I listened to a discussion about why the fall colors are so much more vibrant this year. It has to do with the summer weather the last two years--drought and heat and then rain and cooler summer. Or at least that's what I gleaned from the discussion. But I thought I'd been noticing more color than the past few years. And them, of course, we didn't get the high winds that blow away all the leaves before they reach their peak.
Royal up 2-0 on Giants. Hope Royals win. When the Giants' fans cheer it sounds like glass breaking to me. Now 3-0. Oh, yes, murmurs of disappointment from the home faithful. Sweet.
Warned this was coming. The FEC's Ann Ravel believes that unpaid political speech on the internet needs to be regulated. Her letter reads like a staffer's missive, explaining that she will be seeking input from, "social entrepreneurs, policy wonks, politicos and activists." Link at Drudge.
The sun is setting on the freedom that citizens enjoy to express their political views.
