Tapper's an excellent cartoonist, and I like this segment of the show, but this week's edition struck me as his best ever — because of the drawings, the spiffy narrative arc, and the humor:

I'd love to see him make his SecTreasury candidates compete with lemonade stands, like the first "Apprentice" episode.
There are strong parallels to Andrew Jackson.
It's already old news, though, since Christie is back on the inside today.
Well, actually all I have seen or heard (but my DirectTV is out today) is MSM speculation, so who knows whether Christie was ever even out? Or in?
The Trumpers are doing an uncommonly good job of just smiling and saying little or nothing.
Mr. Trump ust have spoken to them quite sverely.
I watched MTP, even though I had stopped in the month before the election. Thought I check out the sad faces.
They haven't changed. Neera Tanden? Still?
Ehhhhhhh. Not impressed.
Opinon Masquerading as analysis. Boring.
I imagine that Trump is relishing his opportunity to staff the executive branch with his kind of achievers. I've never seen his TV shows, but I trust that he will take this responsibility super-seriously according to the phrase the "personnel is policy". I also expect him to fire a few key "stars" of his administration for poor performance.
