"... infusing his underdog campaign with critical momentum and bolstering his argument that the race for the nomination is not a foregone conclusion."
Washington 73%. Alaska, 82%. Hawaii, 71%. Those are some amazing numbers.
And now Hillary must wait 9 more days for another contest, for a chance to show her campaign is still vital. She'd better win in Wisconsin. But Bernie was here yesterday, stirring up the crowds, causing birds to suddenly appear.

Very impressive! Go Bernie!
Go Bernie! Maybe, the NYTimes will begin to report on this:)
Maybe the crows will start swooping at Hillary soon.
Hasn't she bought all the super delegates? There really isn't a way for Bernie to take the nomination from the convention. I really think this is going to get ugly. All the dirty laundry will be on display.
Bernie wins the white people states. It's not enough to deny Hillary the nomination.
She'd better win in Wisconsin.
Irrelevant.
The question now is whether that old a man can live long enough to take the oath. Maybe the ceremony can be held at his Assisted Living home early before his nap time..
They say the Republicans are in trouble. I gotta tell you, we're ALL in trouble. Bernie Sanders, Socialist…has actually won more states than the First Woman to become President. What that says about education in this country is quite substantial. It's as if the entire 20th century has been missed. And economics does not matter, only what you feel matters. However, we do have a full generation of people who think that (a) I work for their pleasure and that they have a claim on what I make, what I produce, and my time of life, and (b) they are owed free education because….they want it, (c) they are owed a certain minimum wage because…they showed up, and (c) corporations are evil, Conservatives are evil, anyone who disagrees with them is evil.
So…good luck with your society once you destroy the producers. I'm sure you'll next go after the person standing beside you at a Bernie rally. You and they just don't realize it yet. It's always the way for Socialists. If you read any history you'd know that. It may get getting close to time where the rest of us go Galt. At which point you'll have to find your resources elsewhere. I'm looking forward to that show.
It's been unseasonably warm around here for quite a while but the Juncos have yet to migrate north, Bernie Sanders in Wisconsin notwithstanding.
"causing birds to suddenly appear. "
Ooooooo, you funny lady. Me love you long time.
Momentum, other than the ISS cargo ship approach, momentum is a bs word.
I hate it.
Those are some amazing numbers.
No. They are not. They are caucuses. They show intensity (and skullduggery), not majority.
OMG.. Cruz is winning caucuses by 70% too.
Abolish caucuses.
Bernie is finished and just doesn't know it.
Shows why DWS couldn't distinguish between Dems and socialists.
The primary voters in Idaho, Utah, Alaska, Hawaii, and Washington have sent a message to the Democrat super delegates. Will they listen? If they listen, will they heed?
The white vs black split in Democrats is getting wider.
Trad Guy, just how old do you think Bernie is. 90? Just you wait until you get to 70 and someone asks you when you are going to die.
Yes, Republicans have problems, but the talking heads and MSM ignore the Problems of the Democrats. Of course we are all Screwed!
Bernie is dead man walking. Its "Weekend at Bernies". With the superdelegates, blacks and other minorities, and Southern whites, Hillary locked down the nomination long ago.
"Mr. Sanders won that precinct on Saturday, and many others. “I appreciate Bernie’s fervor and honesty,” said Ian Forrester, 25, a barista and rock musician who caucused for Mr. Sanders. “We’ve all seen the poor and the middle class suffer during this economic downfall, and we need someone who cares about them, not about corporations.”
Life is going to take a big bite out of Mr. Forrester ass.
Yeah, Bern is toast but the longer his faithful have hope, perhaps the less likely it is that they will turn out for Hillary.
Oof, that's a tortured sentence.
The primary voters in Idaho, Utah, Alaska, Hawaii, and Washington have sent a message to the Democrat super delegates. Will they listen? If they listen, will they heed?
These are not primary voters at all. These are just a small cross-section of the whole, the leftest of the left, pie in the sky, euphoric, unrealistic, not pragmatic, and on and on.
♫ that is why
all the bros in town
follow you all around ♫

