from the article:
Brian Wolfman, a classmate, recalled that Kaine also helped set up a phone bank to ask students who had landed summer jobs at corporate law firms to donate part of their salary to students who worked for nonprofits and community groups.

And all of a sudden the Death Penalty for aborted fetus seemed politically correct. He is a man who takes both sides of every issue without a second thought.

So, he was not a gunner. Probably didn't have anything to say. BFD.

Lol, these puff pieces with the dreamboat illustrations are popping up all over. Imagine if there had been similar pieces on the mild-mannered, ethically strait-laced Mitt Romney, who is both exceedingly handsome, and has, on his own dime and time, assisted many people in need. Oh, never mind.

It's a machine.

Yep he's a good guy. Of course, it's all downhill from here.

". . . and devout Catholic from the Midwest suddenly surrounded by Ivy Leaguers" and the insanely abortion-rabid partisans of the Democrat Party.

Still don't understand how a Christian could ever vote for a Democrat, even apart from the Tim Kaine position of being on this platform with that female.

Judging from the number of responses to this post, the very mention of the name "Tim Kaine" generates enthusiasm and excitement.

Did he take $160,000 worth of "free" stuff in law school just like he did as gov. & lt. gov of Virginia?

Based on the picture alone, I thought the article would be on Ted Bundy--he went to law school, though I didn't think it was Harvard.

A humble man, with a reason to be humble.

Oh please, enough with the faux humbleness.
First the Pope, now Kaine.
They are both talk out of both sides of their mouths weirdos.

"He was just an ignorant hick from a nothing school when the hand of an almighty secular god plucked him from his miserable obscurity and dropped him upon our Olympian heights. There, he was well schooled in all our rightthink causes but maintained some quaint vestiges of his backwater, cultic past."

Notice, Kaine's "peace sign" resembles one of those closed fingered "Catholic peace signs".

One time when I took the train from Boston to NYC, I overheard a Harvard Law student talking about his fellow Harvard Law students. Harvard Law students, he told his seatmate, were such good people. Veritable salt of the earth.

Nor, I thought to myself, were Harvard Law students lacking in self-regard.
Disclaimer: the girl who was my primary babysitter when I was a child married the son of a Harvard Law prof. The son was also a Harvard graduate, but went to Berkeley for grad school. He was not conceited.
