I get bedtime procrastination. Part of it is "my night's over and work will soon be here." It's brushing my teeth and remembering to do something (write the rent check, whatever). It starts Sunday night and ends Friday night. Then I will fall asleep for 30 wake up and have a hard time getting back there even if exhausted. It's a bummer.
The only thing that got me to go to bed on time was a physically demanding job that I work for long hours. Not getting enough sleep is no longer an option- I won't be able to function the next day.
That's why my greatesr success with getting to sleep on time is when I try to maintain a schedule very early to bed, very early to rise. The solid block of time for *me* in the mornings is a powerful motivator.
I remember as a kid not wanting to sleep till late. But now sleep is desirous. Still stay up later than I should but I don't fight the urge to sleep anymore.

I used to feel that way - a lot - but then I got older.
Now sleep's a blessing,...
"It is a mental torture I find debasing … I simply cannot get used to the nightly betrayal of reason, humanity, genius."
Talks like a brainless moron, doesn't know one "rejuvenates" one's brain in sleep.
Sleep is a necessary period and process which redirects resources for reconstruction and internal defense.

I guest sex is also a problem for you.
You have this post tagged Psy. I expected this was a quote from the "Gangnam Style" artist. I'm guessing you meant to tag it 'psychology'.

And I expected Gangnam Style, too.

This insult to sleep made me deeply angry, but then I saw it was Nabokov, so eff that guy and anything else he has to say.
I can feel my immune system smiling from over my shoulder with a Cheshire Cat grin.
Sleep is the most moronic fraternity in the world
I bet not.
Sleep is the most moronic fraternity in the world
Duh, that's Alpha Tau Omega.
