I love this: "Plastic Surgery With Magazines"...

... by Metra Bruno and Laurence Jeanson. I'll give one example, but they're all quite amusing:

That is art. It is possible to be creative, clever, and modern. Mattress girl, take note.

On "Six Feet Under," Claire, the daughter, was struggling in art school until she started doing almost exactly this. I see from the HBO site that they were inspired by artist David Meanix's work in creating these pieces; #31 of 36 is one of the best.

It's a cool technique but for me it lost its impact very quickly.

I think I did something like this in 3rd grade art and got a bad grade.

But then I'm a STEM guy who doesn't understand.

It's puerile but humorous art in that 1969 Botch Tape kind of way.

Ah, but see, you're not an Artist™. Back away from the easel, sir; best leave that to the professionals!

Some of those girls had such big eyes I'd be afraid to meet them on a dark street. Eyes like vampire owls.
