"There are numerous photos of naked young men bending over after an apparent paddling. Please accept this as notice to not destroy [or] otherwise dispose of this paddle."

Said the letter from the state commission to the Arkansas judge, informing him that they'd found — in the judge's computer —  thousands of pictures of "young men, many naked who are in various poses inside the judge's home and outside in his yard."
[T]he commission detailed the allegations of several men — including one under 18 — who described appearing in [Joseph] Boeckmann's court for minor violations. The judge would often give defendants his hand-written phone number and have them serve what he described as "community service" at his home.
Boeckmann has resigned.

Nobody's saying which party. Not even the state of Arkansas:

We give these lawyers/judges respect they do not deserve.

HuffPo readers say he is GOP. Regardless of party this guy should get 40 years in jail if he is guilty.

At least Martindale says he has a 4.4/5.0 high ethical standing. Distinguished!

This judge needs to go to jail, for a long, long time. He has cast doubt - with some good cause - on the integrity of the court system.

In my experience, this may not be so isolated an instance, except perhaps that the judge was homosexual rather than heterosexual.

Corporal punishment is a good idea for some minor offenders, but the paddling should be administered by professionals who can show that they don't enjoy it.

They do it right. The judge does not participate. It is handled by designated officials.

They used to paddle us (with britches on) in Catholic grade school. Big male teachers, including an ex-All American basketball player. Right in front of the rest of the class.

The humiliation was far worse than the physical pain inflicted.

This judge needs to have some creative sentencing applied to his case. What a SOB.

A bit of research shows the judicial elections are non-partisan.

Well, it looks like the judge is up Shit Creek with a paddle.

This is what happens when Scientific Progressives become judges.

Mrs. Bulakaw used to chastise us (boys) in threes, using her 6-foot bamboo, for efficiency. She was well under 5 feet tall.

Probably the same Joe Boeckman who was a part owner of the JWB Farms, which received nearly $6 million in federal farm subsidies in the early 2000's. https://farm.ewg.org/persondetail.php?custnumber=A09267929&summlevel=whois

Of course they do....

If one is going to be a pervert, picking proclivities that do not precede with P would perhaps be prudent. The NY Post moniker, were there to be one, writes itself.

Of all the places I have traveled in the world, through riot, revolution, coup, of all the people I have interacted with, none has been more terrifying than the hillbillies of Arkansas. Just another example.
