Well, I don't think so, but I'm glad they've preserved things and it's a museum for people who are able to believe the spirit is there.
"It's truly Prince," continues Norrine Nelson, Prince's sister. "He had a vision and he finished it."
And Al Roker is there with enough gas to drive home just how finished it is. Scared me off the idea of ever going there. But America needs Paisley Park, I guess, just like we need Graceland.

All I ever needed was Highway 61.
Addendum: and it's "Crossroads" Highway 49.
(Trigger alert: Bottom of that link had a pic of Hil and Bil embracing on beach.)
Dunno..hard to imagine any musician wanting to freeze a functioning recording studio out of what it was meant to do..
I wonder if the chalk marks outlining the drug emaciated body are still in the elevator?
Althouse: "Scared me off the idea of ever going there."
You could make the trip to Minn. a two-fer.
From TripAdvisor: “Hibbing makes a great day for Bob Dylan fans”
Really, a trip to Hibbing is a great half-day stop for any Bob Dylan fan. Plan to load up your car with Dylan CD's and take a road trip to see the town that Bob grew up in.
Bob's old house and Hibbing high school are just drive by attractions. Be sure to eat a good lunch at Zimmy's restaurant, that Bob has no association with, but is really just there as a novelty.
Finally, and the best part about Hibbing, is go to the Hibbing Public Library and they have a Bob Dylan Museum in a back room in the basement with original memorabilia from his high school talen[t] shows, a collage of many of his record albums, and miscellaneous photogs and articles relating to Bob. It was a great time!

The best thing in Hibbing is the freshwater whaling museum.
At first I thought this said "The spirit of Pence is here"
I'm going to Paisley, Paisley
Chanhassen, Minnesota...
Boy, that was quick.
I'm sorry to see something functional (the music studio) being frozen in time. Perhaps they should open it up to musicians anyway? It's not like these are museum-quality artefacts.
After all, they didn't close Abbey Road after the Beatles broke up. From what I understand, not a lot has changed there.
I was just glad Al Roker was going to make it home without running out of gas.
It'd be worth going to see if Prince had all purple Fiestaware.
Graceland is what it is only because of Priscilla Presley. We'll see if Primces sister is of the same caliber.
It would probably be in poor taste to ask if the place will showcase the drugs that did him in. You know, a tasteful lil' exhibit w/purple paraphernalia, something edgy but relatable.
Most hillarious anecdote told by Kevin Smith of his Prince documentary shot at PP. Long version here
