I really like Natural Bridge SP not far to the west in fall. Partly for the squash and pumpkin stand along County PF that has ore interesting varieties than any store.

Nice shots of a lovely spot

The Parfreys are half my maternal genealogy. Love that place. Glad you finally went.

For an encore, Meade needs to convince you to make a canoe trip from Sauk City to Arena. Great photo-ops in the Fall -- especially if eagles dare show.

@OM: That's only the geology. What about the flora?

Looks beautiful! The outdoors are so exhilarating in autumn. Makes me want to visit there on my next trip back to Wisconsin.

Parfreys Glen is an awesome place. It's really great on a hot humid day -- it's such a pleasantly cool place then.

@chickelit - the flora in the Baraboo Hills glens tend to be an assemblage more typically found 300 miles farther north: hemlocks, yellow birch, etc. It's thought to be a remnant of the community that established itself after the retreat of the glacier.

Radio Derb on the pussy fuss.

What women want differs a lot from what they say they want, so the consequences are not definite. Also mention of prune-faced schoolmarms that rule the culture.
