Best of the Web (WSJ)today referenced a letter to the editor of the Wash Post:
"I was outraged that The Post would publish a comic that showed a child riding a shark in the ocean [“Lio,” Comics, July 13]. Surely the editors must be aware of the inherent danger of approaching, let alone riding, these magnificent beasts. With the rise in shark attacks in North Carolina and elsewhere, The Post should be more diligent about not promoting shark-riding to their readers and should focus on the examples in Mark Trail of how to approach dangerous wildlife. People should not touch or ride sharks!"
I had to check it out. Yep, it was published July 17th.
I saw the other day that one in every five students in high school will be experience sexual assault by a teacher, and that in four of the five cases the perpetrator will be female teacher. Is that true?
Oh, who knows? Everything is at once awful and never-been-better and also destined for perfection. What room in the universe is there to disclaim? (Is gossip about ideas any more good than gossip about people?) Do I dishonor my God by being other than my most perfect self? Answer: No, I am by His decree perfect in my being. In addition to His perfection residing in me. So what space is there in that to engage with... sin? Hmm.
I think in anticipation of the Singularity/Second Coming I should prophesy about our perfection. We cannot understand our sin without understanding our perfection. So apparently somewhere in history we lost touch with our perfection.
Governor Walker signed the "Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act which bans abortions after 20 weeks. My personal belief is that life begins at conception, but can someone me when or what has led to the belief there is no pain until after 20 weeks?

If we stipulate that there is no reason to believe that "there is no pain until after 20 weeks," should we nevertheless not project as many as possible if the votes can be had to protect those 20 weeks and older? Politics is the art of the possible.
Trump also made a comment about our government treating illegal aliens better than it treats wounded veterans. That's an anacoluthon.
However, it does treat illegal aliens - especially if they are "Hispanics" - better than it treats our native ones, not to mention legal immigrants, and this is something I think the Republicans ought to point out to our "Hispanic" citizens, who already are entitled to vote.

Here's a question for you all: is it just me, or are surprisingly many people talking about the moon landing anniversary for a non-round year? Sure, in 4 years, yes, for the 50th anniversary, I would expect a lot of talk, but the 46th anniversary?
I was unaware of this correlation but will bow to your gimlet eye. Well, if you started now could you have a rocket to the moon and back in 4 years? Knowing what we know.
The Grand Ayatollah gives a speech telling the negotiators at Geneva they can take their "deal" and shove it where the sun never shines. John Kerry finds that "very disturbing" and "does not know what to make of it"!

I believe the 20 weeks are an attempt to satisfy Roe and the other USSC abortion cases.

Showy one, too.
5 Z's but there is still no 'Z' in Laslo.
I am Laslo.
Nice photo by the way. The lighting makes it special.
Is it too late to decree that -splain is not an actual suffix? Possibly the most cringe-worthy neologism since webinar.

Riding sharks? Ask Mick Fanning. I don't like em'. But that's a lifestyle choice.

No.
I intend to watch the movie "Green Inferno" when it comes out. I'll be rooting for the cannibals.

I hope The Donald stays in and continues to grievously insult everybody - R or D - with the possible exception of Carly Fiorina.
Hagar, if the ayatollah ain't happy, no deal, right? Is it another bite at the apple to get even more concessions, or do they really want war?
They want war. First the Middle East, then the world.
It is commanded by the Koran and is not to be questioned.
