Clinton has zero ethics and does everything she can regardless of ethics or morality do advance herself, but I won't even criticize her for "cheating" at a debate.
The Berners need to understand that this isn't high school and that life is not fair.
Sanders will bring up Clinton's real ethical lapses if he wants to win, but he doesn't really seem too inclined to do that.
Fear the frump brigade. It cheats, it lies, it uses unbelievable excuses to cover unbelievable behavior... The lies are sprouting more lies. Private server - why - everybody dose it! No press allowed to see Hillary take off in a private jet... Leave her alone, you rubes! The families of the fallen are liars too, according to the frump brigade. Is there anything the frump brigade cannot do? Oh soros - you genius, captain of frump, ugly and corruption. The wrinkles, the cackles, the cankles, the flowing fabric, the wrecked currency, the wall street millions....
She cheats even when she doesn't have to. She knows Sanders really doesn't want to win otherwise he would destroy her with the felony issues yet she engages in this petty nonsense. Hillary isn't the main problem. The main problem is that the Democratic Party has become so toxic it has allowed and aided and abetted a grifter and criminal to become its front runner for president.
Corespondent fly on the wall recorded the back-room frump brigade conversation.
Hillary: "I thought Ramos was told to steer clear of any subjects relating to the private server and any possible indictment. Did his 100,000 check clear? what the hell went wrong. Heads are gonna roll. This better not happen again."
I wish someone would ask her, if elected President, will you have a private server?
If she were to answer honestly, it would sound something like:
No. Why would I need a private server when I have full control over the powers of the federal government? In place of a Dark Lord, you would have a queen! Not dark, but beautiful and terrible as the dawn! Treacherous as the sea! Stronger than the foundations of the earth! All shall love me, and despair!
What exactly is that a picture of.....Hillary striding away from a random group of people? It certainly isn't a picture of a meeting.
I don't understand Sander's campaign. They aren't above being petty and calling out minor slights, but they won't actually push on major issues with their competitor.
Sanders is the clearest case of a 2nd place presidential candidate running for a small time cabinet position.
Without actually knowing the content of what they talked about, it is ridiculous to say they broke the rules. These debates go on forever and the aide could be talking about a phone call to her from her daughter or some such thing for all we know. And a wonk like Hillary does not need help in these debates.
Sanders is a Bobo, a fill-in for the real action, which is Hillary already having the superdelegates and enough future elected delegates to win the primary, and enough precincts in VA, OH and FL tied up by her flying monkeys to steal the election, no matter how many votes any Republican gets.
All hail Hillary, our next annointed President! I will consider her first term a success if a nuclear explosion does NOT occur in a US city before January 2021. And I do not expect her first term to be a success.
The guy on the left is there to answer any questions about socialism. He is Karl Marx's long lost grandson, Groucho.

The two women on the right are HRC's fashion co-ordinators. The big guy is Secret Service. Maybe the lady on the left just wanted an autograph to go with the mugshot to be downloaded from the Smoking Gun web page at a later date.
The man, second from the left, is the stand in for Bernie, so she can practice debate him in private. If you look closely, you see his hair messed up after Hillary slapped the shit out of him.
Having said that, why have a rule that you can't meet with your staff during the break? That seems sophomoric.
I guess it's like the rule about not being able to use a Smartphone, or have reference material with you, or do a Google search. Whether that makes any sense is another story.
I think the same kind of debate rules also apply during the general election debates, and always have. I think they can take notes, maybe, but that's it. No outside help.
Just like chess grandmasters don't get any help during a game, except when it's adjourned.
It's smart of Sanders to point this out. I doubt he personally cares but it reinforces the point that Hillary flaunts the rules (which is why even Dems think she is dishonest and trustworthy) and that her mental faculties are weak. Remind everyone of that 15 minute bathroom break where she had to review her mateoals because she can't keep shit straight in her head. What medications is she taking? Why did she put on so much weight? Why the concussion glasses?
I wish someone would ask her, if elected President, will you have a private server?
She'll end up discussing how everybody uses private email services, as if a Gmail account and a private server you had set up and run are the same thing.
The lesson Hillary learned from Watergate is that Nixon should have destroyed the tapes.
How so? The tapes proved John Dean was a liar, in particular about having told Dean to promise clemency to E Howard Hunt.
I think Hillary Rodham actually made a false transcription of some tapes for John Doar of teh House Judiciary Committee. What she learned is that the actual evidence may not matetr, as long as you can get third parties to describe it incorrectly.
They were so steeped in accuations about Watergate that when the June 23, 1972 tape came out, they no longer understood what the smoking gun tape meant. First, it proved that John Dean was manipulating everybody. He lied about something being John Ehrlichman's idea. Second, this was an agreement by Nixon to cover up something that was already known - the connection of the burglars to the Committee to Re-Elect the president. Third, nothing came of it - the CIA did not agree to tell the FBI that something important important would be exposed if they followed the money. Fourth, Nixon had mixed feelings about the whole idea, and he wasn't trying to keep anybody who deserved to be in jail out of jail.
He gave up on the idea of copncealing of the campaign to the burglars by about June 28. He had nothing to do with what subsequently followed. In March, 1973, yes, he agreed to pay blackmail money to Howard Hunt - money that John Dean had already given before asking Nixon for approval but not to protect anything about Watergate but to conceal the burglary of Daniel Ellsberg's psychiatrist's office, which he believed to be national security related, and not illegal, although as Senator sam Ervin pointed out to John Ehrlichman when he testified, there is this thing called the Fourth Amendment.
Nixon agreed to give money to Howard Hunt, but he told John Dean you could only buy time with that. As I said, this had nothing to do with participation in a Watergate cover-up. But by July, 1974 people were too bombarded with Watergate to think straight. And nothing Nixon did anyway here was likeable. Nixon never really came to a conclusion as to who had authorized the Watergate break-in.
The truth was - it was John Dean. Probably to make sure the burglars were caught before they could plant a bug in the McGovern campaign headquarters. He was in league with some Democrats, I think, to make Spiro Agnew president.
If Hillary breaking debate rules makes a difference, this will be the case of the world's tiniest straw breaking the back of the world's most over burdened camel.
If anyone was serious about the rules MSM would widely publicize this illegal conduct and then penalize her at the next debate. Cut her response time in half or make her apologize. Better yet, make her write on a blackboard, "I will obey the rules" 100 times.
Madison Man, Of course it's relevant to the discussion. If you think Hillary is a cheater, be aware that Trump is equally unscrupulous and dishonest, probably far more so, when it call comes out. It's simply too bad if you don't like someone pointing that out.

