"After Hillary Clinton earlier this week mocked Donald Trump’s team of economic advisers as including 'six guys named Steve'..."

"... the Republican presidential nominee expanded his stable of advisers Thursday by nine people, eight of them women."

I notice the media isn't concerned that Hillary pays women less than men and has for many years.

That gets to be rather a lot of "advisers."

Some "rich people" are smart enough to know that in order for them to "fleece" us, we have to first grow wool.

Then there is quantity versus quality. Crooked Hillary no doubt has the usual coterie of left wing, mostly academic, statists, long on Keynesian economics, and short on actual experience make no economic decisions for a little vying. Likely a big overlap with the guys that helped Obama give us the longest recession since the great leftist hero FDR gave us the Great Depression (or, at least made it much much longer). What her people (including the MSM) is doing here is pretending that if their people are just smart enough, just have enough credentials, that they can fine tune the economy, or make the govt run efficiently. But, of course, they are wrong. All the Ivy League degrees in the world won't make that happen, which is why socialism of any stripe inevitably fails (and why oil rich Venezuala has no food and no toilet paper).

Even her attempts at snark are bizarre. She's criticizing people because of their name?

Economies are systems and women don't tend to be interested enough in what makes them work, so it's not good news.

An old male systems guy too old to care about PC might be a good choice.

Is one of these women going to recommend dropping anti-sexism regulations?

A good review of Hillary's 'plan' is here.

I'm struck by how easily Larry Summers is willing to flush his integrity down the toilet promoting Hillary's price controls, Keynesian stimulus, repressive tax structure. And how easily he gets away with it.

Hillary is going to rip us all off so that she and her cronies remain rich and powerful. Nothing good will happen. Nothing.

So what the fuck does Liz Uihlein, the newly-named Trump financial advisor, think of Trump's trade policies?

Her family's company, Uline, is heavily involved in international shipping supplies and runs packaging plants that are virtual poster-children for the North American Free Trade Agreement:

I am not criticizing Mrs. Uihlein, or her family's company. I am not criticizing the fact that they are millionaires and that they are valued supporters (donors) to Republican and conservative causes like the Club for Growth. Those are all good things. NAFTA is a good thing. TPP would be a good thing.

The only dubious thing in all of it is her support for Trump, whose rhetoric is opposed to much of what has made the Uihleins successful, and Trump's campaign trashtalk, in which he assailed Republican "donors." Like, uh, most of his new team of economic advisors.

Hillary's demand-side team is shooting for that sweet spot of 1.5% growth.

Well remember James Watt's joke... "I have a black, a woman, two Jews and a cripple. And we have talent." That got him canned.

But Trump has REAL talent for his team (something Hillary never has had.) Gotta find a joke for the six Steves... and the fact Trump's team over the years made him 10 billion.

He really only needs one 'guy named Steve'. That would be Forbes.

...again, Hillary pays her women less than she pays her men. Her Foundation does that as well.

I will repeat this because, rest assured, the press will NEVER bring it up.

It's not fair to criticize Hillary for paying women less, because that's what everyone does -- it just proves how far reaching and insidious the Patriarchy is.

Much like how even when black police officers/departments are unfair and abusive to blacks, it is still the fault of white racism.

What if trump had 6 guys named "Mohammed" in his economic team, would have Hillary made this comment? It's racism, that's what it is.

Those aren't 'packaging plants', you goof - they're distribution centers... Uline is a DISTRIBUTOR of shipping supplies - they buy products wholesale from a whole bunch of manufacturers and retail them. I bought stuff from them a number of times for various projects several years ago - and at least back then Uline was very proud to note that all the products they sold were manufactured in USA.

Louis Rukeyser generally had at least one nice looking young woman on his show, and they turned out to be high-ranking money managers and sharp as tacks. Way above my paygrade.

I would guess taking any random collection of Steves from the phone book would trounce the focus group list that Hillary would produce.

Turn it around. What does she see that you don't see?

I understand that appealing to Authority is a rhetorical fallacy, but consider that there are a number of people who have skin in the game who like what Trump is saying; perhaps you could hear that too and judge for yourself. Right now you seem to be blinded by hate at a personal level. Will you say that he bribed her with money?

Hillary is pissed because she thought that when she was bought and paid for by Wall Street, it went both ways. And covered everyone.
