How about "Distinguished member of White House Press Corps has brilliant exchange with president ?
I know it's the Onion but it is hard to tell, especially since a Hillary supporter bought it. Good investment with the hysteria going on.
These idiots might profitably read, Allan Drury's "A Senate Journal" from 1943. Not only is it excellent reporting but it gave him the inspiration for a series of very successful novels.
They should be so talented. And yes, I know he was gay.
More fun comes from today's DJT AM Show. This morning it was the ring kissing Airline Executives.

Today The Onion. Tomorrow -- What? This isn't going to happen in the next four years?
Like it already hasn't happened under Johnson, Nixon, Clinton & Obama, except no one reported it. It would actually be almost a relief to have the man in charge do his own cussing out & publicly, too. Everybody else ---& I mean everybody else -- waited until after the press conference & then had a trusted lieutenant call up the reporter's bosses & ream them out. Obama & Clinton were both notoriously thin skinned.
Scroll down a few articles at the link and there's a very funny slideshow depicting the farcical "twitter war" between Barack Obama and the Audobon Society. NSFW though.
I agree with Mattman26 up thread. These days it's harder and harder to tell articles published by the Times or the Post from articles in the "Onion." Kind of puts Chris Cuomo's bitching and moaning into perspective, doesn't it?
I'm not sure if it as much Trump is un-Onionable as it is society has become un-Onionable. Absolutely absurd and, at times, provably false positions are not only held by significant parts of the population, but they consider failure to hold these positions to be the utmost in stupidity if not heresy that requires severe punishment. Sounds like a fair fight, though the fact loving press needs to learn float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. T. would break down laughing. Nothing like a belly laugh to destroy the opponent. I love the use of "lede." I've been told by people in journalism that "lead" is now the preferred term for a variety of reasons. I have stuck with "lede" nonetheless. Wikipedia's Wiktionary has an interesting etymology for "lede"; "Mid-20th century neologism from a deliberate misspelling of lead, intended to avoid confusion with its homograph meaning a strip of type metal used for positioning type in the frame.[1]
Alas indeed -- I saw an Onion piece the other day that was indistinguishable from Seth Meyers' dreadful stuff. On the other hand the Onion is still capable of glorious stuff like this.

What a day...it seems like a VJ Day, redux. And we do not get tired of winning too much.
We've reached that point where until I saw it was the Onion, I had no idea it was a parody.
I love the last line in the article. Very droll.
Forgot to ask "and how can I blame Bush, too?"
The media has made themselves part of the story, so figure it out.

Same here.
Are we living some real life version of Bulworth
I quickly scanned through that and also thought it was real. Hmmm.
Is this President in the early stages of dementia?
Ah, the Onion, that's a relief. Trump would never really do this, would he?
I said way back during the campaign, that Donald Trump would put The Onion out of business.
They couldn't make up the best shit in this Administration.
I thunk it was real til I saw the Onion tag cuz Im dum I gess or may be just gulliver.
I certainly enjoyed this vexing topic -
‘You Shan’t Ask Me About Our Shops, Papa, For I Am Forbidden To Say!’ Chides President’s Son

Allan Drury's "A Senate Journal"
Excellent book. Some of the senators in Advise and Consent are modeled on the Senate of 1943-45.
Is this what a humble brag looks like?
The genius of Trump in a single word: he's Onionproof.
Whatever happened to the old-fashioned form, "This reporter...," as in, "This reporter was on the receiving end of a stream of invective..."
(Seeing "The Onion" tag should have raised a huge flag.)
Are our site Lefties in the late stages of dementia?
Agnew re the press
A tiny and closed fraternity of privileged men, elected by no one, and enjoying a monopoly sanctioned and licensed by government.
In the United States today, we have more than our share of the nattering nabobs of negativism.
Some newspapers are fit only to line the bottom of bird cages.
A spirit of national masochism prevails, encouraged by an effete corps of impudent snobs who characterize themselves as intellectuals.
We've seen Onion pieces in Politico so naturally the next step is Politico pieces in the Onion.

Audubon, whatever
It's good to see the Onion mocking the pretentiousness of the press.
"lifelong republican" Chuck: "I said way back during the campaign, that Donald Trump would put The Onion out of business."
Your predictions and reactions to the election and subsequent events top any Onion article I've read in years!
The funniest part is a member of the media being troubled about being part of the story. He must be the new guy.
Speaking of TheOnion, here's some fake news:
CNN host Chris Cuomo says 'fake news' insult is 'equivalent of the N-word for journalists'
AP: 9th circuit will release it's decision by the end of the business day (5PM PST?)
I agree with Mattman26 up thread. These days it's harder and harder to tell articles published by the Times or the Post from articles in the "Onion." Kind of puts Chris Cuomo's bitching and moaning into perspective, doesn't it?
Another single-word portrait of Trump's genius: He's UnOnionable.
SEDE

Amen, Static Ping, amen.
Shouldn't fake news be funny?
UnOnionable would have been a much better memething had the Onion not been de-scented.
Alas.
