William said...: Carol Lynley was no Tuesday Weld, but she seems to have worked steadily throughout a long career. A lot of an actor's career is just blind luck. Just recently I saw Shakespeare in Love. Gwyneth Paltrow has an air of artificiality about her. In her role in that movie that air of artificiality worked like a charm and made her a star.....Carol Lynley never got a star turn, but she was certainly fun to look at. I might have watched the episode, but she was wearing a nun's habit. A Nan's habit does something for Whoopi Goldberg but not for Carol Lynley.; 8/15/14, 10:55 AM