Rules do not apply to a Clinton. I thought Sanders knew that.
I hope he has a good press.
Does Hillary do anything honestly?
It's a pity that Donald Trump doesn't meet with any adult advisors. Sean Hannity doesn't qualify of course.
Clinton has zero ethics and does everything she can regardless of ethics or morality do advance herself, but I won't even criticize her for "cheating" at a debate.

Think we'll read about this in the Washington Post? If we do, here's the headline:
Sanders whines about Hillary's Debate Performance
Fear the frump brigade. It cheats, it lies, it uses unbelievable excuses to cover unbelievable behavior... The lies are sprouting more lies. Private server - why - everybody dose it! Rules? RULES? LOL!
I think the email server is very revealing of her character. She doesn't give a damn about rules or laws.
Having said that, why have a rule that you can't meet with your staff during the break? That seems sophomoric.
It all depends on what your definition of "meet with" is...
Oh, and at this point, what difference does it make?
Are those advisors, or just the many aides that are required to help her ancient self go to the bathroom?
To quote Leona: Rules are for Little People.
That's the pit crew she needs or her bathroom break.
It wasn't classified as a meeting at the time it took place.
Rob wins the thread.
Depends what the definition of whizz is.
Rules? In a knife fight?
BTW, notice how you need that question mark after "rules"?
Why wouldn't she cheat?
Who is going to call her on it?
The DNC?
The MSM?
Hell...even Bernie is giving her a pass on her corruption.
Why wouldn't she cheat?
Who is going to call her on it?
The DNC?
The MSM?
More Question Marks!
I wish someone would ask her, if elected President, will you have a private server?
"She knows Sanders really doesn't want to win otherwise he would destroy her with the felony issues..."
I don't think that's an option for Sanders because, believe it or not, Democrats don't care about her email server.
So now we expect a Clinton to play by the rules.
just build a freaking Wall and put candidates and advisors on different sides. Don't expect people to just follow stupid debate laws.

Laws are for little people.
Clinton's do whatever they want.
I must say this is a stellar day at the Althouse blog. Seriously. Bravo.
They were there to remind her to wipe it with a cloth (or something).

I am subject to the rules = I am ruler over the subjects.
Besides, those lackeys were just helping her get back into those oversized pajama they dress her in.
Sanders is an angry old man and petty.
Great photo.

Totally; they were probably trading recipes, swapping yoga routines, or doing some quick wedding planning.
Trump was accused of the very same thing last week.

Of course she cheated. But I keep wondering what the heck that woman on the far right is wearing.

New winger talking point: Vote for Hillary, she's just like Trump!
I dig the Mao suit vibe that H. is giving off in that photo.

Relevance to current discussion? Zero. Typical.
Look at the Squirrel over there!
You, little people, should have learned by now, laws and rules don't apply to the Empress Dowager.
Does she have a rule that everyone else must stay two steps behind?

No, only the FBI.
No Huma?
It is interesting that there are certain things that Bernie is willing to go negative on Hillary. Apparently, mostly new things.

I was surprised to see Hillary Clinton walking upright without an adult beverage in her hand. Based on that, I'm guessing photoshop.
I think Hillary and the DNC thought such a rule would benefit her. Even if she didn't break it.
I think the same kind of debate rules also apply during the general election debates, and always have. I think they can take notes, maybe, but that's it. No outside help.
Just like chess grandmasters don't get any help during a game, except when it's adjourned.
Isn't that why she goes to the restroom as well? Hillary is still willing to cheat...
She cheated? Then vote her off the island!
'bathroom break' again. it takes a village.

They had to switch out her empty IV bag.
And replace the battery in her earpiece.
What's the penalty? There's no penalty. Democrat voters won't hold it against her. The GOP voters won't vote for her. So what difference does it make?
Seems like a silly rule that a President wouldn't abide (and shouldn't).
Rick, actually no, it should be "Vote Bernie, he's the opposite of Trump!"
Madison Man,
Of course it's relevant to the discussion. If you think Hillary is a cheater, be aware that Trump is equally unscrupulous and dishonest, probably far more so, when it call comes out. It's simply too bad if you don't like someone pointing that out.
At no time did she send or receive information from her staff that was marked "against the rules" during the debate....so she's in the clear.
Hard to tell when Hillary is not cheating.
Bernie doesn't give a damn about her emails, but he thinks this is important? Sheesh. He's running for 3rd place in a 2-person race.
A Clinton cheat? Is the Pope Catholic?
I'm shocked. Shocked. To see that gambling is going on here.
Rules, schmules. Hillary is above all that !
Queen Cacklepants cheating?! Is there nothing left to believe in any more?
