Shot with your Lumix or Meade's Nikon.

Is there a macro mode?

My father says I am often wrong, but never in doubt!

As I get older I am less and less certain.

The universe is a vast place. What I do not know can fill it.

Also, as I've gotten older, I find that as I pray, things are revealed to me. And I do not have to do, what I need to do, by myself.

Is your new Lumix a 4/3 camera?

There's a bumble bee ham contest. You find this out on hearing somebody calling cq bb and look up contests when you wonder what that is. Maximum allowed power is 5 watts.

So I worked the guy calling cq bb. Now I have one point. Of course now he has a point too.

I have heard no others.

What a day to cap off a July to be remembered.

Big Sur burns and Maryland washes away.

And CNN launches total war on Trump and the truth.

While Julian Assange quietly releases documents exposing the rigged system of the Military- Industrial-intelligence apparatus behind the curtain. And CNN and the Networks goes postal.

The reason that the trolls are so unconvincing is that they are so certain of themselves that they can't even consider arguments that may weaken their case. Not sure what Scott Adams might say, but Dale Carnegie was also a student of persuasion, and he claimed that you can't be persuasive unless you at lease give the appearance of being persuadable. Once you can fake that, you've got it made. The problem for trolls is that would force them off their talking points, where they cannot be trusted to be. In order to appear that you have honestly considered another point of view before rejecting it, you have to be able recapitulate their arguments in your own words in a way that makes it seem like you understood it.

Liberals are unable to do that.

These media bastards are getting me to do something I never thought I would, donate to Trump.

Listening to Robby Mook (Clinton campaign manager) on MTP warning that a foreign power is trying to influence our election (via email hacks). How many nefarious historical despots have played the "foreign powers" bogeyman?

"The Gaping Maw": that phrase has stuck in my mind. It sounds like the title of a story H. P. Lovecraft would write. Someone needs to do that. (Laslo?)

Now Breitbart reports that the NSA has ALL of Hildabeasts' deleted e-mails. Ex NSA guy turned whistleblower says that the "hack" of the DNC emails was also probably NSA, who is mad at Hills for leaking NSA "Gamma" material thru her emails (*Gamma* materials are encrypted hacked/intercepted conversations between foreign heads of government, etc). This individuals says FBI has total access to NSA material and could retrieve the emails at any time..

Original Mike said...

When Todd asked Mook if there was some way to recover Clinton's 33,000 deleted emails would the Clinton campaign encourage the public release of those emails?, he dissembled like his life depended upon it. You really should watch this. Somehow, that fact that she testified for 11 hrs in front of the Benghazi committee leads to "not relavant anymore".. "This matter has been concluded and "you're asking about hypothetical emails that may or may not be there". So the deleted emails have migrated to the realm of myth.

The Freedom To Refuse Love

Often hell is portrayed as a place of punishment and heaven as a place of reward. But this concept easily leads us to think about God as either a policeman, who tries to catch us when we make a mistake and send us to prison when our mistakes become too big, or a Santa Claus, who counts up all our good deeds and puts rewards in our stockings at the end of the year.

God, however, is neither a policeman nor a Santa Claus. God does not send us to heaven or hell depending on how often we obey or disobey. God is love and only love. In God there is no hatred, desire for revenge, or pleasure in seeing us punished. God wants to forgive, heal, restore, show us endless mercy, and see us come home. But just as the father of the prodigal son let his son make his own decision, God gives us the freedom to refuse God's love, even at the risk of destroying ourselves. Hell is not God's choice. It is ours.

With all the effort put into making Hillary seem normal and likeable during the convention, one would expect her champions to welcome disclosure of emails discussing average things like weddings, grandchildren, yoga, and recipes.
On the other hand, if the emails were to reveal Clinton and her associates to be evil, mean and nasty (as suggested by Laslo several days ago), well...

Wonder how they talked about O and Michelle and their kids in emails?

This is the kinda year when this might be relevant. If somebody today
says somebody drank the Kool-Aid, do they mean the same thing that
they'd have meant if they said it in, like, 1975?

I see the NY Post scored pictures of Melania when she was a 25 year old model just starting out and willing to pose wearing nothing but a pair of high heels.

If that's her.

If I was Trump I don't know that I'd have run for office, given that there are nude photos of my wife out there, even if they were taken twenty years ago.

So maybe that's not her.

Bad Lieutenant said...

Naw, Mike, that's art. The leftists would have a field day with any prudery and Trump eschews it. So they try to flip it and get R prudes to react. It's nothing.

Truly it does not look like her at all, to me, but I suppose it must be so.

This was before Trump met her, BTW. Think of it as a redemption story if it really concerns you. Pretty sure she hasn't had to do any nude modeling since. Thing is, this is old news. Those who beat this drum lessen themselves in my opinion, and I recommend you see it the same.

Hey, I posed nude for live drawing classes in college. $15 an hour or was it $25? I didn't feel a bit immoral and I would wonder why anyone thinks she, or hoe much more so her husband, should.

What is wrong with nude modeling? I've spent hours and hours in classes with nude models. It was considered a serious and lofty activity. It's not pornography!

At least until the dildo comes out.

I am Laslo.

No dildo, Laslo, that's all me.

J/k. No, a stiffie was not in the cards at that time. Quite un-erotic.
