The section of "Vamp and Tramps" she refers to is a transcript of a CNN "Crossfire" episode, where she's on with Michael Kinsley and Pat Buchanan, talking about the Whitewater scandal in 1994. I couldn't find video of it on line, but I've got the text, and Kinsley starts of the discussion by saying there's "extraordinary antagonism towards Hillary Clinton, far beyond anything that could be explained by Whitewater or health care or anything like that," and suggesting that it's really "old-fashioned resentment of a successful, powerful woman."
Paglia vehemently disagrees, saying she'd "loved Hillary during the campaign" and "is judging her not as a woman but as a person in public life."
I feel that she has no idea how to maintain herself in that high position. She just hides from accountability. I find her arrogant. I find her cold. There's more and Paglia has to fight off the accusation of sexism (mostly for daring to judge the expression on Hillary's face). Ah, here's the transcript (minus 2 pages, Google Books style).

I have always loved Camille Paglia. She is the smartest liberal woman. Why she is not a regular at NYT op-ed page is a mystery to me?
Camille a regular at NYT?
She wanders off the liberal plantation far too often to ever get that gig.
Personally, in all aspects I've always found her very attractive.

[Four Americans under her command dead but]
"What difference, at this point, does it make?"
Maher can give some great rants, sometimes even on Islamic Fundamentalism, but it's not enough to make up for the steady stream of pandering crap fraudulently pedalled as irreverant.
What has Mrs. Clinton accomplished in public life? What happened on her watch at State? How is that "Reset" with Russia going? What major legislation did she sponsor as a Senator? One is reminded of Senator Obama. The Dems think they can win on demography alone, and they can in presidential elections because the GOP base are basically bigots.
That cracks me up, how the two men who are running the show can't get a word in.
"Ann Lewis--"
"Ann, excuse me."
"Camille, can I get into this?"
"Camille, I'm going to get in here."
"Excuse me, Camille."
Gosh Paglia talks fast! It's like listening to Alvin and the Chipmunks.

She spent most of her life baking cookies, so to speak, which didn't require much in the way of initiative or understanding. However, It did make her a good party apparatchik, and she reaped the rewards.
Remember how Obama's greatest accomplishment was running a presidential campaign.
Well, Hillary's greatest accomplishment is running for president as a woman. What more is needed in terms of résumé? Petty achievements like bills passed into law and foreign policy successes? Pshaw! (I do wonder if she'll have another one of those "Who do you want answering the phone at 3am?" ads. Surely it's obvious the answer is not her anymore. She'll get four people killed.)
Femine-in as opposed to Feminism?
First time I'd heard that.
There is an Old Testament story in the Bible wherein David is running for his life with a band of his warriors, hiding in the hills from the king.
He comes down looking for food and finds a wealthy man. The wealthy man disrespects him and sends them away. David and his men plan to come back and kill this man and take what they want. But the wife of this wealthy man comes to David and apologizes for her stupid husband and gives them what they want, in order to spare her foolish husband and their house from David's wrath.
This would be a classic case of Femine-in rather than Feminism. This woman wasn't trying to be the head of her house. In those days, women were treated about the same or worse than slaves. But she was using what power she had to save her family and her home. The power that came from the man.
Is there any evidence Hillary has ever done anything like this? Ever? Just because Bill became President, doesn't mean Hillary ever used her station of First Woman to get anything done.
Maher over they years has developed a mean-spirited nature over the years. As with many Democrats, I think a lot of it stems from Al Gore losing the 2000 election, and as the complete fraud of the current president becomes too apparent for them to deny much longer, the anger and self-loathing is likely to explode in nasty ways.
I'd love to see Paglia and Ann Coulter discussing political issues of the day.
Brian Lamb could moderate.
Keep Maher out of it. He was and is, an asshole!
What happened to paglia, She fell off the map.
Well demographics and an ever-enlarging stream of handouts.
"if you think you hate Bill Maher, you may change your mind"
Stop trolling us.
Or maybe you just think you're not trolling us.
I thought Camille Pagilia was one of the few (if only) feminists to call Bill out for his sexual discrimination, harasssment and assault. Maybe thats why she's fallen off the radar - they purged her.
I used to like Bill Maher. Paglia used like Hillary. People change. Both Paglia and I would suggest that Maher and Clinton were the ones who changed.
Someone somewhere once thought something about Hillary.
Blogging should be pretty soft work for the next couple years.

Back then, his show was one of my favorites. He at least did give equal time and respect (whether he actually felt that or not) to the so-called politically incorrect views. Now, not nearly so much.
