "Woodstock '99". 'Nuf said.

I like the use of "And baby..." for the summation. Nice segue from an ordinary list of disasters to the punchline.
