"I'm here trying to clear her name and let them know I consented to that, I just didn't finish the job as you could say."

"Everyone wants to do something spontaneous. I'm not being disrespectful to you. Have you ever done anything spontaneous?"

A man defends his woman, who was arrested for after having sex with squatting on top of him when he was unconscious...  on a parking lot... in broad daylight.

ADDED: The way the article (in The Daily News) is written, I pictured them on the surface of the parking lot, but — after I said they both should have been arrested — Meade says, "They were in a car!" Public lewdness is a crime, but when do the police actually arrest people for it? How exposed to other people were they? Have you ever done anything spontaneous? If so where? Perhaps in a car. Probably not on the surface of a parking lot.

Now, I've clicked through the link within the link, and I can clearly see that they were on the surface of the parking lot. They were also fully clothed. And the woman was charged not with anything in the realm of sexual assault, but only public drunkenness.

UPDATE: I've been pointed to the Daily Mail article and, as a result, crossed out "They were also fully clothed."

I can imagine what sort of "sex" she would be having with him when he was unconscious.

A woman after my own heart.

Huh…didn't know Lena Dunham was married.

What? That's what happens when you're watching the Detroit Lions as you read and comment on something. Apologies to Lena Dunham. She deserves better than that. Or something.

Wasn't he incapable of giving consent?

What would happen if the gender roles were reversed...would the retroactive consent matter?

Good thing they weren't college kids on campus or his Future would be ruined.

Of course, when your Future consists of passing out drunk in parking lots it may not matter that much.

Can you say double standard?

Myself, I never have passed out drunk in a parking lot.

I have been drunk in a parking lot where I was sucker-punched and fell unconscious to the ground, but I was NOT passed out.

And I don't think anyone had sex with me during that time.

But I might have still consented, depending.

Make it parallel. The woman in your hypothetical stands by the man and says I want to clear his name and let them know I consented to to it, I just couldn't finish. Also: They didn't even have their clothes off.

I wonder what most husbands and wives think is the understanding if one of them happens to fall asleep during sex. Does that happen that often? Maybe some people would say that if someone is that close to passing out when they start that they weren't allowed to start because consent could not be given.

This just struck me as funny. A short off-shoot of an argument that is left tantalizingly untouched.

What WOULD be the difference of apparel?

Is nudity a form of consent?

I hope.

My local news program had a story they headlined "Kissing Bust." A pair of lesbians were, according to them, just kissing in a public place, affectionately, not sexually, and were busted by a bigoted cop.
At the very end of a long piece, very sympathetic to the ladies involved, the news-drone mentions that what they were actually arrested for was felony assault on a police officer. One of the ladies mentioned offhand that she did slap the cop and knocked his sunglasses off.

My point is that in this the case the woman would be ignored, as either the actions of an enabler or a frightened woman. The book would still be thrown at the man.

Dogs don't have to get drunk to have sex in public in the middle of the afternoon. The plus of this story is that the couple gets drunk early enough to get to bed early. Model citizens.

They should have claimed to be transgendered, then they both would have been celebrated for their courage.

In other news: University of Notre Dame tutor pressured male students — including athletes — into having sex with daughter: lawsuit

Don't send your sons to Notre Dame --- or any other school with female cougars on the faculty.

The alleged relationship did not begin until he sought tutoring lessons during this year’s spring semester. Those lessons quickly escalated to out-of-state sexual rendezvous between her daughter and the student.

She would later interrogate him about the “nature, frequency, and quality of the sexual activities” they had, the lawsuit claims, badgering him with “racially-charged comments about his sexual prowess and genitalia."

You just don't insult a young kid about his manhood unless you really want to get him mad. People may say that is is a hoax, but we all know that kids don't lie about sexual harassment.

This is not just about sexual harassment but also about racial discrimination. He was being used and abused like a sex toy. How much time will elapse until the Department of Justice sends the FBI to investigate this. It's probably just the tip of the iceberg. The suit says it's not an isolated incident, other students have also been pressured into having sex. Men have just been too intimidated to talk about this exploitation.

There was a survey that said a majority of Brits reported that they had never had sex while completely sober.

Was it rape? Fuck no. I've been fucked in my sleep once or twice and it's fairly hot to wake up to that.

That being said...until there is equality in punishment, she should suffer the consequences. Sad, but equality isn't always pretty.