Your Hillary enthusiasm is incredible. I have never seen such enthusiasm for such a miserable failure of a human being. She is without accomplishment or charm.
She is a known liar. She has violent outbursts. She is mean spirited. She treats support staff poorly. She is corrupt. She is arrogant.
And you persist.
Hahahaha, "these are not primary voters".
It seems especially quiet this morning behind the Clinton home. Birds are chirping, but only in the neighboring yards. Broken glass shifts in a bag carried by the house keeper on her way out to the bin. She pauses to hold the screen door for a handyman headed into the house with spackle and paint. The handyman nods his thanks. He's seen her many times, but neither of them speaks.
Sanders has won 5 out of the last 6 contests! He will not be going quietly into that good night :-)
I think his chances in Wisconsin are excellent...
[great song, btw]
oh no. I clicked and was instantly transported back in time to an AM Radio induced freeway hypnotic trance, somewhere just outside of Bakersfield or Modesto. Keep driving, until you reached Tom Donahue, and KSAN FM radio. Ah, the bay area. 1968?
Bernie Sanders: Hillary Clinton’s Fundraising Is ‘Obscene’
@ Bob — beautiful vignette. Like a colorful dangling snip of early-November poison ivy.
Well you folks think that the walking dead might be voting for The Bern. And since I'm a registered Democrat and must vote in the Democrat primary in California, I'll cast my vote for Sanders. Well actually, I'm voting "not Hillary".
But come November, Mrs. Clinton being a Democrat and all that, battalions, nay regiments, nay Divisions of walking dead will arise from the grave and cast their votes for the Hildebeest in Illinois--maybe in Texas--certainly in Washington State. That may be enough to put her over the top--and over our heads in January 2017. Be prepared for the knout and lash you hardworking Kulaks out there.
She is a known liar. She has violent outbursts. She is mean spirited. She treats support staff poorly. She is corrupt. She is arrogant.
You forget - she just isn't that smart either.
Or, maybe wasn't that smart, and her IQ seems to have slid over the last decade or so. If you look at her email problems, she just doesn't look that smart. She appears to have used a private email server to avoid FOIA, etc. But, then she attended classes, and signed forms agreeing to abide by the law and the rules, and that it didn't matter if the information was marked classified at all, but rather the content is what mattered. So, her first excuse was that she never sent or received classified information. Huh? She was the Secretary of State. Of course she did. Then, her excuse was that the email wasn't marked classified. Of course, she had signed agreements that said just the opposite - that it didn't matter if the email was marked classified, but rather what mattered was what was in the email. And, we still have yet to see how her buddy Blumenthal got ahold of the classified information that he sent back to her (after being told by Obama that she couldn't hire him). Everything she says in the scandal reveals a serious lack of understanding of what was going on around her. Hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of Americans have signed the exact same forms concerning classified information that she did, and she seems to have expected that no one would remember or figure out that her excuses were bogus.
@Meade
My comment had you itching to respond?
Exactly. Thought I felt a burn. Turns out it was just an itch.
@Bruce Hayden,
Everything she says in the scandal reveals a serious lack of understanding of what was going on around her.
I disagree. I don't think she's stupid. I think she is a strongly narcissistic personality. Narcissists, unlike sociopaths, are bad liars. Sociopaths want to pull you in to use you. Narcissists want you to shut up & go away. Therefore, when they lie, they do so to end a conversation or line of questioning. Which is what HRC does. Over & over & over again.
The question now is whether that old a man can live long enough to take the oath.
Ask his 81 year old brother.
You know who's itchin'?
Amanda and sunsong are itchin' for some of that free shit.
That free shit that the 1% are gonna be providing for them.
That and the total shutdown of the military.
Oh Boy!!!
Free shit for everybody!(except people they don't like)

So both brothers are Communists. Marvelous.

Do what a majority of Democratic primary voters do- use some Preparation-H.

You've got a point there traditionalguy, but is not Hillary in even worse physical shape? Bernie is quite possibly going to be alive after she's gone.
I was thinking of a different "bird" music video about Hillary and Bernie.
Broken hymen of your Highness, I'm left back
Throw down your umbilical noose so I can climb right back
...I wish I could eat your cancer when you turn black
"Thought I felt a burn. Turns out it was just an itch."
HAHAHA!
There's got to be a Democratic Primary metaphor in there somewhere.
Voters thought they felt the Bern, but they were mostly just really irritated by Hillary?

