The child was was “crying its eyes out” with hunger, he said, so he asked the mother to “please give it something to eat!”
He added: “I wish to say the same to humanity: give people something to eat!"

Pope Francis encourages mothers to breastfeed their babies in the Sistine Chapel.
"If they are hungry, mothers, feed them, without thinking twice. Because they are the most important people here."

But how does he feel about light rail?
Best pope evar!
A man's gotta eat.
Many years ago, I was representing a landlord in connection with a tenant's claim that my client had violated the DC rent control law. In the tenant's administrative appeal hearing, after the tenant had made her argument (she was pro se), as I started my argument, the tenant opened her shirt and began to nurse her baby. That distracted from the brilliance of my argument. I didn't think it was fair.
But the Pope is clearly right in the environment he's dealing with.
He added: “I wish to say the same to humanity: give people something to eat!"
Lead by example, Franky...I'm sure the Vatican art collection could fund a few Meals on Wheels.

Lame. Lame. Lame.
You are so sad.
I will pray for you.
It seems this pope has an opinion on everything. Is there anything Pope Francis does not have an answer for?
Or is that just what happens after one decides to be the very humblest pope ever?