Well, he says he got his information from Tyler Drumheller - but where did Tyler Drumheller get it from?
Blumenthal seems to have had an NSA report about a coup being planned in the Sudan. He probably sent it to her because it wasn't getting enough circulation in the U.S. government, and because it was false. (he only sent her disinformation)
I have it on good authority that the bird just wanted a good look at a Commie, because he'd never seen one before...
Commie, commie, commie, commie, commie, commie-li-on is a great song, too!
Anything that interrupts The Coronation works for me. Let Hillary spend her time, her money, and her energy hanging on for dear life! She will definitely be feeling every ways tarred when he's finished with her. lol
Currently, the Republicans have a rule 40(b) which requires a candidate to have a majority of the delegates from at least eight states to be eligible to win the nomination. Apparently it was instituted in 2012 to reduce the visibility of Ron Paul. However, it is expected that this rule will be modified or eliminated before the convention. But if it weren't...
Currently, states with a majority of delegates won by a candidate:
[The following list was compiled by hand and may have errors]
Clinton: Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia
Sanders: Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Sanders, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Utah, Vermont, Washington
Cruz: Idaho, Kansas, Texas, Utah, Wyoming
Kasich: Ohio
Rubio*: District of Colombia
Trump: Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee
If the rule stands, there is a distinct possibility that only Trump will have enough states.
Of some interest (at least to me), states where a majority of votes won by a candidate:
Clinton: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia
Sanders: Alaska, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Sanders, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Utah, Vermont, Washington
Cruz: Utah, Wyoming
Trump has come close to winning a majority of votes in several states.
* campaign suspended.
@pm317, stop and think for a minute. With all her "experience" and all her money, Hillary Clinton cannot build organizations in the caucus states good enough to win a respectable share of the delegates. Is this a good omen for the Democrats in November?
Sanders, the Trump of the far left.
He mops up in States where dope is legal, too.
Fun to watch Clinton sweat over not having the retail political chops to put him away.
Why do birds suddenly appear every time you are near? It's really giving me the creeps.
@Big Mike,
It actually goes deeper than just the experience and money and building organization. These caucus people are who delude themselves to think they have all the compassion for the poor and the forgotten and no one else does, the ultra-liberals. They have never trusted the Clintons and the erstwhile DLC. They went for Obama in 2008 and 2012 and now for the angry old man. They want to make Europe of America and they know they won't get it from Hillary. Hillary's supporters are more diverse and lack the intensity to take time off from work or other to go to some stupid caucus.
Name a single Hillary Clinton achievement.
And standing up while overwhelmingly intoxicated does not count.
Semi-correction or clarification: Sidney Blumenthal didn't send the actual NSA report about the reported coup plot in the Sudan. But what he sent (on June 8, 2011) repeated some of that verbatim (an entire paragraph) according to what John R. Schindler says he was told.
http://observer.com/2016/03/hillary-has-an-nsa-problem
Actually, Hitler lost the big eon in 1932. Hindenberg won. He lost election after election, but kept winning in the 30s. And finally was made Chancellor.
I am calling the one-man debate for Sammy Finkleman.

According to your article, it looks worse than that, the email that Darth Blumenthal sent Hillary was composed from four different NSA reports, all of them classified "Top Secret/Special Intelligence", and one of them issued under the GAMMA compartment. Making things worse, the assembly of parts of those four documents were put together and sent to Hillary only hours after NSA released them in Top Secret/Special Intelligence channels. Of course, in her defense, the email was not marked "classified", but as the article pointed out, "How did nobody on Secretary Clinton’s staff notice that this highly detailed reporting looked exactly like SIGINT from the NSA?"
I am calling the one-man debate for Sammy Finkleman.
Better than pretty much anyone else, he keeps me honest, both here, and also at Legal Insurrection.
@pm317, believe what you wish, but the basic way to win caucus states is to have a good get-out-the-vote organization, identify your supporters, and motivate them to get to the caucuses. No organization means supporters not identified or motivated, and therefore you lose.
Hillary turns out to be the candidate of the old South. Bernie's winning everywhere else. Huh.
The press is going to do their best to show that this race is the Washington Generals v Harlem Globetrotters game I've always claimed it was. If Bernie somehow won a majority of delegates, he'd drop out anyway.
Hasn't she bought all the super delegates? There really isn't a way for Bernie to take the nomination from the convention. I really think this is going to get ugly. All the dirty laundry will be on display.
Assuming facts not in evidence. Bernie has no desire to win or air dirty laundry.
Though the chances of Bernie winning the nomination are slim to none, it makes sense for him to stay in it. There's always a chance that Hillary gets indicted, and if she has to drop out it would only make sense for the party to nominate him.
If Hillary cared about her party's fortunes this fall, she'd drop out anyway just to forestall such a risk. As it is, Bernie tests better against Trump than she does.
Maybe I'll be there to take your hand
Maybe I'll be there to share the land
They'll be givin' away...
"'Maybe,' but fuck me tonight for sure my commie honey."
